Im stuck in the urn of sacred ashes quest. Im in the temple near Haven. I walk up the first set of stairs, turn left to find what i belive is a key to open the door to the front. I kill the bronto and the first set of fanatics, then i get swarmed by the cultists and raped by those 2 mages. Their ice attacks just make me completely defenseless. Please help.

My party:
Me warrior / berserker lv 14 very much focused on shield battle
Wynne lv 13 i think healer
lelliana lv 13 rouge
that other warden you get as first follower (can't remember his name XD)

I don't know if a topic like this exists already since i can't use the search function, tested both my browsers and it's not working.

Well I wouldn't really know what you should do since I merely went on the bad guys side then killed them when they least expected it.
May the Maker give you mercy!

Well lol... Got me on that one. xD
I've worked with them when I was offered.
They will give you a chance as well when you're near the entrance to the dragon.
If you join with them the good things would be that you wouldn't have to fight them (not that easy to), you have people help you, and you get knowledge from "Andraste". The bad things would be that if you're trying to get on Alistair and Leliana's good side then it's best to just fight them AND the dragon. However if you have Zev and Morrigan and you wish to be friendly with them then they will happily approve of your decision. Oh and another bad thing if you work with the baddies (xD) then Leliana will leave in terms with the Maker's thoughts. So good luck and I hope you make the right choice!

Ummm, well a screenshot of your mini-map and the environment you fight in would help, usually on very though fights the key is to either retreat to "spread" them or to use walls to your advantage, especially against mages. Don't be afraid to run, melee fighters are more inclined to follow you than mages so you can take them in separate groups.

It took me a couple of goes on that fight Kurten, in the end, I took the mages first, with a paralysis trap or equivalent in the other path. I'm duelist, with shale, morrigan, and wynne. It was a tought little fight, but just try triggering the fight a few different times, until you can nuke a mage down straight off the bat, without everyone standing right there waiting to get iced.

I guess this is how you learn the reaver spec? I want reaver but i want to keep leliana and alistair :[ Anyway im gonna try to stock up on ice salves and health potions and try again tomorrow :]

Well, if you don't think it's cheatin (some people like this others don't) go through with the evil mission then load a save from before you tainted the ashes and do it the good way. You unlock Reaver for all playthroughs so this way you can have your cake and eat it too!
