And before anyone tells me "you should have bought it on a diff system", I have ME1/2 on every platform... question stands.

Sorry, I'm not sure where modding on the PS3 stands.

Modding on the PS3 is more like modding the PC I think than the 360. You can actually get at the Coalesced files on PS3 (I think) if you know the procedure. We can only mod saved games on the xbox and we do that with either a hex editor or Gibbed's saved game editor. Hair is always done on the 360 with Gibbed's editor so unless that editor has been modded to work with the PS3 (has that been done? Is it even possible?) I would have no idea what to suggest except that the PC people on this board might know more about your question than us.
You might also want to try to find an online PS3 modding forum. Here is a thread where some mods are being discussed in case this helps at all.

I haven't been here in a while, has anyone figured out how to do anything new?
The last new thing I remember was Spartas expanded on NuTitan's screen shot and found the hex fields to control biotic and tech cooldowns and lots of the other upgrades too - a great find. Anything with new textures, armor colors, npc outfits, accessories, that sort of thing.
Holy cow, really? I haven't been here in near 6 months, I've not had my XBOX with me. Anything else worthy of mention?

off topic here half sleepy half drunk.... rent or buy crysis2... totally wrhth it. MAN havn't had a good shotr game this lng in agess!!! finally a shooter that is decen and nearly 10 hrs long!!! wooooooooooooooooooooot
I liked Crysis 2 - good game, I played it infiltrator style with cloak and the sniper rifle. I wish it wasn't first person though, the whole game is based around this super suit yet the only place you get a really good look at yourself is on the box cover - even the cut scenes are first person. I would have liked it Rainbow Six style better where it is first person until you take cover then it switches to third. Good game though I need to replay and expand my tactics as I didn't tank much nor did I kick cars and the like at people.

For instance I know you have the revenant with 80 charges and 420 reserve. You can make the 420 go to 99,999 but I dont think you can make the 80 go higher. If you did it by acciden try to think if it was indeed the clip or the reserve clips. But if indeed is such then try to think even harder to let me know how it was done

Well in gibbed or in hex editing you can increase the amount of total ammo reserve. But no size of clip. At least not that I am aware of.

I think I did the reverse clips since when it showed up on screen it was in reverse, that doesn't really matter though cause it made it so I didn't have to reload which is pretty cool. The only thing that was wrong with it was that it went away after the mission was over, do you know a permanent way to keep it on reverse? I was just trying to get it so that I dont' have to reload constantly with the mattock, but I guess I could settle for no reload at all hahaha

Now how to do it. Is in the hex editing, all instructions are on the first page. Follow the icons, and find the ammo box... not sure if its listed in the main page though. I'll try to find the box that contains rifle ammo for you. meanwhile learn how to hex edit, but dont be discourage its a bit complicated to look at but quite simple if you follow the steps.
Basically you find the box with the ammo count and you make it HUGE.
PS; numbers in hex edit dont work the same way. Example, there are letters and numbers. 01-09 are normal, but the number ten is actually the digits A0 in hex digit. So give it a go and you'll be fine. hex edit is the way to go right now.

Only assault rifle type thing that it's "easy" to get effectively infinite ammo for is the collector particle beam - very rough analagy there, but fits the bill for adepts early in the game.
To get this, change the heavy weapon "ammo used" to -999999 in gibbeds save editor.
EDIT: Easy is relative here. I would suggest you try hex editting as you can get some good results with this and while it can look a bit overwhelming, once you've given it a go it does get easier.

Well. With the way I know of. You still have to reload everytime the clip expires. That will not change. But you pretty much have near infite ammo because you have so much you'll probably wont run out in a single playthrough.

I didn't know you could hex edit ammo? I've only used it for upgrades and biotic duration, getting rid of cooldown. I use gibbed for ammo, I just set it to 99999999 or something crazy like that. I never run out, but with the mattock's 16 round clip I have to reload alot, it's not a big deal, just wondering if there was a way to change it. Whats the difference from hex editing ur ammo and using gibbed to do it? any difference at all?

Actually from what I gather no difference between both really. But for ME. and this is just likely an isolated anomaly within the game. For me the Gibbed editor "Ammo" count is only valid until I return to the normandy then for me it reverts back to normal for some reason. You I gather it does not happen, but only way for me to stay in above thousands of reserve charges range is through hex editing. So no there is no difference in theory... and for the vast majority including you... no.
Reloading... unfortunately nothing to be done there. Until now I do not believe as Mark has reinforced, that there is a way to inrease the actual Clip size.

This all assumes of course my PC can run the game at anything like optimal settings, which I'm not sure it can.
