All in all, I think Bioware more or less has a nice compromise between having well dressed folks and otherwise, and they have shown clear self-awareness for when they did go overboard (Pretty easy to hear comments about Miranda's outfit) with the only exception being Samara. Apparently when she gave up all relationships and personal possessions, this included the zipper on her catsuit.

And you know what, while I'm at it? Tali. Absurd, and disgusting I tell you! Probably the most oversexualized character in the game. Bioware dresses this alien girl as a skank! Man, just. I don't know. What were they thinking?

TELL ME. COVER UP THIS WOMAN, RIGHT NOW.

Whether or not you approve of the outfits in Bioware games, they seem to contain less silicone.

There goes that franchise. I took Samus' gradual sexualization in stride. I missed the days of her old bulkier suit of indeterminate gender. After Metroid's ending revealed Samus' gender and her popularity grew, her outfit became sleeker and with each installment looked slightly more female in shape. That didn't bother me much. I love sleek and stylized. But Team Ninja? Yeah, that scares me. I saw what they did to one of my favorite game franchises when it was updated to modern times. In other words, Ninja Gaiden. Now they're working on the next Metroid game? Excuse me while I go sulk in my corner.

My first reaction to the news of Team Ninja doing the next Metroid was similar.  In truth, though, I doubt that they will be so disrespectful to the franchise as to give Samus massive, gravity-defying boobs with full jiggle effects.

Also, I finally got around to checking out one of the videos of the game, and have to admit that it is looking promising (to me, anyway).  Not sure how the whole 2D gameplay angle will affect the exploration side of things, though.

I should say right now that I was able to overlook Ninja Gaiden's excess sexualization and all around ridiculousness and enjoy it quite a bit as a very solid action game and bit of spectacle.

What? No. I see attractive women everywhere, don't know if it's because where I live (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil) but it's just like this for me.

What I would want to get rid is the obvious camera angles. BW should know we can notice things and it's not necessary to shove it on our faces. Or at least make it less obvious or unnecessary. Like in Miranda's romance scene or Samara's boobs in your face while she was walking. It was showed in your face, but it was for a brief moment and it was a scene the camera was going up from her feet until it reached her face. This way it doesn't feel so gratuitous.

Edit: And it's not like DA:O or ME2 reached Bayonetta's level. THAT is ridiculous, gratuitous and teenage level.
