I doubt it will be possible. PS3 gamers as a whole need to find some universal means of getting their saves(at least the ones not locked) onto the dashboard of their PCs, back on their PS3s and propperly working again...only then can you start looking into what you can actually read and change in those saves. As far as I know there is still no way to get PS3 saves out of the console(can't remove hard drive without screwing with the hardware and eliminating your warranty and you have no memory cards of any sort). So perhaps if Sony could be convinced into giving you guys memory cards or removable hard drives then you'd be a step closer to being able to mod your saves.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am new to modding! Is it at all possible to make it so that I can romance Miranda as a female?
You can trick the game into it but it won't play normally as femshep doesn't have the voicefiles for responding to Miranda romance dialogue. What you can do is play as a male and romance the female of your choice(Miranda, Tali or Jack) until you are about to launch the suicide mission but before going through the Omega 4 relay change your maleshep's gender in gibbed's.....and be sure to have a female appearence(obtained by exporting it from an actual femshep save file) ready to import onto that maleshep or it won't come out right. If done correctly when you load the save you'll now be female and when you launch the suicide mission the romance will still play out with the female you were romancing before you changed your shep's gender. The down side is that your femshep will be mute during the final conversation....subtitles and the dialogue wheel will pop up as they should but femshep won't be talking as no dialogue was recorded for her to romance any of the females.....and you may encouter problems if you try to import this into ME3.
Thanks for the response! This sounds like too much of a pain! I think I'll pass lol! But if it's not too much trouble do you have a good color for green eyes I can't get it right in the values!

What shade of green are you looking for....dark?....light?
The most obvious starting point is to set R=0, G=1 & B=0 and then change the brightness by ingreasing or decreaing the value of G which incidentally stands for green.

I don't know....I don't have a PS3 and I'm guessing you do. Can you put your not locked saves onto a USB flash drive?

we can hit the triangle button on a save and three options are "information, deleat, and copy" and from what i saw u just copy onto a flashdrive or another location on ur ps3
So I'm guessing the flashdrive is configured for use on the PS3 yes? If that's the case you'll need soome kind of software similar to but not USB-XTAF, Modio or Xport360....something that can read a USB configured for the PS3 that would allow you to find the individual saves on your USB and copy/paste/delete them from it without damage to anything else stored on it. If that is possible then you'd be able to move your saves onto your PC and back to your console and hopefully remain functional. Is there any software or program that can do this for you?

I'm just looking for the values of the green that you can select in the character customization, thanks for the advice

well there are usb ports...........idk im not a techie kind a dude.

Looks easy enough....it seems(if I didn't miss anything) like the USB isn't configured for the PS3 specifically and the PC can read and find the files just fine.....assuming that the ME2 saves aren't locked you ought to be able to get them onto the dashboard and back on the PS3 just fine which is one obstacle down. It also looks like saves aren't locked to a certain gamer profile which would make life easy assuming this is true for ME2 saves as well.
Now if things remain similar to the PC and 360 which they probably will the save you get onto the PC dashboard is actually a character save.....which is to say it's actually a folder containing all the individual manal saves for that character than a save itself and it'll probably be called something like Name_34_Infiltrator_150211 and there isn't much you can do with this unless you have a sofware that can read the files inside.....your individual saves. This has to be a program or a software similar to Modio or Le-Fluffie but one that works with PS3 saves of ME2. You need to be able to take out and put back in individual saves(named something along the lines of Save_0001.xbsav). If you can get these individual saves onto your dashboard then you'll be very close to being able to mod.
Does the PS3 demo of ME2 allow you to save? Can you try to play with it....see if you can copy saves, find them on your USB using your PC, get them on your dashboard and so on?

but th question remains...... if i were to get my save on my pc, would i be able to use gibbid's o rwould i need something else?
if you can get the individual saves out of it as I described in my post above.....the ones named along the lines Save_0005.xbsav(or perhaps Save_0005.ps3sav) then Gibbed could probably be adapted to read and mod them though you wouldn't be able to use it as it is now. Gibbed's was originally made for PC saves but some 360 gamers managed to adapt it so it'd work on 360 saves just the same. This may be possible if you can get to your individual save files....though I'm not making any promises ahead of time.

no u cant save on the demo. as i said i dont know much about computers. i do not know how the xbox or PC saves really work but as is with many if not all ps3 saves, ill use dragon age as an exaple, it is not as you say. all saves for all chars are listed in a big row so warden #1's individual saves one by one in order then warden #2's and so on.
This is true for the 360 as well but that is because Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 use very different save systems.

i'm actually posting this from my PS3 internet browser an i just tried copying some saves onto a flash drive and on some games it works fine and on others like dragon age, it does not.
The ones it doesn't work for have the saves locked the ones it does work for don't have the saves unlocked.

I would put the mod files on my 360 but don't want my console banned.

Many games from EA are like that, they go overboard with security, you can't even copy saves from the 360 you have to move the save instead. If DA didn't work I'm guessing that ME2 won't either, still a fun game even without mods though.

is there a way to get around locked saves?
Doesn't matter. PS3 saves are encrypted, and there is not software (yet) to decrypt it.

Are you talking about modding your saves like what most people are doing here? There is no way to get banned by doing what is described in this thread. Microsoft cannot detect modded saves for singleplayer games.
