 Hey Guys,

Sorry I'm new to this and I had a question.

I copied all my ME1 saves onto my USB but when I go to the PC I don't see those files. And Modio doesn't show anything either. It says no device found.

Help?

You have to click on OPEN FROM A DEVICE, not Explore a device. Then look for an icon in the upper left. Poke around a bit and get back to us :)

Also, the files won't be just waiting there for you see like a normal flash drive. You need to open it through Modio

Save editor for ME1 doesn't exist, but it is possible to modify simple things like XP or credits.

Tried it few days ago and I can confirm that it does work.

Hey, I'm sorry if these questions have already been asked and answered, but I couldn't find them throughout the post yet. Would it be possible to change my Shep's body model to that of another character's? For example, Zaeed's body? Also, is it possible to acquire all the casual outfits by using the editor? Again, I'm sorry if its been asked before, but I couldn't find it.

I don't believe so, as you can only modify your Shepard's face on the Xbox 360. Modifying anything other than that save game itself is reserved for the PC edition.

What have you tried? I think I've only tried the mini-gun once and just put it in the Loadout, but maybe it has to be in the weapons collection also.  I'll look for the specific post for the mini-gun.
[edit: It looks like maybe Javier missed the code for the mini-gun.  It goes with assault weapons and it's code is:
SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_MiniGun  See Javier's google docs last section under weapons, ammo.. for how to alter weapon loading]

TIMs eyes are well covered in the OP under the Hub link near the end pointing to Javier's google docs instructions.
Have you tried following it?

So you have TIMs eyes but just want to change colours?  What do you have for colours?  What is it you want?

And you want more of a light grey?   Look at the EYE_White_Colour_Vector (maybe they are all around 0.8 or so?) and set the RGB values a little darker that the EYE_White  (in the case above maybe try 0.65).  I haven't done this a lot so for me it's kind of trial and error.  I hope to be adding some colour picking to Gibbed soon, so it won't be so hard.

Some of the faces on http://www.masseffect2faces.com have TIMs eyes and give the colours they used.  (Note: if they don't specify RGB order, they are probably giving you BGR order---as this is what original Gibbed had.)

[Edit: Lemme see if I can find where I saw TIM's colours]  Not seeing it atm.  I think the Paragon/Renegade of shep affects the eye colour you end up with also.  I'm not very good with colours---so I probably can't help much here.  Some people do use values like RGB=[1.37, 1.37, 1.7] here, but I think they were just after a blue look.

Ok, so I've been reading up on moding savegames on xbox but I just can't find out if you can enable early recruitment missions. I've done it before in PC with the Gibbed editor and I was wondering if you can do the same thing with xbox saves to be able to, say, recruit Tali before Horizon. Can it be done?

Same process as for pc.  See this post by davidshooter a couple pages back.  I'm not sure of all the limitations on which squadmates you can recruit when.  Some are problematic on certain missions from what I understand.

To emphasize: you should be able to do anything on xbox you do on pc except pc mods requiring coalesced editing or adding override files or texmod.  Anything only involving editing the save file should be the same.

The post Pordis linked too has most of what you need to know but there are a few other things to keep in mind.

-You don't want to actually "recruit" the squadmate early - that can mess up game progression relating to Horizon and the collector ship.  You just want to just "use" them early so just check the is selectable box in Gibbed (nothing else).  Doing their actual mission early will mess up progression.

-When you decide you actually want to do the recruitment mission of the disc 2 squadmate you are using early  (do this only after Horizon triggers not before) you will need to uncheck the "is selectable" box and the 'aquired" box if the game checked it.  This will make their missions appear on the galaxy map again and you can go and get them.

-Using this method won't interfere with the game triggering Horizon or the Collector ship or any other progression issues, most other methods will.

-The "is selectable" squadmate will also be in their spot on the ship but I always found it best not to talk to them just to be safe - although I think people reported that even having them give you their loyaly missions didn't screw anything up provided you didn't try to do the loyalty mission.

Much appreciated guys. The thing is I still want the story to make sense continuity wise, instead of just having certain characters pop up before I actually meet them and then disappearing just the same. Otherwise it's just going to be wrong. I'll see how I'm going to make it work without screwing the game up. When I did it on PC I managed to recruit Tali by doing Haestrom and then I did Horizon with her in the party and everytnig worked beautifully.

I just used the savegame editor to check the Miranda and Jacob alternate flags so I can trigger Haestrom, as indicated in this thread social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/105/index/1585456 .

After getting Tali I just unchecked those two flags so that the game would get back to it's original state and that Horizon could trigger. Afterwords the game journal had logged that Haestrom was completed, I had Tali and was able to continue playing the game perfectly well.

That was on PC anyway. Assuming that it would be the same on xbox I'll try the same thing again. If anything goes wrong I'll just do what you guys suggested instead. Thanks.

That method can definitely work, but it can also get buggy as some of the response posts in that old thread highlight - it doesn't seem to always work out.  Also, Tali is the most stable of the later recruits - she even has dialogue on Horizon whereas Thane and Samara don't.

It sounds like it's the best method for what you want though and if you've done it before and it worked  for you I don't see why it wouldn't work out the same on the xbox as it did on the PC.

Does posting face codes in Gibbs work? I seem to be having a problem with it. I go to player: appearance, find the old code, post in the new one, save, go through all the necessary steps, then load, but when I get in game my face is always the same. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated.

No.  Gibbed doesn't read the face codes.  It just displays the code you see in the console menu.  To get a facecode start a new game, enter the face code (and any tweaks you like), then save game when Miri is telling you to wake up.  Open that save game in Gibbed and export the headmorph to your pc. (You can use a descriptive name, just try to keep the file extension the default.)  You can import this headmorph into any save game.

I think the OP is a little mis-leading.  I think Javier intended to say enter face code into Game Editor ,  not Gibbed Editor. (I'll pm him on the confusion.)

I can't see where right now, but I'm sure Epic Legion posted somewhere on here that there is paragon dialog from Conrad if you had paragon responses to him in me1.  IIRC a bug in the game me1->me2 import set the flags so all you got was some renegade response.  I'm sure a little googling will turn up some info.  btw this is Epic Legion's fix, he was kind enough to give to me for this editor.

what does the dev Mini Gun look like

SFXWeapon_MiniGun Secret Dev weapon: looks like the Revenant, but acts like a mini gun, has a 10,000 round clip
I personally only tried it once and don't remember that much about it.

What joke?  Just the facts. :innocent::lol:
