3) rename the copie like you need it to be me it was

original: Jaine_32_Adept_040411

renamed copie: Jaine_32_Adept_210411

if its a soldier: Jaine_32_Soldier_210411

<snip>

Glad to hear the new character works well.

How does the career description show up on the console if you rename as above Adept  to Soldier?  My guess was the file name doesn't change the description on the console (when you are choosing a new career).  In Modio under Gen Info->Details tab it shows File Details which is the string me2 shows for career descriptions I think---but it doesn't allow changing the string.

Is there a tool already available to change this File Details? (And therefore the description in me2)

Sorry if this has been asked before. I just downloaded the new version of Gibbed. I'm confused on the new player function. Since it only makes a save that you name, how do you get it to work on your console? Modio won't open it so you can't rehash/resign, Theres no original save to import it into like when you pull one of the console. What do I need to do for it to be playable? How do I get it onto my console. I use a USB btw, don't know if that makes a difference.

i dont realy understand what your saing but the new gibbed work exactly like the old one you open a save that look like this "Save_0013.xbsav" you edit it then save it in the same format then you put it back in the player profil in modio then reash resign

Right thats how you edit a save from your xbox. But I'm talking about a new save. You know at the top left corner of gibbed where it says new. That never worked for xbox on the old gibbed, now it's supposed to be able to. I'm assuming that means you can create new careers from Gibbed. When I use that though it only creates a save that looks like "save_001.xbsav" but theres no player profile to put it into so you can rehash/resign and get it onto your console. So my question is how do you get a save you made in gibbed onto your console? Sorry if I wasn't clearer, but that was my question.

ok i totally did not get that in fact i did not even know you could do that il try it out and see if i can figure it out

EDIT: ok what you have to do after creating your new save is:

1) you need an existing player profil name date or class doesnt matter

2) make a copie of it thats the one youl need

3) rename the copie like you need it to be me it was

original: Jaine_32_Adept_040411

renamed copie: Jaine_32_Adept_210411

if its a soldier: Jaine_32_Soldier_210411

you get te point

4) open the renamed copie in modio then delet all the game save you dont want personally i kept the auto save and the mission start save that were already there just to be sure

5) inject your created save file

6) reash resign

7) put it in you usb drive then load it in game

8) enjoyPosted Image

I think I'm still doing something wrong. I did what you said and I was able to get the save I created onto my xbox. The problem is when I go to load the save, nothing happens. The game doesn't freeze or anything, but I click on the save and it just sits there. I can still go and select other saves and they will load, but when I click on the one I made, nothing happens at all. Did u edit the save you made on urs at all? I did thats why I'm asking, I was trying to have a shepard thats suped up from the very start. Oh and somehow there were duplicates of both my original save and the one I created, two of each.I'm really confused now lol.

[*]Having no biotic cooldowns is just really fun, being able to see a group of enemies, Area reave them to strip protection, singularity, Pull them,  and then use a Throw Field and mop up anyone left alive by Slamming them :) I've never had so much fun, it feels like ME1's adept again  :) :):happy::happy:

Another question. How can I make the Revenant/Widow/Claymore accessible to squadmates?

Yeah, no cooldowns for biotics is especially fun, the pull then immediately warp/throw move never gets old.

I also found having super long tech duration to be pretty funny when you hack a Fenris mech and then it follows you around like a pet dog through the level attacking everyone for a few minutes.

The only thing that is still missing is a no cooldown concussive blast but I don't think there is a hex location for that cooldown - too bad.

Paste the code of which ever weapon you want them to have over one of their available weapons in Gibbed. Expand henchmen and then go from there to their loadout section.

i only modified the origin(earthborn war hero) and imported a face morph so you should try doing only that then open it in game then make a new save and then edit the rest

PS: some thing cannot be modified atb of the game without risking bugging the save but after the horizon mission you can do pretimuch anything

Thanx for the new version! I can't wait to create the ultimate Vanguard and mess with her abilities. Now I just need to get Miranda's outfit on my sexy femshep! (If ONLY we could!)

Yeah, that would be nice...but I've heard Miri was designed special in a lot of ways...so I don't have much hope on the console :(

Thanks.  I think I have it figured out now.  In careers listing it reads Name and class from the career, and it interprets Origin, Notoriety, and date from the filename.  Within a career it reads the name from the latest or highest (I haven't checked which) save.  I'm making a small tool to change what I need. Thanks again.

Yeah but that doesn't make those weapons available on their inventories, so if I ever pick up another weapon it will reset everything and I'll have to edit again.

Easiest way to avoid this is where possible overwrite pistol after Mordins recruitment and Assault rifle after Archangel - you don't pick up any new versions of these in the game (OK, geth pulse rifle, but if you've picked it up before, you won't get it again).

Is there no way to make it available for squadmates permanently? I know those weapons can be added to the squadmates' inventories, I've seen it for PC.

As far as I'm aware this can't be done on the xbox version as the information relating to it is not stored in the save, only the current weapon loadout for the squadmates can be changed.

It's not really that much trouble, give Miranda a mini-gun over her SMG and the Widow over her pistol and then who cares about changing! Now we're talking "perfect woman".

I guess I 'll do that then. Thanks for the help.

Anyone know if this will cause any issues for Mass Effect 3 Import( nothing in the save is modded). Used the Editor just for Resources & ME 1 Decisions(Since I lost my ME 1 Saves).

Play one Character to a Certain Point(Say right after Horizon) than copy that save to multiple Character Profiles(Just change the Character Name in the .xbsav file).

This way I don't have to Play Mass Effect 2 Multiple times just to get different Romances.

If you can import the save into ME2 as a NG+, I'd suggest that ME3 should be OK. The most likely issue would be appearance mods so I'd keep a few generic headmorphs available so you can revert the saves to an acceptable appearance.
As far as talents, weapons training, etc - I doubt these will be carried over as the skill/talent/weapon system is going to change.

I found some helpful info from PC version that has Claymore and Widow unlock switched from Nu Titan's locations. Has anyone tried this to confirm Nu Titans Claymore (+1748) and Widow (+1744) are either correct or swapped?

P.S.  Javier.  Try setting integer variable #448 to 1, and check out your upgrades on a terminal. (I'll have this easily accessible in another update soon.)

I haven't confirmed it myself but I think someone did mention something about it a while ago, IIRC.

In the Player->Skills tab: Misc IntVariables
Try setting integer variable #448 to 1

(Or in raw tab->me2 plot -> IntVariables---same thing.)

I haven't tried, but it's listed too!  Should be int #433. (Look for Tec_QuarianShields)

For those interested, I'm cross-referencing PC_Tweaks with the bin/me2_plot_variables.csv file from XanderChaos' Gibbed source posted in the Se7ensins forum.

I'm working on adding what I can, and fixing descriptions of things.  I hope to have a new release sometime this week.

Hey Pordis, is there anyway to give squadmates extra abilities?
