I should also clarify that it now seems to be that it is indeed auto saving, it's just flagging the autosave as having been played 2 hours earlier then the save file and the level restart save, which is why it was seeming like it wasnt(loading the level restart or my own save if available when I hit resume). Strange though even when I deleted everything but the auto save, then switched missions at the next auto save point it was still listed as 2 hours earlier then the mission restart save.

Sorry, I've been on this board for ages and have read virtually all of the posts here, but I don't recall this as being one of the issues ever mentioned before I'm afraid.

It was probably one of those fluky one in a million things, I've never had a problem with a gibber edited save before this either. As it hasnt occurred on any of my other 6 gsaves I'll just chalk it up to random garbage code, happens from time to time I guess.

I've made a few changed, changed my Infiltrator to have extra squad points, morality points, removed heavy weapons and gave myself the widow/claymore/revenant. These have worked in-game.

However, I have a question, as a couple of weird things happen: when I try to load the modded save, I hit A, and nothing happens. No error, and it doesn't load. Any ideas on why?

Second, I added extra bonus powers, neglected AI hacking, etc, and my Flashbang and Shield Boost didn't appear. What I tried changing today was giving AI Hacking and my class passive the wheel index numbers 8 and 9, hopefully making room for my other bonus powers. Any tips?

No idea about the loading issue.

Some time ago - page 100ish - we discussed how to add multiple loyalty powers.
What you have to do is add powers that don't appear on the wheel but map them to RB/LB/Y.  It's all detailed there, but if you can't find what you need there, come back and I'll see if I can recall what you need to do.

I think this is the post Mark B is referring to (item 3 in his response).  btw I think Javier covers it in his google docs tutorial as well (linked in the op).

About the loading, idk.  I have had strange things happen on occasion when a mod is messed up, or sometimes what I think happens is if a game save changes something that the game tries to auto load.  Usually that results in a corrupt career file for me though.  You can try loading a different career and then going back to the modded one.  I have sometimes found that to help.

Thanks for all the help so far, just a random question. If I decide to recruit Legion early (since he has some fun dialogue on certain missions will this screw up my game majorly? Will I jump into the suicide mission? Lose my crew?

I believe there are issues with this triggering plot points as you can only get Legion after the derelict Reaper and IIRC all of the second batch of recruits.

You can always try it by making a second save where you are in the game, modding Legion as recruited and then seeing what happens after a mission or 2 with him around.  If your crew gets grabbed you just revert to the unmodded save.

Thanks, I decided to risk it since I don't mind playing through again. After you get him one mission later Kelly tells you Legion wants to speak with you. I have ignored this request, still take him everywhere with me. (He is a chatty little Geth as far as battle cries and offhand comments and taking him with me to the Citidel was totally worth it.) Nothing buggy yet, but I haven't reached the Reaper IFF mission yet. As long as I ignore him I think all will be good though. Will mention it if I am wrong. :D

if i remember right the mission on the human colony were you enconter ash/kaidan (sry dont remember the name and avent played in monts) does not triger wen legion is unlocked and the mission were you find him doesnt work properly

Do read that forum I linked above.  I'm pretty sure they have worked out the kinks.  (And all except one of the hex edits is available in my Gibbed...that one is what I promised to work on, so I'll try to get to it soon.)

@Fleshdress  if you follow the editting of the forum, pls keep a copy of the save before/after each of the edits they recommend so I can check with the Gibbed changes (at least if you don't mind sending me the game saves--not the career file, just the individual saves).

@c3pu2  I'm pretty sure that forum tells how to handle problems, but I've not tried it myself, and it's been a while since I read it.

And yes, Legion's comments are totally worth it even if there are other problems.  I remember taking him once on his recruitment mission, and like you say on the Citadel.  The council and Anderson call him sheps cyber toy or something hilarious---I can't recall atm.

no i went on the quarian mission with legion(epic) what i meant is it is probably the only moment were i would realy have liked to se the quarian face literally without the helmet

Sorry I never checked in nothing went wrong, I kept him straight through and then just left him behind during the Reaper IFF mission and recruited him again which was silly cause Garrus and Tali were all "A talking Geth Run awayyyyy!!" Even though they had been on many missions with him lol. Wonder if I can take legion to recruit legion.

Still, nothing buggy for him, I did bug another playthrough though, added Tali early and then after I got her dossier it wouldn't let me "recruit" her. So I unchecked her with gibbed and went to get her again, my file corrupted and because I am an idiot I didn't have a proper save. So I will add Legion and Tali early again on this playthrough cause I really enjoy taking them with me, hopefully will remember to get Tali out of my party before Recieving the next three dossiers and I think it will work just fine. You just can't talk to them, at all. Where would you like me to make saves?

Yes you can take Legion on his recruitment mission.  The only think weird I recall is when carrying him to the ship, his body (that you are carrying) is missing.

I just meant if you follow the modding instruction in this forum I posted above then I would like to look at the game save before and after the suggested mods for the IFF mission.  iirc they suggest modding at 2 points.  One to keep from triggering the iff mission early, and a 2nd when you are about ready to trigger it.  If you don't follow their mods, then I don't need the saves.  Thanks for asking and offering either way.

Sorry, that's the part I'm supposed to be fixing... lol.  fwiw, the mission part is available in the raw tab somewhere, it's just the one edit of a flag (don't recall exactly now) that isn't available.  I just need to make sure I know how to locate them and make them easily available.  :/  Just got a lot of personal stuff going on right now, but thanks again.  When I get something ready to try do you mind if I pm you to ask about trying it?

The only info I have on what different values of the numbers should be are what ppl have posted in the forum, and the info from the pc tweaks pages.  You prob wanted more detail... maybe someone else knows what specific values do.

Okay can someone help me to remove the pistols' slots with Gibbed please? I've followed all the steps mentionned in the OP but i can't get rid of those damn pistols...I've deleted them from the "Loadout" section and the "Weapons" section but it didn't work. I can add all the weapons i want but i have trouble deleting the ones i don't need. Help please

Well no one is answering yet, so... I don't really play around with the weapons much, but David Shooter posted this about heavy weapons that might be of use.  I seem to recall that things can be a bit difficult to customise the loadout exactly like you want.  hth.  If not, maybe someone more experienced with the weapons can be of help.  (That tip is in my project under Interesting posts.)

Thanks a lot. I still can't have the exact loadout i want but your link was very helpful. At least now i can get rid of the Heavy Weapon...:D
