it depends if you use default face as he said you cant
if you have a custom face but use the default texture using gibbed then you can you have to go in the scalar tab and change the value of the feature(lip blush eye shadow) you want to change from 0 to 1 then you go in vector and change the color as you would normaly im not a 100% sure about that but its how i did it with ash texture in me2 and if i remember corectly wen i started using femshep default texture i ad to put the lip scalar back to 0 to have the default color
from past observation 0 means default color and 1 custom so if you go to scalar and the lip sais 0 then you can change the vector all you want it will never take(trust me took me days to pick that up in me2 editor) you just have to change it to one for it to take

Yup. I posted some detailed instructions back a few pages... lemme look them up. Try following the links from this post. If you need an xbox container there is one in the project files John_32_Soldier_060312.zip <- unzip the file first. I couldn't upload the raw file.McMacPattyWhack wrote...
Ughhhh please help..
Can I export a ME2 (PC) save into ME3 (XBOX)? Looking to take my ME2 Shepard and play through ME3 again with it I have read through countless threads and maybe I'm just missing some fine details..
I don't have ME2 for XBOX and it seems most of these threads call for it...
It would defeat the purpose for me to buy ME2 for XBOX (most threads call for it) since I have already played through it 2x on the PC.

Oh yay! That's good news. Yes, custom femshep with default texture.
I don't like the original textures but the makeup on the default texture looks sooo excessive on her and I coudn't figure out how to change it.
So thanks so much for that tip!

Didn't work. Even though I changed the values. The dialogues do refer to sheperd as the one who blew up the alpha relay.
Can anyone give me a run down on what is it that they did when changing
Values for plot true or false. ANd how did they got it to take effect?
You found the values set em to true or false. And then what?
I Am trying to change the values for Arrival
ArrivalPlayed, PlotIDSet=(7451,),
This is the instruction on the website.
I changed that value to TRUE.
Can anyone plese tell mw how exactly do these take effect, or maybe is it because there are some values still
not found?
THis is what I did. I changed the value from the:
Raw Tab>Plot>PLot BOot Variables
Went to the 7451. Which was set to false. Meaning I had not played the arrival DLC. I dont wana buy the dlc... and I dont wana
spent the time either.
I changed the value to TRUE.
I then went to
Raw Tab> Basic> Ending game state. I set it to live to fight again.
I then imported this ME3 file to a new character.
When I Start. Anderson, liara etc acknowledge it was Sheperd who blew up the Alpha Relay.
However when I get to the normandy and check the war assets the 103 marine division still has -50.
Because it thinks "hacket sent marines to destroy the relay". The war assets dont change. yet the dialogue do.
So I am thinking there is another value missing? or did i Do something wrong?

Last I knew there wasn't anything in the me2 editor. You might want to check with Vaporizer to see if he has found anything new about me2 romances. You can try the me3 editor. idk how complete the romance options are flushed out (and it is not too user friendly yet), but it does have some romance flags for me2 characters. See this section of the FAQ for more info.Dawnhorn wrote...
@Pordis Shepard Didn't see it, but may be buried in the 173 other pages here. Can we edit who Shepard romanced in Mass Effect 2?
Thanks for the help. Will check it out. I just wanted to run a second time through for Jack. They did a better job flushing her out in ME3 than ME2...more endeering and less random arrogance.

That could very well be the case. I haven't tried editing any plot items myself. You might try asking in the me3 modding forum if you haven't already. I could prob lend you one of mine to compare things if you like. (I'd just have to be sure I did in fact play arrival with the save.)Spartas Husky wrote...

I can get lip color, blush, haircolor, skintone and eyecolor all to work but the heavy eyeliner and eyeshadow always stays the same. Am I missing something or is this part of the texture?
I've changed the scalar 17HED_EyeShadow_Tint_Scalar to 1 under scalar parameters - like the other values - but this one doesn't change when I change the vector parameters.
Anyone know?

Hey dude. Found the problem. ALthough not exactly a direct method, it works nevertheless. I had the webpage for war asset ID"s that you can find in Gibb. raw Tab>squad>player GAW Assets window. Has a whole bunch of ID's with "strength of them"
I sort of did it manually. But I am not sure. I removed the ID that implied hacket sent marines to alpha relay and it went back up to 50.
However I have to ask something. When you played arrival, is there ANYTHING in your warassets mentioning you blowing up the relay or there is no mention of them?
Or is only if you "didn't play arrival that the 103rd takes -50 war assets.
ID I took out was:
ID=140 Arrival Not Completed Type: Modifier -
StartingStrength=0 ConditionalDescription="Arrival
Was not Completed"
So I looked and found an ID in gibbed of "140" erased it. At the same time, I changed the ID for resources gathered in my normandy and now I got 100 war assets and the text change saying "i gather "massive" quantities of resources" bla bla bla.
So... not sure if this means I ommited some text that was suppose to be in the war assets but at least the dialogue checks and...text isn't there saying the contratry.

Tried going to Raw tab> player>weapon , pressed the (...) for the collection but is all empty.
Or do you have to add them in Raw tab> PLot> Player variables?
Not sure exactly how to do it.
PS: I just realized I played the reckoning demo. I got the knight armor that is all spiky... but I never got the chakram launcher... I played through the whole thing.. 45 down the drain then?.. coz the armor isn't so goo dbut feels nice to have it at least.

I don't think the dlc should matter for the save to show up for import. The partially completed dlc might cause the import to do something weird, but I would doubt that too. Re-check your import procedures.tribalismx wrote...
Hey guys. I have ME2 for the PC and just got ME3 for the XBOX. That being said, I was able to convert my pc save into an xbox save and move it to a usb (already configured to work on xbox). My problem is that when I plug it into the xbox, and proceed onto importing the character, it doesn't show up. And I believe that it is because I have downloaded Arrival and Overlord DLC packs for the PC (only finished Arrival and midway through Overlord) causing the issues for it to properly load on XBOX. Right now, I'm trying to use the ME2 save editor to remove that I have any of the DLCs, so is there anyway to disable DLC on the editor because I'm kind of having trouble finding it.
PS. Also, lets say I'm modifying the AutoSave, would I have to make the same changes to CharacterSave and Save_# as well on the editor to use on modio? ( btw I'm following Traim Eisenblut instructions on page 165 if that helps/clarifying for an answer).
Edit: You only need 1 finished save to import. Don't worry about modding the other saves. In fact, me3 should show any save after finishing the main game, including the post-game dlc saves.

I was wondering if I am able to save right after Shepherd wakes up in ME2, edit what choices I wanted for ME1 and ME2, and then use that to import to ME3? Or do I have to play through the whole ME2? The me2 editor has limited editing of me2 plot points, so no. You might want to look over the game saves at masseffect2saves.com to find one with the major choices you are wanting though.

This seriously made my week. I just rented ME2 for one night, used the importer to bring the characters into ME2, played through the intro for both characters until I could save and then extracted the saves. I can't wait to play my old characters again.
One issue though, the Modio link no longer works, so if you are reading this just Google it to get you the correct download link.
