I also finally thought of something that might make what we can do so far useful...I could do a quick run through of ME1 and then just mod the ME2 save to give myself the level 60 bonuses I earned...quicker way to change some of my choices from ME1 instead of playing through ME2 and importing it to get the changes to take place.

I still want to know about all that stuff up there. Are those hairstyles that aren't selectable in the character creator?

Actually, you don't have to run through ME2 to import a character. Just open up Gibbed's Editor and go to Raw > Plot > End Game State and change it from "NotFinished" to "LivedToFightAgain" (I'm assuming "OutInABlazeOfGlory" means Shepard dies at the end). That save will now be importable as a valid ME2 end game save regardless of where you are in the story.
This is nice if, like me, you don't want to have to replay all of ME1 to create a new Shepard. I could, for example, import my Renegade Shepard from ME1, use Gibbed's Editor to alter his origin, reputation, ME1 choices, etc then switch it to "LivedToFightAgain" and import it immediately as a new career.

No found those on the web, didn't remember where, so I uploaded them to my skydrive instead of searching for them again.

Interesting...so I could just go import one of my ME1 characters right now, save, check off the ME1 things I want to change, check LivedToFightAgain, and when I start the game up I have that character ready to import with the ME1 decisions changed?
Since I would have just started the game, it'll be just like I just started the character too, right? Since I won't have any armor pieces or anything else that carries over in a New Game+?

ok will i be able to mod ME2 using a Datel Transfer Kit and a Datel Xport docking hard drive station
yes but don't install the software datel ships with it. Simply lug it in to your PC, attach your storage devices to it and run xport360. Still easier and cheaper would be to just get a USB flash drive and plug it directly into your PC's USB port(s).

Greetings. Sometime ago I stumbled upon a website which had quite many hair codes. In addition,
It had hats, and instructions to add them. Since I heard some people are having problem with them, I thought
I should tell. This also includes such things as visors and sunglasses. Basically, you can't have both hat and custom hair, I mean, I haven't figured that out completely yet, but I'm working on it. So I take no credit for these, but there you go:
Thanks for posting those additional visor/sunglasses codes! The main problem me and a few others are having is not putting a hat on, but getting the hats textured. Have tried a few different codes under the Texture parameters in Gibbed but it still isn't showing up for my maleshep.
Know any way to get the proper texture on them?

No you can't. You still need modio becase the save editor can't handle character saves....I don't see how it could since the character file is a folder containing multiple individual saves.

Correct. You could import an ME1 character, save as soon as you get off the Lazarus Base bed, make your ME1 plot changes/etc, change the save in Gibbed to read "LivedToFightAgain", and then use that save to start a new career with all your changed ME1 values via the "Import ME2 Character" option.

Anyone found the texture for Ashley's hair yet? Everything I've found (and things I've tried myself) hasn't worked, you just get plain white textureless hair.
Click Here-->www.masseffect2faces.com/index.php for a great guide over at masseffect2faces.com written by Okogawa. Among other things, the guide tells you how to texture Ashley's hair.

If I do my thing and get a face I like, then do what you said I could do, JKoopman, I'll start the New Game+ with that modded face and I'll be able to start playing immediately, huh?

I've been collecting most of the codes here
ME2 Mod Codes - Public
Just need to grab the codes for the Incisor and Arc Projecter, I have both, just need to open up my saves with Gibbed
Great work Javier. I'm thinking about getting into some face modding and I was wondering if you or anyone else knows a site that has some pictures of the various codes other than the ME2 faces database.
In particular, I'm curious about the what tha "sideburns" facial hair code looks like since I happen to sport a truly spectacular set of sideburns myself and have long wanted my Shepard to do the same.
Additionally, I've been trying to make a spot on Jean Luc Picard for some time now and though I've gotten very close, I can never get the hair right since there are no hairstyles that are bald enough or have an option for grey hair (best I can do without mods is choose the baldest hairstyle and try and match the haircolor with his skin tone).
So, I'm looking for the code for the bald hairstyle that the Mess Sergeant and Navigator Pressly (from ME1) had and a good color code for grey hair. Anyone got any tips?
PS: When I get my Picard perfect I'd be happy to upload the file for anyone who wants it if someone would tell me how. And if anyone with a PC copy of ME2 uses it, I'd appreciate it if you could take a screenshot or two, so I could upload it to the ME2 faces database.

Can't get any non-human one to work at all. I'm fairly certain on Samara's head/face code (and tried many variations thereof) but got nothing. Same for Aria.

You can replace either your pistol or your SMG with the minigun in the save editor.

That's awesome! Thanks. Is it just the minigun or can I replace them with any weapon?
