Sorry, I can not understand what c3 said. I just need a yes or no answer, will I get banned from xbox live? I plan on playing coop with my buddies still.
Short anwer no.
Long answer:
This thread has been up for 2 years. If bioware did not condone it, it wouldn't be here.
They dont like it however, but know it brings more people in, brings more time into the series which translates into the possibility of money.
So as long as you are not modding something on multiplayer, nobody will give a damn that you decided to give your shepard green eyes in a shade other than the developers originally intended.

yea that what i thoughDark Penitant wrote...
Uh, they don't encourage it, but it's not like they'll enforce restrictions on it. You did use condone wrong, though, as that means the act of allowing something.
should have said they dont condemn modding

Does the Container file serve and purpose other than holding the xbsav? I usually do single Romance per Container file.
Trying to cut down on play time in ME2 so I can head into ME3.
Example of what I trying to do:
Container file: John_23_Soldier_260110
Save 110 -> Romance Miranda -> Import into ME3
Save 120 -> Romance Tali -> Import into ME3
Save 130 -> Romance Jack -> Import into ME3

Anyways, I apparently mod the individual save files, and rehash & save them to the character(s) on my USB device without problems. The problem lies in that there, using the basics found in this tutorial, is no editing of the characters, only the individual save files. So when I open the character in ME3, it only see the original, unmodded saves, I think. There are also a lot of ME2 character saves that don't show up in ME3 at all.
Any suggestion?

im having problems getting saves to transfer between modio and gibbed. its acting like the file types are incompatible with one another.
Specifically when i try to open a file from modio with gibbed it gives me an "unhandled exception" error message.and when i try to open a gibbed file in modio it gives me an "invalid package" error message.
any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

did you forget to rehash and resign? That's the most common error.
I wasn't aware there was the ability to do that. Can you please tell me where the rehash and resign buttons are for the program? I mean i know how to extract the saves and all that and put them back in with Modio...

Is there any way of importing a ME2 character played/saved on the PC into ME3 on the xbox?
I only have ME1&2 on the PC but have bought ME3 for the Xbox.
The furthest ive got is converting my PC save into an xbox save...
okay so my problem might just be that i cant figure out how to change the pc save file to an xbox save file so how did you manage it?

would it possible to post a thread with all the actual specifics of the actual modding and not just people asking what they can do with the modifier.

Are you trying to open the game saves in Gibbed? Because in Modio you can extract the career files also (named like John_soldier_060312), but Gibbed cannot open the careers, only the saves (named Save_0012.xbsav).slipnslide hero wrote...
no ones got any clue on how to fix my problem?
Also, there is a description on a list for moving pc to xbox and some related info on the career file. See my post here.
Edit: @MarchWaltz You can make the characters on pc. Just remember there are textures and clothing available on pc that won't work on xbox. Definitely, anything involving texmod on pc won't work, but also caps/berets seem to be problematic on xbox also.

You want the me3 editor. See this forum OP. The container and modio parts seem the same.cynicalsaint1 wrote...
