Don't give up. :)

I was looking at your previous link, and I was not able to view it.  Are you sure you have it viewable by anyone with the link?  Try editting you last post with the link, and I'll help you troubleshoot it.

Edit:  Yay!  Cool shep.  What's his name again?

And to make it on topic for this forum... what did you do with the textures?

Dominic Shepard. I used the Sheploo textures via the Gibbed editor. Thanks again for all your help. :)

Could anyone tell me how to use the accessory meshes? I'm sure the question has been asked before, but I really don't want to scour through 140 pages looking for the post.

Damn. Well if anybody at any point gets them working, or if they do and it's just difficult to do, I'd appreciate help.

hello. wanted to ask you brainies something. Started modding ME1. but I forgot ME1 didn't have the ID option to type in the code for your shep's face. I manage to make the face I was comfortable with in ME2. I got the code... but thats about it. I dont really know if there is a way to put it in ME1. tried copying it as close as I could but they all come up ....weird. Or maybe the options are better in ME2 do not know.

Try the code converter in this project.  This might also be of interest, but it's geared more to me1->me2 mapping.

I've not had good luck with them, and I'm not sure putting things into the accessories spot in Gibbed works right.  I used the head morphs from this project, and everything works right except on xbox the cap texture is wrong...I didn't get the colouring or N7, just some weird cream hexagonal thing.  But you can look at the headmorphs in Gibbed to see exactly what they did.

Oh and btw, it works perfectly on pc, so I didn't copy things wrong.

quick question regarding ME1 not really modding but yeah. If I make a new character WITHOUT assault rifle training. When that character gets the specter leve X gear wold that rifle be more or less accurate enough?.

I ask because I am modding a sentinel in ME1, and I'm giving him the warp ability to make him like ME2. But without assault rifle training he looks like he is firing a musket. But if I eventually get the specter gear would that rifle be accuratew on its own or still it would be only accurate against a dreadnought?

for the assault rifle i could not say but if oyu have the rich achievment i cant remember the name its the one you have to be very rich to get the specter gear are already unlocked atb of the game

tims eye mmmmm let me think i dont think soPosted Image

for the face code do like i did next time you put all the slider to 0 wich is 1 i think would have to check to be sure then you slide it will counting 1123456789abcdef... until you get to the one in your face code just be carefull though cause me 1 as a scar slider wich doesnt exist in me2 so you have to skip it or everyting is wrong from that point

Mmm the thing was right on target. And it tells ya the names of each.

I'm making Sentinel with warp ability in Bonus ability. Although the bonus abilities dont get bonuses from the class tree. I haven't found anything that says they dont get bonuses from Omni tools and bio amps.

I modded my lv still and going around finding the money part in hex. If I do I'll be lv 60 with 9 mill creds right after getting to the citadel for the first time. Only thing I am still worried is whether I can mod the talent points :P. I dont want to pass the game 5+ times to fill up the intimidate charm bars.

Wish I could add Tim's eyes :P

Might have to start modding ME1 myself. Gets a little boring playing ME2 all those times in a row.

Yes you can. I modded 3 characters in ME1. All were level 60 with full talent points. I don't remember exactly how I did it though... I made those character over a year ago.

yep ur right zombie... is ****ing awesome!!!!!.... been trying to mod my pals talent points but is not a big deal they got enough. Too much is never enough but not gona bust my brains over it.

one question. The buy back glitch from merchants can anyone tell me if it only works on new careers?, I read that u got to trigger an autosave... but what kind? I went to a new planet triggered an autosave and in the other profile the items dont appear in the buy back menu. Tried in a hub world, going to my apartment and theng oing back to the normandy for an autosave.

Wana transfer some armor and weapons but I've never done the buy back glitch before so not sure what I am doing wrong.

Well I know that if you do Dr. Michel's quest on the Citadel, the one with the black mailer, she'll pay about twice the price of your items and you can buyback  your stuff extremely cheap. What you can do is sell your stuff to Expat the merchant in the Markets. Then go to Dr. Michel and buy it back for extremely cheap. Thats the only way I know if you do it correctly. It maybe a different way if I do it correctly. Idk if this is what your talking about but its the only thing I can think of.

I tried and downloaded the code converter and everytime I go to run the executable file to open install it or whatever it does it won't open. I downloaded the Java Runtime Enviorment but still nothing the file won't execute or open up rather. I have Windows so I tried downloading both versions but stil nothing. I would like to see if I can get this working before I go back to ME1.

Hmm. I only looked at this before there was a windows one, so never tried it. But the java one,  if it doesn't run by dbl-clicking you can try from a command prompt:  java -jar FacecodeConverter.jar

I just tried the java one, and it works fine on a linux box.  Should also on windows.

And you realise that after you run it, it only creates a file for you to read, correct?  I thought I modified it to display the output on the same panel...hmm.  I'll look around and see if I find that one, too.

Nah you two guys misunderstood me. I didn't explain it enough.

But yeah I found out its only with new careers.

Grab an old save with a guy who has a lot of armos that are good. Go to the normandy trader on the lower levels. Sell him 20 items in total that you wish to start a game with.

Go to a hub world, or a normal planet and land triggering an auto save.

Then start a new career, it cannot be one you already have it has to be created after the autosave triggers from the old career.

When in this new career you arrive back at the normandy you cna go to the normandy trader. In the buy back menu will be the items you sold in your old save.

Example: I grabbed my lv 60 soldiers sold 7 X armors, 7 specter weapons, 4 bio amps. 2 omni tools.

I started a new sentinel (again >.<). When I got back to the normandy I went to the buy back menu and all those armors where there for me to buy back.... except 2 armors which didn't carrry for somer eason.

The buy back glitch is not to make money, is to start a new career with some good stuff already so you dont have to find it later on... specially if they are rare.
