Quite right.  I was thinking only of the ME1 table.  Thanks for the correction.

[btw I've been meaning to look at your conversion tool.  This gave me the incentive to create an account and check it out.  It looks very interesting.  Thanks.]

I've glanced through the OP and it's quite a lot to take in.

So, can you add ME1 choices to a new ME2 character? I've lost my saves and I'm pretty cheesed off.

So do you just make a new ME2 char, save when you wake up in the med bay. Then, move save to usb flash drive, put in PC, make plot choices from ME1, save, put back on flash drive and move back to ME2 folder on xbox?

Please excuse me if this has been answered in the last 117 pages or whatever.

The me1 plot choices only take effect on game import.  See this post of Mark B

you sure about that i was led to believe that it was only true if you make change after leaving the medical station and if you make them before the game will consider them

Epic Legion made an online tool (check his sig on the previous page here) plus Epic was kind enough to give me his me2 plot table for my modified editor here.  I plugged his changes in, but I've not had a lot of time to make sure I didn't mess up something.

Maybe Should worded it differently. Is their a way to Alter your Mass Effect 2 Decisions(that you already made in the game)?

Thanks for the Editor, One thing I did notice in your Editor you have [Garrus] Recuited listed twice.

I am under the impression Epic Legion's me2 table does make immediate changes.  Maybe double check in his forum.  I literally just pasted in his fixes and haven't had a chance to test it.  Possibly I did something wrong if they aren't working. His online tool has been well tested on these.  Unless I am still misunderstanding you.

Thank you.  I'll look into it.

Someone was talking about skipping directly to the Collector ship.  Maybe you could do something similar?  Let me see if I can find it...  Gaaah!  Did I just make that up?  Or was it in a different forum???
I must be going crazy.  If I find what I was remembering I'll let you know.

Not sure if it's your tool or Epic ME 2 Table. When I import my Save, It Some how lists Conrad Verner as Met him, Paragon & Renegade Choices  (Which I Know is a Bug from ME 1). It also lists not meeting him at all. However I met Conrad on Illium &  helped him with the Fake Cop at the Weapons Store.

a Little More Information.

I Used a NG+ with Gibbed (Orignal Tool) & checked both Met Conrad & Charmed Him.

I guess I'm a little Paranoid about Importing for Mass Effect 3. If Conrad Showed up in My Mass Effect 2 Game I should be fine.

Yes you will be fine, somehow I doubt that ME3 will even import Conrad flags from ME1.

Unless Legion, or Pordis' new tools allow this then I think the answer is no.  The game always seems to know what has and hasn't been done in terms of progression even when you alter the save to say otherwise.  So if you were to recruit Jack and then uncheck her aquired and recruited boxes in Gibbed her recruitment mission would re-appear on the galaxy map but when you arrived to do it again it won't trigger properly.  You will walk up to the Blue Sun's guy but the cut scene that starts the mission won't play.

You can get away with bringing some characters to their own recruitment missions without problems - I know I brought Legion to get Legion once and other people have done others too.

You can also do some strange things by changing location numbers in Gibbed but that is more along the lines of skipping things as opposed to replaying them.  I know you can do the suicide mission at any time in the game by changing the location numbers in Gibbed from whatever they are in your game to the appropriate Suicide Mission numbers.  Even if you have no one recruited a message will appear on screen telling you that you don't have enough game progress for the mission but you can continue with either a "best case scenario outcome" or a "worst case outcome" by hitting A or B.  The game's best case scenario oddly enough has Morinth instead of Samara.  I never played through the worst case scenario so I don't know who dies where and I would assume Shep dies too.

If the me2 table is acting strangely, use Epic Legions tool. (Check his sig above.) As I stated, Epic was kind enough to give me the table, but I literally just plugged it in and I haven't had any chance to test it myself. I may very well have introduced an error. (I haven't had any time to do any in-game testing for a while...and it will be a while before I can.)

His tool seems to be well tested by others. It is simple to use. If you get different results from his tool, please report them back---so I can warn others.

