Pordis' amazing update to Gibbed's Editor has seen the rebirth of my original ME Adept Shepard. The ability to simply unlock weapon proficiencies for Shepard means my Adept Shep can run around with both the Revenant and Widow on his back. Amazing! Thanks Pordis. ;)

Now, to my question. Is there a similar means to unlock weapon group proficiencies for henchmen? I would actually use Jacob, for instance, if he were able to equip Assault Riles. As it is, there's little to recommend him over Zaeed, Garrus or Grunt. The same could be said for Jack. Crappy proficiencies limit their use.

I know I can simply 'overwrite' one of his existing weapons, but is it possible to unlock proficiency in an entire group for squaddies? Thanks in advance for your answers. My search attempts have yielded little aid.


This is simple with C.ini modding; are you on the PC, or a console?

np.  This is the only link I've looked at regarding me1 modding, but I haven't actually tried it, so can't confirm it.

EDIT: man it worked great thanks a lot will make my new mass effect 1 play through much more enjoyable

Could I get unlimited ammo in the claymore? would be nice to not have to reload after every shot

well you can have almost unlimited ammo but i doupt you can change the number of ammo in the clip itself i think you can only change the total ammo count

i cant say about fuel never bothered me so i never tried to edit it

revenent is the machine gun from the collecter ship right check the op there is a section were he explane how to switch weapon tru gibbed its prety simple you have to replace one of the weapon he as by the revenent





every one support same sexe romance and elevator for mass effect 3 its not to late
also we need an extreme collector edition with lot of stuf

Is there any way at all to unlock Normandy upgrades? I've looked through the Gibbed, and can't find anything relating to it. Maybe I'm just blind if Normandy upgrades are there.

I wanted to give the illusive mens eyes to shepherd but I don't know why but on the morph head tab I can't enter anything. I went to export my morph head and didn't work. What is the problem i'm having ?

See 3 lines above it says "Has morph head:  False".  That means you are using sheploo.  To customise the features you need to have a custom head.   Either copy from another save that has a custom head, or start a ng, create a custom shep, and when Miranda wakes you up, save game and export that headmorph.

I don't recall off-hand if any of the normandy upgrades are available or not.  They would be these described in the PC Tweaks wiki.

you could just give yourself resource then buy them

And you can mod fuel and probes as well. If you recruit all your squadmates, as you probably should, then modding the upgrades is functionally useless, especially when you consider that they're a mere elevator ride and line of dialogue away xD

Sorry to bother you guys again but can someone who isn't as dumb as me help me out again ?
I tried to edit the weapons though i'm confused even after following that tutorial on the 1st page.

Here's a screenshot and a side by side view of loadout and weapon collection.

The shotgun isn't showing up and instead of the Cain I got the missile launcher which is weird.
I picked 5 weapons but I can only see 4. Usually it's from left to right on the weapons menu in-game left is pistol next to it is shotgun in middle assault rifle right sniper and all the way right is a heavy weapon but it only shows up 4 (assault rifle in middle, missile launcher all the way left, sniper 2nd to left and pistol 4th right to the assault rifle). Shotgun isn't showing up strangely and instead of M920 Cain I got a missile launcher with only 10 ammos and if you look at the screenshot i specifically entered the Cain code for it.

Looking at the pictue I took above with side by side screenshots....what am I doing wrong ?
Can someone do the correct order for me that includes the M-97 Viper sniper rifle, M-76 Revenant assault rifle and the M-920 Cain heavy weapon ? I read the tut it said with heavy weapons enter a negative instead of 999 do -999.

Please help me out guys I've been busy trying to do it right for 3 hours to the point i'm so frustrated i'm giving up on this.

Not done a lot of weapon modding and rushing out, but here are a couple weapon mod posts you can try to see if they work: here and here.

Another thought, you said you followed Javier's tutorial...did you enable the weapon training for shotgun and other weapons?  If your shep can't carry them maybe the game is resetting them? (See Javier's post also).

probably is the second thing you said but weapon modding is strange its easy to end up with a weard loadout for no aparent reason

Sorry, I don't know anything about the ps3, but I seem to recall someone saying there are issues with getting games off (encryption or something like that IIRC).  So AFAIK there isn't any support until the more basic issues with the platform are resolved.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a really dumb question. Can I use this to edit the facial structure / makeup / hair color of my sheperd in game? Also I am talking about ME1 on the PC version. I have looked around and asked and was sent to this thread. Basically I do not want to start a new game and just feel like it would be cool to change some things on my femshep, such as you can do when you first start a new game.

Thanks for any help or answer you can provide.

if i understand you you want to mod your me 1 pc save
this is the me2 xbox mod tread your not at the right place sorry also
about modding me 1 i only know how to do some ex editing so im sry cant help you but good luck in finding what your looking for
if your talking about me 2 and i didnt understand the answer to you question is yes you can do these things with gibbed

think your right on that i remember people talking about ps3 save editing and saying some thing about sony save being very unfriendly to modder weerd encription and things like that

I don't know of any editors for me1.  This will work for either xbox or pc, but only for me2 game saves.

When you add Sheploo's face textures to your character how can you make it so the face and body are the same skin tone?

Sheploo's textures accentuate color a lot so you have to go for a lighter skin tone when creating a character, but afterwards he looks like he got his head stuck in a tanning bed while the rest of his body was deprived of sunlight for years.

http://social.biowar...m/project/4871/ I found CombatSnicker's Shepard and decided to try out the face textures. It works well except that, as mentioned in the procedure, Sheploo's face textures stress color so when creating a new Shepard you have to choose a lighter skin tone to get the desired facial skin tone.
