Oh noes, looks weird and strange, but maybe someone will like it.
Try this under the HED_Diff in texture parameters and see for yourself.

BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.Mira.HMF_HED_PROMira_Face_Diff_Stack

EDIT, FemShep, not tried it on a male.

2nd EDIT; replaced the HAIR_Diff with that, interesting look. Atleast on the Cyberbabe hairstyle, not sure about others.

I do not freaking understand the eyes. I thought I'd figured out how to get a nice brown, but they won't change no matter how much I change the numbers they always come out as some weird brownish yellow green. I wish we could do the stuff the PC guys could do.

Have you tried the paint method? If you want I can get you a brown?

I'm saying that Paint isn't working well. I've posted about it a few times before this. In this case, let's say the color was 180 R, 100 G, 0 B. In the save editor, that's 0.705 in red and 0.392 in green. That isn't vibrant enough, so I multiply those numbers by...let's say 2, and the color should stay the same right? It'll just be more colorful.

I have the correct understanding here, right?

Quick question for anyone who's tried altering a squad member's weapon loadout. If you give them a weapon from a class they aren't trained in does it show up on their back (or hip)? Or does it magically appear when you order them to use it?

Whenever I've tried that, it never works, just corrupts the save

How about giving a squad member one of the Collector Ship weapons from a weapon class they can use?  Giving Garrus a Widow, Grunt a Revenant, etc.?

I've done that and given my Vanguard Shepard the Widow. You just need to paste the weapon code into the loadout tree in place of some other weapon they have. I've given Jacob the Vindicator in place of his pistol, the Widow in place of Kasumi and Mordin's pistols, and the Tempest in place of Tali's pistol.

Everytime I try this the gamesave never loads past the start screen and it just goes black. Is there a more accurate step by step procedure in adding weapons to Shepard/Squadmates?

Need help. But now with the editor, arghh.

I've extracted things from modio, I open the editor and open the numbers file right? But an error pops, saying that the exception is not controlled by the application.

Should I re-download it?

In the appearance section of the editor where your armor is there are fields for "tint 1" "tint 2" "pattern color" and "pattern" there is also a field called "tint 3" that is always set to zero in all my saves. Does anyone know what that field does?

I re-downloaded, and still it has the same error!

Although this time, it had something added at the bottom of the error screen: Bad Checksum Position.

Anyone knows what is that? And also, is it normal the numbers file is 0007?

^^^ Just an idea, but the darker skin tones are also brownish. Maybe look up those colour values and try copy pasting them?

Can anybody fill me in on what the HAIR_DIFF, HAIR_NORM, HAIR_MASK, and HAIR_TANG values correspond to what part of the hair (like bangs, top part, bun etc) ????

I have this idea that maybe I can mix codes from different hair styles together on different Hair input places to make some new look, you feel me?

Cool, I think I'll screw around with this next time I mod.  From Grunt and Legion I can figure out how the Claymore or Widow would work on a squad member; but I was just wondering though how effective are squad members with the Revenant?  Is it not a noticeable improvement over having them equip the Vindicator or alternatively are they so lethal with it that it makes the game a cake walk?

Could someone who's tried equipping a squad member with the Revenant give me an evaluation of its effectiveness?

You won't be able to mix codes around to make a new hairstyle.  That's beyond what the save editor can do.

The XBOX 360 needs a minimum of 1gb to be able to format the USB properly, and a max of 4gb.  ME2 save games are pretty small though, about 300kb+ or so per save.  I have 2 save game profiles which include 6 or 7 saves and the total filesize is 1mb.

The minimal is right but the max is 16gb and if u add another 16gb you can have 32gb

Those are all just various "subtleties" to the texture applied to the model.  Completely changing them will only change the "coloration and highlighting of the strands".  And mixing and matching (already tried) has little to no effect.  (I'm sure between SOME styles it may have a more obvious effect, but it's still just color/pattern/highlights, not shape/style)

Is it possible to change the name of your Shepard? If so, what else would you need to change (i.e. file names, etc)?

I can tell you right now it's awesome :)

But I always play on Insanity, and It balances out, bringing squadmates who aren't tailored to a certain mission.

Well somebody did it before, and it involved changed in the scalp textures:

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/103/index/756184/39#2405913

That could be possible too, right? Are there any scalp codes and such?
