How do I delete those files I just downloaded? I cannot find them in the add or remove programs section.

Look in the OP of this thread, at the bottom of the OP is a picture tutorial walking you through the bulk of the editing process. It's really easy just to add minerals and credits.

Have a bit more patience, I'll walk you through it.

Cheers Javier.

Just spent an hour getting to around 100k of the mineral scanning. I think a little part of me actually died whilst gaming. As for the modding, I am just going to leave it matey. Once I finish this playthrough I will make sure there is is a save made for about halfway through the game. This way if any mission DLC gets released, I can just load up this save instead of starting over and doing minerals again.

I think I have to disagree with BioWare when they say its not a game killer. For some maybe not, but I know its the only thing that prevents me fro wanting to play.

I am having some issues trying to swap my pistol with the minigun....This is what I did.

Posted Image

I got the Heavy Weapon to have infinate ammo but the pistol and smg were still the same original weapons.

Remove the SFXGameContent_Inventory. and leave the SFXWeapon_MiniGun in the weapon collection editor window

The whole line SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_MiniGun goes under loadout.

Dear GOD, I LOVE being able to mod.

I've got my Infiltrator running around with a Widow, Locust SMG, Claymore Shotgun, and the Revenant AR, with Armor Piercing Ammo and Shield Drain. and all my squad members have their loyalty powers unlocked early in the game

I just can't figure out how to get more than two bonus powers...

How would the claymore normally be unlocked during the game? Is that the white shotgun you get near one of the recruitment missions?

The Claymore M-300 "Krogan Shotgun" is the specialized shotgun, which NORMALLY, you can ONLY get if you are a Soldier, or Vanguard, and it's one of the weapons you can choose on the Collector Ship.

With Gibbed Editor, I can give ANY Squad mate, ANY Weapon, as well as myself, so long as I don't have 2 of one type of weapon

I think that I have made a new discovery: You can actually REPLACE any current power with a squad loyalty power, thus giving you 3, 4, or even 5 bonus powers!!!

I was exprimenting with the powers and trying to get rid of the Sentinel's "Cryo Blast" with something more useful, like maybe the Soldier's Adrenaline Rush. You actually cannot do this since there is some kind of class check on that power that will not let you assign it to a Sentinel.

However, I then tried to change it to Reave. This was a success, although I still strangely had Cryo Blast available as well. Now, since the Wheel will only hold 8 powers, and I had already added 2 bonus powers (Armor Piercing Ammo & Inferno Grenade), the solution was to simply get rid of CryoBlast from the wheel. I simply edited that power to have ZERO points, and viola, and open slot. I then was able to put points into Reave and now on my Wheel, and then I had 3 bonus powers.

Since all powers are still present on the Squad screen, you can, in theory add as many bonus powers as you want, and by NOT PUTTING ANY POINTS INTO STANDARD POWERS, you can free up slots on the wheel in order to be able to use your bonus powers. Each time you add a bonus power, the Squad menu actually adjust to fit the power and the description, so you can easily see and add the powers.

So in short, you can add multiple powers, but you must ZERO OUT a normal power since you can only have 8 slots on the Wheel...This is about as close as you can get to having a custom class.

Right now, on my Sentinel, I have: Warp, Assault Armor, Overload, Raider, Reave, Inferno Grenade, Armor Piercing Ammo, and Slam. That's right--4 bonus powers!
I added 2 that will fit, and then by changing Throw and Cryo Blast to ZERO, it created room for the other 2 bonus powers.

Yeah, I added a bunch of powers to my inflitrator a few days ago, currently has Neural Shock, Flashbang Grenade, and Armor Piercing Ammo as additional powers, it's pretty awesome.

Can anyone further explain this process?

Is it possible to replace squad powers with different powers?

ex: Like give Jack Miranda's Slam ability.

Hmm....as I understand it, No. But I wonder if anyone else can shed light on this

If I understand your situation correctly, you just need to add more powers to the list, just like you already have done with AP Ammo and Sheild Drain, but you will have to have 0 points in one or more of your base powers depending on how many bonus powers you want.

For example, I currently have Flashbang, Neural Shock, and Armor Piercing Ammo on my Infiltrator. I have no points in Cryo Ammo or AI Hacking. I might decide to take Incinerate instead of fourth bonus, not sure though.

And yeah, modding = ultra awesomess :)

But how can I evolve the powers if I can't see them?

There's nothing especially complicated about it. You just add additional bonus powers the same way you added the two you have already. The only limiting factor is that you can only have 8 "active" powers at a time, by which I mean your power wheel can only support 8 activated powers so you can only have points in up to 8 powers (with the exception of your passive class power (eg: Infiltrator's Operative or Sentinel's Defender) which doesn't show up on your power wheel). Note that this includes First Aid by default.

So, for example, this is what my Soldier's power setup looks like:

Posted Image

Notice that I have three bonus powers (Flashbang Grenade, Armor-Piercing Ammo and Shredder Ammo), but that I had to sacrifice putting any points into Cryo Ammo in order to get that third bonus power.

Also, if you'd like to get around a power lock that requires you to take a skill you don't want to get one you do (for example, my Infiltrator wanted AI Hack without having to invest in Incinerate) a trick is to replace the power you want with it's already-evolved form. So, for example, my Infiltrator replaced...

SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_AIHacking_Infiltrator
0
AIHacking
0

...on her power list with...

SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_AIHacking_Radius
4
EvolvedAIHacking_Radius
0

...and it replaces the unevolved locked power in-game with the fully-upgraded, unlocked evolved form of your choosing (in this case, Area AI Hacking). Note that you have to set it's Current Rank to 4 or it doesn't recognize it.

Is it possible to mod your squadmates weapons on the 360 and if so how? i.e. Grunt with Revenant

Do you actually feel the benefits of the power of the claymore, or is it just a graphic placemeent? Also does it go all clippy when in Shepards hands?

I would assume so or people wouldn't be saying how awesome it is to have them.

Well, ofcourse, the Claymore isn't even a hidden weapon. it's it's own weapon. It's a BEASTLY, slow firing, one round clip Boom stick that on Insanity will kill most enemies up close with oneshot despite whatever protection they have.

Nope, not clippy at all. The animation runs great, fluid, and the shotgun itself is a very cool model

Sounds groovy. Shepard in soldier class is really lacking a decent shotgun. Can you toggle the helmuts off the DLC armor by any chance? I really want to wear the Cerberus armor, but that helmut is just turd.

That's beyond the scope of a save game editor unfortunately.

Have you also changed the loadout?? And what in the world are you doing with the ammo??? Why do you have a negative number in the used ammo count for something that isn't a heavy weapon??

Cleary not.

So is there any additional hair style in the save editor or anything like that?