There are all the quest progress info and such that I haven't played around with... maybe something in there would let you do what you want. (It *must* be triggered by *something* in the save file.)  btw.. what exactly are you wanting to do that a simple reload of the save wouldn't solve?

<snip>

Yeah, I played around with one where I had Legion pretty much the whole game.  It was funny to take him to the council meeting...they called him my "pet AI" or some such.  I was kinda hilarious on his recruitment mission to watch him help me drag (a missing himself) to the sr2 as we left.  But some things did glitch on me in that game, as I recall.

I saw all those quest progress fields in your editor and was wondering what could be done with them - that looks interesting.  All the old version of Gibbed could do was uncheck things like "aquired", "selectable", "in squad" , "is loyal" etc. and none of those would fully undo (so you could replay) a completed mission - the game always knew you had done it already - but maybe playing around with those new fields will work.

I was wondering why he wanted to replay at first too, but I bet he forgot to pick something up on a mission or wants to change a choice but doesn't have a save that will allow him to get back to start again.

I missed the salarian family data in Thane's recruitment mission, but I didn't realize until a few missions afterwards so I did not have a save I could reload. I noticed the quest progress data in the editor as well but I'm a bit hesitant to play around with them not knowing what they do. I was hoping someone had tried experimenting with already and could share some insight. Thanks for the responds regardless.

Sorry I've never played with them---they just seemed related to the game progression.  If there is anything that is in there read-only that someone wants to play around with---let me know, and I'll see about unlocking them.

I thought as much. I can be a bit Paranoid about my Saves working correctly. Even if the Saves don't work I expect someone will make a Save Editor again for PC & 360, Once Mass Effect 3 is released.

Thanks for the Editor, One thing I did notice in your Editor you have [Garrus] Recuited listed twice.

The Garrus Issue I comment earlier. It should be as follows

[Garrus] Recuited
[Garrus] Recuited Again

Atlease thats How the Other Mass Effect 2 Plot Table Has it listed as.

------------------

On a Side note What Affect does [Garrus] Paragon (C-Sec)

have on the game? Only thing I ever recall him saying about C-Sec was he Tried to Return, their was to much Red-Tape(or something like that). Other than that Nothing.

I loved inputting integer #433 (Quarian shield upgrade) into a save game: it gave me +25% shields, plus a great little blurb in the upgrade screen. Are there any other great upgrades out there, and where can I find out what they are? [playing on 360]

- Renegade Garrus tried to join the spectres

Anyone know how to remove squad mates weapons? If you look at the post right before this you'll know why I'm asking. I've tried putting "mispelled" weapon codes and deleting the weapon codes but no luck.

Hmmm, I guess there is something else I'm not remembering.

Edit:

You're doing something incorrectly, or maybe the word I used is the key, but I just put the word "none" in all 6 fields of my squad's weapon's loadout and they both (jack and kasumi) have their arms out with no guns now.

I can't figure this out at all. I did like you did and put none in all of the  weapon fields but still no luck, the only thing that happens is that my squads weapons change to the lowest possible versions. i.e. avenger instead of mattock, manits instead of incisor. I can't get the weapons to go away though.

Migg, try spelling none with all lower case letters - I definitely didn't have a cap at the beginning. I think that might do it. I chose the word none because I've seen the game autofill the field with that word in all lower case letters all on it's own before. I didn't think what word was in the field would matter but I guess it does. Let me know if that works or not for you.

Edit: I was on Korlus with Kasumi and Jack  and it worked the first time for both of them.

Can someone help me with removing heavy weapons? I've tried to do it like it says on the first page but every time I remove the heavy weapon from the Loadout and Weapons fields nothing happens, I still get a Grenade Launcher.

I'm sure others can respond more authoritatively, but I'm playing me/me2 on another's xbox with a gamertag not tied to any dlc or even a live account---and I still have access (on his xbox anyway) to all the dlc.  So I think *a gamertag* needs to be tied to the dlc, but not the one you are playing as.

I believe it was suggested some time ago in this forum, that one option to avoid any live account problems and modding would be to create a new private gamertag to use for the modded play.
