Someone else might know more than I, but I know under the raw tab in the headmorph part there are vectors and/or scalars relating to the scar. You should be able to change how visible the scar is there. idk if the game resets things when the par/renegade changes though.VirtualAlex wrote...
Is there a setting for scars? I want to give my shepard maximum scars but I still want him to have max paragon/renegade points. Can I get this done?
If you can't figure something out and no one else has better info, let me know and I'll try to play around with it a bit.

Correct, there is nothing on that tab. Many things are still only under raw tab. Sorry for the confusion. That was how it came from Gibbed, and I haven't tried to delete things, just add to them.BardicFire wrote...
it won't let me edit my post, so I'm double posting. apologies. I solved my earlier stated problem, turns out I have to move the file, not copy it. but I have a new one, using the Save Editor. Powers & Appearance are "not yet implemented".

i dont think you can have scar without having the renegade at 100% and no paragon

I know the FAQ mentions something about also just deleting the Loadout and Weapons fields for the undesired guns. I tried, and it hasn't worked in the past. I just tried it again, making sure that the fields have the appropriate strings in them, but can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong, or explain exactly how to delete an unwanted weapons class without replacing it?

okay yeah, figured out all my questions, and sorry for the double posting. So new question: I got a Corrupted File error. I did everything exactly as the steps said... what are some possible causes of the Corrupted File Error?
- The most common is forgetting to re-hash/re-sign
- You may have modded something incorrectly
- I have noticed problems when the container gets larger than about 1mb
- I have also noticed situations where the game seems to be trying to pre-load something that has moved or is no longer there. This usually results in the game getting stuck on a black screen when trying to load (at least for me).
- Make sure you rehash/resign before loading the file back to the usb
- You can try removing the modded save or restoring the original.
- Remove some of the game saves from the career container
- On the xbox load a different career from the one you are modifying. Then load the modified career back on the xbox. Finally, load the modified career. (I have had to do this on a few occasions. I noticed when it acted like this, it did not matter if I restored the original career file---it still would not work.)

I got everything working as described by the OP however the save file does not show up when I play ME2 on my 360. Do I need to transfer the save from my USB to my 360 hard drive?

Normally ppl do. However, I have successfully played from my usb all the time. N.B. iirc you must change device in the load menu to find the usb device if you normally play on the hdd. I don't recall atm, cuz I've been playing with my GT and saves all on my usb for a while now.blebyu25 wrote...

Which "paths" are you referring to?BardicFire wrote...
think I might've messed up the paths, any guide to getting those right?
I think the OP does things a little differently, but I typically use the explore device option in modio to first extract the career file to a location of my choice. I then make a copy of the career file and work only on the copy.
When you said you tried all 4 suggestions... did you successfully load a different career? and did you put the other career back on after you had loaded the different career?

It's C#. The src is in the project files.blebyu25 wrote...
Did the author code this in c# or VB? It looks like it was built in Visual Studio.
Edit: Also, Gibbed has his source available in this svn repository:

I understand that I can mod an xbox 360 save and put it back on the xbox 360 and use that, but I can't get it to work either, the progress and stuff that I modded (to put me in the same place I am on my pc game) corrupted the file and I can't even access that.
I just want to take my PC save that has my 'true' me1 decisions, etc and put it on my xbox to play so that I can finish it all up and be ready for ME3.
Can anyone help me? Please reply or PM. Thanks.

Yes, my Gibbed will save your pc file as an xbox game save. You still need to put that game save into the xbox career container though (just use the one you have already created on xbox will be fine). If you don't have the same dlc available on xbox, you might have to remove some dlc dependencies using Gibbed editor.Influxive wrote...
Is there any way to take a PC save and put it on my Xbox 360 for playing? I've been wracking my head against this for hours, trying to do so.

N.B. my editor defaults to xbsav format, so you need to change the selection filter to pcsav to see pcsav files for loading and for saving.

All that to say, does this save editor only work to import a character in and start a new game OR can I set the flags/variables to where I create a save that has both ME1 as well as ME2 completed?

You would need to play me2 to get a save ready for me3. It does not include all the me2 decisions. It has at least the major me1 decisions, it may be missing some you consider important.blebyu25 wrote...
Quick question. My purpose for using this is because I lost my ME1 save and dont want to play through it again, and then through ME2 again.

That said, there is a collection of different saves with a variety of decision paths available on the masseffect saves site which you might leverage. You could export your headmorph and import it onto one of those to get your same custom character.

So you are looking for a better guide for setting the flags? Hmm, other than searching this forum, the only thing I can suggest is to look at the me saves site I mentioned above for one that matches the choices you want and seeing how the flags are set in it when you load it up into Gibbed.BardicFire wrote...
I've tried each edit I wanted to do individually, all but one worked perfectly. By paths I mean the things you do in Mass Effect 1 and how they affect the game. the plot Paths.
N.B. The site has both me2 and me1 saves I believe. I think just for pc, though. So you might need someone to import the me1 saves into pc me2 first. Or possibly use the me2 demo? idk for sure.
Edit: I have a file of Interesting posts in my project, but I don't think any are related to the plot flags.
