How do you change the casual outfits on xbox using gibbed? Is their a value I change in the editor?

I tried follow the steps outlined in this thread but it's not working.  I even transfered a save from my 360 to make sure I put the converted pc save in the right place. The 360 says the file is corrupted. How should I do?

I converted the pc save to .xbsav format using first legions website and then tried with gibbed. I don't want to change anything just put it on the USB stick. There is talk about rehashing, reassigning, putting in a container, etc. What does this mean and how do i do it? The .xbsav file I get after converting my PC save is much smaller than the file I transfered from my xbox if that might have something to do with it?

So, I've got a .xbsav file made from a pc save on my desktop, an USB formatted for 360 use and the programs modio, gibbed and xtaf explorer. What should I do next?

Can anyone give me an answer to my problem?
I feel like I'm missing something completely...All I'm doing is modding my Sheps hair to have the cyberbabe style, and I'll be fine playing, but once I exit that game (dashboarding/exiting to the title screen, any possible way) when I go back to it, the file is corrupted..All I use is gibbed and modio..

I was also led to a program that checks the checksum, and all my corrupted saves have the 8fs in the checksum. I'm pretty much stumped, I know too little on this.

EDIT: I'm also on the 360 if that even matters.

I realize that I'm pretty damn late to the party on this matter, but I've started up another ME2 playthrough and I'd like to use Ashley's hair on my Shepard. However, her hair always turns out grey and textureless when I enter Ash's codes. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Anyone find a solution?

Gotta ask since u seems to know a alot about modding. I having a problem with gibbed editor about finding my extracted save file for modding. Seems that my save file isnt a ME2 Xbox save or a pc save file . just a file with a annoying pop up text: File extension not recognized. Assuming .pcsav file (Little-Ending) then just error.... Image IPB any ideas for what a I should do? I use Horizon for extract if it has any meaning.

I tried searching for the answer to my question before asking here, but did not find the answer.
I have a Soldier save (Freedom's Progress) and tried changing the weapon loadout to only Pistols and SMGs without any luck. The extra resources added correctly, but the weapons did not.

Using Gibbed, I removed Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, and Shotguns from Weapons and added SMGs. But that did not seem to work as the save defaulted to the default Soldier loadout. I then added the Shuriken SMG and Predator Pistol to the Loadout's 4 and 5 slots respectively. It still defaulted to the default Shepard loadout.

So is this something I would have to change in the coalesced.ini file (edit the Soldier loadout in coalesced if it is in there), which would mean I am out of luck trying to mod this on Xbox?

Edit: I still cannot figure this out. Is it actually possible to use just Pistols and SMGs on the Soldier on Xbox with modding? Or would this be a PC-only thing where you would need to edit the Coalesced file?

Have you tried removing/replacing the inventory_weapon codes from the Loadout menu in Player via GIbbed Save Editor as well? If you only want to use Pistols and SMGS, you have to click on Loadout and remove the codes for the listed Assault Rifle, Shotgun, and Sniper Rifle.

The codes to remove should look like
SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_(weapon code)

But be careful not to remove the heavy pistol code, and since Soldier class doesnt carry SMG (to my knowledge) - here is a link to the SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_(weapon code) to paste into a section in the Loadout menu (x)

I believe that you can only hold up to 5 weapons - my sentinel has AR, SHG, SNR, Pistol, and Heavy Weapons and I had to place SMG at the bottom of the Loadout menu list in order to use the Heavy Weapons which disabled my ability to use SMG weapons.

Hope that this helps.

Hey, I've got a MAJOR problem.

I followed the steps as outlined in the opening post, but the changes aren't sticking. When I load up the modified save, it acts as if nothing was done to it. Not only that, when I check the USB stick again in Modio, I discover that the save got reverted to its pre-modified state. What exactly is going on here?

EDIT: Okay, I figured out why it wasn't sticking.  Ignore the post please.

Hey, did you figure out why your game mod wasn't saving?  I had the same problem but fixed it on my end.  If you're still having trouble let me know and I'll walk you through it.

Hello everybody,

I want to transfer a ME2 savegame from PC to Xbo360. I don't want to mod anything, just transfer the character. How do I do that?

When I google my question, I'm always directed to this thread in the end.

I used the website where you can transform your .pcsav into an .xbsav, I have an Xbox-compatible USB drive and I downloaded modio.

How do I continue? Please help! I've been trying for hours to make it work, but I can't seem to get it right.

Edit: I finally managed to get the savegame to run on the Xbox, but something is still not right. Every time I save the game, the new save immediately vanishes. Can someone help me?

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd try it for help. I have recently started playing the Mass Effect trilogy again with new DLC that I never got originally.

I had forgotten what a pain it is to scan planets for ores and wanted to take advantage of the gibbed editor. I have successfully edited my xbox 360 save using Modio and a USB,  checked it twice and loaded it back to my Xbox. Every time I try to play from that edited save, it reverts back to the orginal parameters, Yes, I performed the rehash and resign. I can delete the save from my laptop and load it again from the usb and all the modifications are there. But once I plug it into my Xbox, all the mods vanish.

What am I missing?

I don't play on Xbox so this is a guess but does it use cloud saves that may be overwriting your edited saves?

No, I never use the cloud for saves in any game.

I am missing something from rehash/resign to plugging the USB into my XBox 360. That is when the file reverts back to the original save parameters.

Open modio, Click on the "USB Stick" icon to open that up, then click on your game profile pic, then click on the game. You then should have a New Tab page showing, then click on the file (the far right file), then choose "Advanced" on the left, and then click on the "Edit Package Contents" button. You then will see your save game file in the window. Right click on it and "Save As" to a location on your PC (desktop is easiest to remember). Once you've saved it, delete the one in Modio from your USB stick. Make a copy of the file you saved just in case. Open Gibbed's save editor and mod away. Then place the modded save back into the same window you extracted the original from, click the "Done" button, then "Save Changes" button and then click on "General" in the left column, then click on your gamer image, and it will rehash it back to your profile and you will get a prompt, click on that, close and enjoy. Be sure you do not save this file as another instance; IOWs, don't keep file 1 and save it as file 2 and put it back on the USB stick, it will get corrupted because they have the same parameters as far as game location and you'll not be able to load your game at all..

Which version Modio are you using, I downloaded 5,28, but it does not seem to support Mass Effect 2 or 3.  I have been using Modio3 ver 1.0 to modifify my saves. Your directions are just a little different then what show on my screen.

BTW once again the mod did nit take. Even deleting the save and re-injecting it to the USB did not help.

I am using the latest one, which appears to be the one you have installed. It seems you are not following the instructions properly, or, you're not allowing an overwrite of the file. Here is a video on how to do this, exactly. The only difference in the video is the absolute last step. In the version you and I have, you simply click on the gamer profile (the one in th e video is blank) and you'll see a quick remake as the image on your profile updates at the top part, as if a file is loading/saving (this is the rehash part).

If you want, I can try to make your save for you. You can message me with your email addy and you can send me the save and I mod it and rehash it for you. If you choose to do so, just explain what stats/changes you want made to the save.

Woot! it worked. Now I can replay without having to do all that planet surveying, it literally puts me to sleep.

Thanx Much

Hi, I know this is extremely outdated but the images on this tutorial seem to have been taken down. All that shows is "click and discover Imageshack".

I understand better with images, is there another tutorial with them?
