Well..I have my hubby's ninja sword, but I really don't know how to use it.    I AM however, a crack shot with a rifle...too bad I don't own one currently.  lol

I cheered for the patriots for a good 15 years and the same for the celtics. That period of the late 80's-90's when they both were horrible.  I have been in Maryland the majority of my life so the Ravens are my team but New England is were I and my family are from so. That and the Ravens are the only area team I have any love for so its Bruins, Pats, Sox, Celtics for me

I think I am in a good place. Out in the country to its not a major population center. I know that around here there are enough people that own their own little arsenal that we could start a war or arm a army.

You guys really have to watch ''The road'' with Viggo Mortensen which came out in 09. Best apocalypse-movie I have ever seen. Very realistic, and it features cannibalism.

A couple semesters ago Max Brooks was over here lecturing us on how to survive the apocalypse.



My plan is very clear; get back home, get to my quite depopulated home region, gather with all my ancient warfare comrades, get a gladius, a chainmail and go to a village that is actually fortified, has access to water and quite good soil to plant food and rise livestock.

Man just thinking of apocalypse-movies, the Book of Eli was sooo bad. Only the acting of Gery Oldman was great, but the rest. Ugh.

Alaska is a good source of food only for 6 months; the rest, everything is covered with snow. My region is depopulated and has not that terrible climate, and we have a lot of electric windmils...

Alaska has lots of fish! The big rivers don't freeze and fishing is easy. Fish + water = staying alive.

Ya your lucky to have lived in a region of where towns used to be built in fortifiable places with walls and such.

No. We head to a military base. The soldiers will likely have abandoned their posts, and there will be stockpiles of ammunition. Not to mention the fact that our housing and defenses will be pre-built.

Hmmm we have one of those bomb shelter type tunnels under our Legislative buildings, probably built in the Second World War. Probably go there, with my hubby and dog in tow. hehe
