YES, The Gibbed 360 can edit any casual clothing and armor so long as you don't select the locker in Shepards room.

What do you mean?  Does opening the armor locker reset everything?

Just that changing the ID number adds the clothing or armor onto Shepard only. It doesn't add to your inventory
So if you change Sheps outfit ID and go into the locker for a change of armor you'll be okay,  but if you accidentally
selected casual wear in Sheps locker you will only be able to pick from original four outfits

Have you put Shep in any casual outfit that she was not intended to wear with this method?  If so, what was the code you used.  I'd like to find out if this method works - I'd like to try any casual code you have - doesn't matter what it is - as long as it's not something shep is supposed to be wearing.

Thanks

Hopefully, we'll be able to figure a way to do this for 360 at some point cause they definitely figured out how to do it for PC.

I even asked the guy  who made this vid...

"Is it possible to make an armor as opposed to a casual outfit out of any of these?" and he replied....

"Yes, it's possible and trivial to assign any model to any or all sliders. However none of the models have usual armor stat buffs by default. Thankfully it's simple to add any combination of existing effects."

Does anyone know what the loadout code for the locust smg is? It's missing from all the weapons lists I have. Is there any problem giving yourself this weapon before you actually pick it up since this gun never carries over in my new game+

Locust SMG Code:

SFXGameContentDLC_HEN_MT.SFXWeapon_TacticalMachinePistol

Never tried to add it before Kasumi's mission since I didn't have the weapon code until then.  Hopefully someone else can try it and let us know.

so I'm still seeing all kinds of awesome PC mods and can't help but wonder why won't they help us? Maybe I should just start a topic directly asking them for their help. Although I've tried to mod and failed, I want the rest of you to be able to use all those awesome mods.

Probably because they're too butt-hurt to lend a hand now that us lowly console gamers can mod our game like they can with their vastly superior hardware and that mod exclusivity is no longer a banner they can wave in the Xbox vs. PC threads. Or so I'd assume...

(Come on guys, cheer up. You've still got custom user created content in your favor!)

I have a question. Okay, I started a new game in ME2, after the intro, when Shep wakes up, I saved the game, and cut it off. What I want to know is, when I bring my modded Shep into the game, will I have a chance to change her face the way I want it....or will she look the was I saved her?

Apparently on the 360 you can't access some of the files the people can edit on the PC version.  Consequently, you can't always mod the 360 version in the same way you would mod the PC version.  So we're still working on figuring out if its possible to do a lot of the stuff that PC modders have already figured out like changing the skins for weapons and armor.

As with importing any character's face you can accept the one you have or create a completely new one; but if you want to edit the face you'll need to write down the facecode for the old one, enter it in and then start editing.  Alternatively you can change the face to whatever you want directly through modding; but you won't be able to see exactly what you've done until you import the changes to the 360 and boot up the save.

You are never going to be able to change skins/colors of weapons/armor (texmods), not without a severely hacked 360, one that'd get you permabanned the instant you turn it on basically.

And again---it has nothing to do with PC modders "not helping us" and "keeping the codes to themselves"---we simply cannot DO what they do, at the moment. We've got the codes etc for dozens and dozens of armors, outfits, faces, etc from the PC mods---there's just no way to implement them on the 360 yet.  Most of the PC modding of ME 2 is done with the coalesced.ini file, NOT the save files.   And there is no way to access/alter the ini files on the 360 yet.   (ME1 was like that too----save files aren't good for much more than money/weapons, but the INI files can do some pretty big changes)

Is it possible to use these texture mods social.bioware.com/project/2572/#files on the 360?  I like the eyeshadow.

I wonder if using the transfer cable rather than the USB method would change anything.  I transfered my entire hard drive over to a new one with my transfer cable, which I would imagine involved moving quite a bit more than just save files.  On top of that I've installed ME2 to the hard drive so I'd imagine there are a lot of ME2 files written on the hard drive.

Of course the files being there and me being able to access them are two entirely different things and as you said it might take a radically modified and hence highly frowned upon 360 to get to them.   Still the one could buy a bare bones 360 and modifying it solely for offline use could have potential.

So if anyone out there has a "friend" with a modified offline 360 (not you of course; but a friendly yet mysterious acquitance who you know little about like my associate Guy Incognito) your unscrupulous friend could theoretically have access to files which decent law abiding folk like you and I do not.  Of course, I would never sanction such illicit behavior.

PS:

CRAZY IDEA:  Has anyone with the modding software tried putting the ME2 disc in their PC and seeing if the currently inaccesible files are on there?  Granted even if they're there I'm not sure it would do much good since it might still be impossible to import them back onto the 360 and I'm pretty damn skeptical it would do any good myself; but I figured I'd throw it out there.

Anyone find out how to mod the armor and replace it with the formal wear Kasumi gives you. In the DLC Shepard fights in it so maybe it's possible.

Hey, need help with Modio:

I finally manage to install that stupid .net framework 3.5, but I can't run Modio, an error appears saying it can't find: "System Core, Version)3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089"

What does that mean? It doesn't detect the -net or what?

The color nuances can be very speciffic and changing the ammount of a color by .1 over the others can make a drastic difference. You can try blindly trying things or you can pick the exact color you want and calculate its values for the save editor. I mean all you have to do is a simple division and it's not like you have to do it by hand either....if you don't have a basic calculator at home I'm sure your computer has one or you can easily find one online. If you've got a better idea for choosing exactly the color you want with something other than paint then by all means enlighten us but it really isn't that difficult.....pick your desired color, perform a simple division and enter values into the save editor....that's already VERY simple as it is.

That's what I've been doing, I'm saying the color you get in Paint doesn't really translate the same way in the game. Paint is just the single color, with no effects or angles to distort it. But in the game, that skin tone might look completely different...

It just seems like a LOT of trial and error, and I was wondering if anyone's figured out a way to make it easier.

What is the min max color values?  Most I have delt with in programming are just 0 to 1.0.

I'm posting some of my Shepard's face codes.

My male infiltrator, he has a crew cut and looks somewhat similar to Fist except that he has a beard and has TIM's eyes in yellow. He's white and has black hair.
543.PN9.MCG.23A.FEA.EBB.UJD.7B1.787.1E7.847.6

My female adept, she's blonde and white, she also has TIM's eyes in yellow.
741.19G.M7G.I6A.JDQ.67Q.1FD.711.166.471.245.376

My female soldier, her hair color is the one before the blonde hair. She also has yellow eyes but they are normal and not TIM's eyes and she's also white and has this hair model: BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Sexy.HMF_HIR_Sxy_MDL
741.19G.M17.F8A.JDQ.37Q.1FD.111.166.472.244.377

My male soldier, he has the same hair color as the Shepard I mentioned before and has TIM's eyes and TIM's eye color.
142.WSD.RGI.I31.MAN.E9B.SLG.6H1.A87.4R2.E35.5

That's about it and I posted this because someone requested it. If I ever learn how to upload pictures from my computer to the internet I will post them, however I don't know how to. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Hmm I'm not sure. I modded and it worked right but I couldn't delete the save I just added in Modio by pressing X so I went back to Modio deleted it manually in there then rehashed and resigned the save and it refused to work...kept popping up as corrupted so I went in deleted another save and re-injected it and lastly I injected it in XTAF through right click and now it works fine again.

DARN IT!!! This is frustrating. I did everything, but when I go back in Modio and click on the folder to Inject my file, it says " Unable to load the file, Reason-Invalid Package" WHAAAAAAT?!!! Invalid Package?? I did everything, followed every rule, *sigh* guess this is a sign that something will probably happen later if I get the mods Image IPB
