You actually think BioWare is showing too much cleavage and leg in their games?

Are you...by chance...Amish?

PS: Oh god how I miss Red Sonja. Someone totally needs to mod that armor set into DA cause I'd totally make Alistair wear it.

I saw a huge group of Amish people in town a while back. I had to look back at my car to make sure I wasn't stepping out of a Delorean.

On the issue of sex appeal in Bioware games. Gonna label that under not an issue.

Isn't that Alistair and his faithful loin cloth?  Just saying. Image IPB

Agreed, especially because Alistair is purty

@Kerridan Kaiba Tekken has some great fanservice for females for sure

I don't really see the big deal about Miranda's outfit, actually.  Yeah, it's pretty much painted-on, but we see that in a lot of games, and it doesn't really show skin or cleavage.  Besides, Jacob's outfit is just as skintight.  Miranda's just receives more attention, especially from male players, for reasons that I think are obvious.

So, I actually thought they were doing a better job with the eye candy than usual in ME2.  Not to say that it's all perfectly balanced, but Miranda has her obvious counterpart Jacob, and Thane is packing some pretty tight Solid Snake-style threads.

I wonder if the person that started this post, instead of using the Delorean, ended up here using H. G. Well's original Time Machine.

Please get back into the Delorean and go back to the 18th century and stop H. G. Wells from creating it.

Then this post will dissapear....and we can all go back to enjoying the beauty of the feminine and/or masculine form like rational adults without having some hypermoral throwback from the late 1800s...or possibly modern Tehran, attempting to thrust their morality on everyone else by calling us "immature" because we find the tasteful display of human physiology not in the least bit offensive.

Bluntly put now...if anything, more of it...especially the alien kind...turian, asari , i don't care which...BioWare have got balls, they shown us that with Mordin telling us not to swallow anything that comes out of Garrus, now they need to finish it off by tea-bagging the lame face of society with un-scensored Garrus and Shep Shep love! I also say this becuase, are you not seeing the pattern ... ME1: was a 12 and now ME2 is a 15... im seeing a correlation between the games and the content here, so in theory BioWare have already begun their inter-species love crusade : )

Should I quote Jhorwath or should I quote Caine? Or should I simply say that there isn't that much skin in these games to begin with? Argh, what a horrible dilemma!

Does this make sense as it's a fantastical game or is just juvenile stuff holding games back to be associated with teeny bops.

e.g. Morrigans FHM armour, Asain lady's in skin tight latex with a cut on the breast part to show off cleavage and a big blue lady showing baps, skin tight super-human lady with perfect butt (which the camera focuses on to make the player aware of).

Being male, I don't mind but when you have a game attempting to be very serious (Dragon Age) it makes it alittle more difficult to take it seriously, such as the angry Elf lady in Awakening who is dressed like some sort of hooker mage.

All female mages dress like that til you can get them some decent armor..lol.    Besides  being that this is rated for 17+   I highly doubt that its necessary to get rid of such things just to "make it more serious".    Eye candy,  and I am afraid ..that sells.   Look at any tv commercial.   Or billboard ad.

Thats what makes the world go around, its part of life.     About the only way to avoid it is to walk around blindfolded. :P

Does it make life less serious?   No.  :)  Serious things still happen...

Speaking as an artist...there is absolutely nothing wrong with the human form as Nature created it....(not getting into God and Darwin..thanks! :D)

What is wrong..is the "morality" that is imposed, thus making women go to church wearing hats,  to "seem modest" and women in other countries covered head to toe..to hide their femaleness, due to some male law or religion.

Maybe one day all of that will be realized to be unnecessary, and women will be treated equally the world over..for who they are.

/off soapbox.

I'd agree at least to the extent that Samara's outfit felt overly sexualized without reason.

I agree with that. We can all run around naked. Talk with the woodland creatures. It could be like Snow White... granted she had on clothes.

Actually, I think we should show much more cleavage, but it man boob cleavage. Nothing like hairy moob cleavage to attract fans.

Or maybe it should be the cleavage in my back fat. That'll bring in the sales.

On the subject of thread.  There is far worse out there so...no.  Besides with the right cloths the characters look even sexier than even semi-nude.

Subtle can be sexy too. :)
