There should not be any problem that way.  Prob everyone here has such an account.  Note this is not cheating on a multiplayer game or on your xbl stats... just modding a single player game for more fun.

I've got the PC version of Mass effect 2 and I want to continue Mass effect 3 on Xbox 360.I wanna ask you guys:
Do you know if Me3 will import the saves ,by copying the me2 pc ones and saving them as .xbsav on the 360 hdd WITHOUT having the 360 version of ME2? Sorry for my english anyway.

Well I don't think anyone knows for sure yet how the me3 will import things, but...

One problem you will have is the xbox saves the career files inside a container file, which serves the function of the pc directory.  So at the least you will have to borrow a friend's xbox me2 or rent one to create your xbox careers.  Then following instructions in the OP of this forum (or asking for help), you can save your pc games as xbsav files and insert them into the career containers.  Sorry it's not simpler than that.

So first I need to create a new career in ME2 360 (which creates this container file)to paste saves in it,right?
Thanks a lot. Really. I'll probably use the Gamestop 'return it next day if you don't like it' policy that we have here XD

Hey there everyone, pretty new to the bioware community (at least online, i've been playing their games since kotor) and am having a little bit of trouble with loyalty powers.

my goal is this: add heavy slam and heavy warp ammo to my infiltrator(who already has tungsten ammo)
and remove my classes signature ability from the action bar since it is bound to Y anyway and is preventing me from placing one of the powers i want into the action bar.

If anyone could give me a step-by-step walkthrough to this process (and i mean STEP-BY-STEP, I'm pretty new to modding the 360  and have no idea what i'm doing)  or even let me know if it is possible to do this on the 360 (it ought to be from posts i've read) I would really appreciate it.

p.s. I'm aready proficient with the menus and interfaces of modio and gibbed so there shouldn't be any problems on that end.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked but 152 pages is quite a lot to sift through. My question is, does the save editor allow us to say we did all side quests in ME1, or just the ones that have a direct effect in ME2? So could i say i destroyed the rogue VI on the lunar base from ME1 or just certain things like the Conrad Verner mission.

There's a lot of flags for various plot points (although destroying the rogue AI isn't one IIRC).
Open the save editor and go to the plot - ME1 - flags tabs and they're all listed out (you don't need to load a save to view them).

I'm curious about a little thing and am sorry if it has been asked before, is it possible to use Kaidan's/Ash's face morphs for our custom Sheps on the 360? Or is it a feature that is only possible on PC?

As far as I'm aware, and I haven't done a ton of experimenting, but generally you can only edit the details in the save file. I.e. altering locations, flags, minerals/credits, powers, and weapons and ammo.

yes it is possible you need to change the texture and you need to find the face code

you can also use there face texture with any face morph wich i do, fem shep looks better with ash texture depending on the morph you use. here's an example

there is a tutorial on how to do it some were but i have no idea maybe some one will remember

I am confused about making ME1 plot choices. On my current play, I missed the opportunity to romance Ashley. If I go and fix that, it will not apply to my current play through, which I don't mind since ashley has no effect on this story. So if I make that change, and beat the game. Will that be remembered on my ME3 play? I want to be with Ash in ME3.

Unrealted to that; let me get this straight. I am going to start a new ME2 character. Save. Edit the save to make all my ME1 choices, and also take the "beat suicide mission". Then I start a newgame+ and import that save and I will have an ME1 history? Is that the correct process?

Sorry I can't do this all at one, but at home I only have Macs.. So i am going to have to get the save, take it to work and edit it there. So I want to get all my ducks in a row.

On ME1 values it has all the romance options with a 0. What do i change it too to say yes? Just change it to 1? or is this like a scale from 0-100 for romance or something?

There have been a couple things around here about that... I haven't tried.  I think there are a couple links in my Interesting Posts file about it.. like this one perhaps.  Also, any of the pc headmorphs around here should work (with the exception of hats, etc.  They don't seem to work on xbox...but the associated headmorphs otherwise seem okay.

Hmm I thought it had some info on the plots tab about values.. I know I have seen some info around, maybe in the PC tweaks wiki?  Hmm don't see it.  The plot->me1 tab has some suggestions for setting romance values.  Not sure I have tried them myself.

Also, a lot of those me1 flags are available under the plots->me2 plot table  which take effect in the current game, not just on a ng+ import.

Alright I just modded two of my files. Hopefully I didn't break both. I have a question, if I made a new save in my save sequence, will it be the "most recent" save in my game file on xbox? Meaning if I had 50 saves, but I modded save 20 (so I can play the game over again for the most part) and renamed that save to 51. Will my most recent save be 51 the modded one? Or will it have saved it in the same chronological place as the original?

First of all, make sure you keep a copy of the unmodified files so you can put everything back if necessary.  On the pc you can keep original container and modify a copy.  For example, if I have Pordis_12_121301, I would create a new directory for modding it and put a copy of it in there.  Then extract the saves and any save I modify I will rename the original.  So if I mod Save0002.xbsav, I will copy the original to Save0002.orig.xbsav before modifying it.  That way I can always recover where I was.

On me2 xbox displays them sequentially by number, and the numbers are shown in the career display, such as:
Save2 - Normandy
Save1 - Lazarus Research Station

If I have Saves 1-5 and want to mod save2 and also keep the orig save 2 (e.g. for comparison of face mod) I usually bump the save number by 100 or 1000.  It displays out of order, but I can tell which one it goes with.  So I mod save 2 and name the mod to Save0102.xbsav and put it back in the container file.  When I go to the xbox it would display something like:
Save102 - (description)
Save5
 - (description)
Save4
 - (description)
Save3
 - (description)
Save2
 - (description)
Save1
 - (description)

Does that make sense?

P.S.  I have noticed that sometimes if I delete a save that I had been playing (e.g. if I don't like the Save102, so I delete it), sometimes the console will show the career as corrupted.  I think it is when it tries to autoload something that moved location or that I deleted.  If I load a different career, then replace the version it thought was corrupted, it seems to load again just fine.  So if you try to recover a bad mod that corrupts things, but it says the original is corrupted---try this.

So... If I named my modded save the highest number of all my saves, then it would display at the top? Thats good. I made backups as well, although I am not actually overwriting anything so I think I can just delete the newest save I added and everything should be fine? I wont be able to test until I get home from work but I am excited.

What happens if you check mutually exclusive flags? Like "Romanced Ashley as well as Romanced Laira" or "Garrus C-Sec and Garrus Spectre?" Does it break the game? I don't think I did this, but I might have on accident or something.

Yes, but the numbers are also displayed... so not that critical to know.
