"Will my items transfer to Awakening when I import my character?
Most items will import into Awakening from Origins. All items obtained from the Return to Ostagar DLC will transfer. Weapons, armor and other items that are unique to all other DLC releases will not transfer.
Your storage chest at Warden's Keep will not be accessible and items stored in it will not transfer to Awakening. Be sure to go back and retrieve anything you think you might want before importing your character to Awakening. You will have a new storage chest at Vigil Keep once you are in Awakening."

The statement is actually incorrect. It seems Stone Prisoner items will transfer (for most PC players, anyway.)
That's what's sort of ironic about it.

My main issues are the crash to desktops that I've been experiencing since 1.3 and Awakenings. Sometimes the game will crash with an APPCRASH error message, and other times it will just dump me back to desktop with no error message at all. I believe I've had one quest related bug as well, but I first and foremost would just like the game to be stable.
I played Awakening, get one crash very soon, removed all mods (and disabled all DLC but RTO and SP), then never get a single crash. during play I add back some mod, clearly supporting Awakening. Perhaps you could try remove the mods you are using? Or try disable some DLC (which, I admit, is weird if you have to do it, but not a big surprise for me as I never believed in the programatic dream that are DLC).

Did you miss the bit where Stone Prisoner was pretty much ïn the game"to begin with? Shale was always intended to be part of the storyline, she was cut because of time constraints on development IIRC and made DLC included with the box after the release of DA:O was delayed further?
IMNSHO, Stone prisoner doesn't really count as DLC.

What the bottom line is, what they're not telling you is,
the items for Stone Prisoner and Return to Ostagar were coded correctly
the items for Warden's Keep and Blood Dragon Armour were coded wrong
That's what that statement doesn't tell you, and is the real truth.
(Correctly, in this case, means their flags were set to "game-specific" rather than "module-specific".)

Amaranthine Law and Order quest buggy if you do the smuggler quests as well.
Smoe subquests in Vigil's Keep cannot be completed as well
At the end of the game the ending cinematic keeps on repeating
Game crashes frequently, which was a non-issue in pre-1.03 DA:O.

I've had serious crashing problems in Origins after installing Awakening and patching up to 1.3. I've tried disabling all mods except for DLC, and it doesn't help. This was *not* a problem with my original install or any patches until the most recent, so I have to conclude that it's related to 1.3. Since I've gotten into the habit of hitting F5 every 30 seconds, I don't lose much, but it is extremely irritating.

I can't find any official post specifically stating that Warden's Keep content was intentionally left out of Awakening, but it has been implied this is the case by moderator comments and the fact that if you don't disable the DLC Starfang's mesh interferes with Vigilance's mesh (so a patch would have to involve either finding what all the conflicts are and renaming resrouces and reassigning IDs or redoing Warden's Keep to be compliant with Awakening).
I installed a mod that (in not-so-miraculous fashion) was able to alter my existing game (save game imported to a new PC with new DA:O + A install) such that I was able to duel-wield Starfang and Vigilance with correct models.
If it could be done by a mod, then BW D___ sure could have done it. Would not have been trivial, but would have been possible. I just wish that was the biggest bug I found.
Given all the other issues (can't buy novice barrier runes, can't import DLC for no obvious reason, often have troubles in Mines even for characters who have no DLC content, some badguy/goodguy quests can't be finished if you start both, some companion loyalty quests can't be finished if you start UNRELATED quests, etc.),,,
Why is there still discussion? Can we just all accept that those who find the current game playable-as-is should go do that and stay off the forums, and the rest of us will sit here and complain until BW stops working on their MMORPG (OMGWTFBBQ?) and graces us with another patch?

I wasn't arguing against the feasibility of making Warden's Keep items and powers transferrable, I was pointing out that Awakening wasn't developed or tested with Warden's Keep (which supports the statement that this was intentional) in mind and if Bioware did intend to backtrack on its statement the solution would be to either patch Awakening (which would be complicated) or patch Warden's Keep (which would be simple and is exactly what the mod you pointed out does).
But the bottom of the line is if Bioware says this was intentional then they're not going to fix it - not that they can't, just that they won't; if anything's going to be patched it would be the Blood talent icons showing up in the talents menu.
Note that I'm not defending the decision in any way, just pointing out that calling it a bug when the developers don't recognize it as such is pointless - better to call for a reversal of the decision (highly unlinkely) or promote the user mod that fixes it if you care to.

Irrespective of all arguments, you have a point here. Bioware shot themselves in the foot with the DLC thing - the decision to not support DLC content was never going to be popular, and when they justified it by saying that they'd prefer to spend more time polishing the game rather than supporting the DLCs... well, when it turned out that the game didn't have that much polish and it took a modder a matter of hours to fix the DLC stuff, Bioware ended up with egg on their faces.

I do hope you recognize that the team working on SW:TOR has little or no knowledge about DA:O, and probably they won't move staff from a top priority project that has already been delayed to get them up to speed on DA development, just for the sake of a single patch.
Chances are most of the DA team are now working on the sequel, and there is only a skeleton crew developing DLCs and patches for DA:O.

I can't talk details at the moment, but there is another update in the works. We've all been working to compile issues and QA and the dev team have been in bug triage continuously to decide on the contents of the patch and what fixes it will contain.
I've been watching the tech forums more and more to at least get information on issues, even if I don't have a ready fix for them. I'd encourage you to post to the appropriate ones to talk in detail about any issues that are really annoying you. There are posts at the top of each that detail how to report bugs so we can get the best understanding of what's going on and enter them into the bug database. In most cases, we are aware of the issues you'd meet, but a full description, rather than "this thing is broken", is always helpful to making the fixes we can.
Looking forward to it and hope it won't be of the same quality as 1.03...
