Has anyone figured out how to keep the Revenant, widow, and claymore in your inventory like the other weapons?

can you edit a save pre or post game to change the romance ?

Perhaps even settings for a fem vs fem that normally would not happen or just make so that kelly does her little room visits post game. I am looking for those settings but I assumed someone else already has taken a look into this :)

Yeah, there is a way to do all of that.

The simplest method for some of these doesn't even require any modding.  At the end of the game you can explore any romance provided that the person you want to romance is interested in you and you aren't going out with anyone in particular.  So if you go to your love interest and tell them you want to break it off, you can go talk to another love interest and get together with them.  This will also work for Kelly provided you had dinner with her earlier on.

If a character you want to romance, doesn't like you enough to be romanced then you can fiddle around with the ME2 plot flags to make them interested in you (including Kelly).   Additionally you can actually have unintended same sex romances with crew members if you change your character's sex part way through the game and turn on subtitles.  Since the romances aren't intended a Female shepard won't have audio recorded for hitting on Miranda, Tali, or Jack and a Male Shepard won't have audio recorded for hitting on Garrus, Jacob, or Thane; but if you put on the subtitles you can still put the moves on them, you just won't hear some of Shepard's lines.

There are further instructions on how to change your sex and edit plot flags on page 1.

I just can't get Kelly to come up to the room when I am a femshep. For a male shep it's easy but for some reason I can't get it to work. I read it won't and I read it will. I even saw utubes of it. She had dinner and I hit all of the right marks including asking her if shes into aliens.

She just feeds my fems fish, lol

Thanks I will look for those plot flags.

Too late to look into this as I must be overlooking something. I will check back tomorrow but I must be in the wrong part but it's in the plot and under henchmen and I see a lot of glag triggers just not romance nor Kelly triggers

Thanks so much for creating this guide. The directions were simple to follow and I was able to complete it in no time at all. I do have a question though. When you try to apply certain colors for the Illusive Man Eyes I noticed that once I input the values they changed a bit. Is this because, 360 can only handle certain colors and make them show properly?

I already had every achievement before I started doing this as I am just doing it now for fun so no idea if that might trigger a flag to M$

I doubt it but I have no idea what they might scan when a xbox is turned or updated.

It's not a multiplayer game and I don't see how this hurts anyone. Hell it got me to play the game more and I had at least 200 hours of play before I knew this stuff existed.

Nope no one has been banned, in fact no one has even been warned.  Considering the fact that this thread is stickied to the top of Bioware's own forum, I think it would be pretty easy for them to dissuade people from doing this if they felt it was neccessary.

I didn't even see that a tweak of the 'didn't change diff' could get you that achevement but should even that kill a gamertag and take away xbox live, your use and their $ from you having it. Nah.

Now buring dvds that are downloaded is another story. Ban that crap as it's costing them big $$.

I still need to look for the romance flags as I can't find them to save my life. I see the me1 flags but that's not what I am looking for. I see some data with a ROM in it and that I assume is Romance but it's read only so can't change the 'FALSE,FALSE" to another setting or at least I can't

Where the heck as I not looking ?

It's probably under one of those sections of the save editor that isn't functional. As far as I know, there's nothing in the plot flag section that controls romances. We just need to wait for Gibbed to update the editor, then have someone set it up to work for Xbox saves.

Dude, JUST DO IT!! Seriously you guys, NO ONE IS GONNA GET BANNED!!!! MOD TO THE EXTREME IF YOU WANT!! As long as you don't change the XBOX hardware (which you are NOT doing) or hack your achievments or anything of the sort, you're fine. To anybody else that is worried:

:o MOD! Mod mod mod! :o

The setup for 360 won't be neccessary. Giibed already said his next version will have 360 support from the start....unlike the others.

Yep, I think it's just not there yet. I hear the next DLC is supposed to be larger or at least more than what we have been getting.

I've modded my game a little bit now but the save isn't corrupted at all, but when i have the modded saves in my 360 the game can't get past the start screen for some reason, I've tried going to my older saves and putting it into my usb to use, but the same problem always occurs, It works but then when i save it and turn off my xbox then turn it back on, I can't get past the start screen.

Same thing happened to me.  If its getting stuck at the start screen or when you try to open the load game screen then the last save you had open in ME2 is corrupt by 360 standards.  You may be able to read it on the PC; but the 360 is more fickle.  So what's happening is ME2 is booting up fine, until you press start at which point it tries to load the last save you had open and spazzes out because it can't read the save and leaves you staring at a black screen with no audio.   The same thing can also happen at the load game screen too so if you open a career which contains a save the 360 can't read it will spaz out as soon as you open the load game menu or as soon as you choose the career containing the corrupt save at which point the screen will freeze and the audio will cut out.  In any case there's nothing you can do to fix it from within ME2.

So your options are...

A:  Delete the entire career through the 360's memory management screen under system settings or by plugging the hard drive into your PC and manually deleting it.

B:  If you use a transfer kit as I do, plug your 360 hard drive into your PC, open the career on your PC delete the most recent save in the career and delete it and try playing from the prior save, although the career may still become corrupted again forcing you to delete another save and start up from an earlier point to avoid the career becoming corrupted.

C:  Back up the career onto USB and put it on your PC.  Use the 360's memory management to delete the career from your 360 hard drive.  Delete the most recent save from the career on your PC, then restore the career sans the most recent save to your 360's hard drive.

What exactly do you mean by  restore the career sans?

"Sans" it means without.

http://dictionary.re...m/browse/sans

So, in this case I'm saying you should restore the career to your hard drive with all the saves intact except for the most recent one which you deleted since the 360 couldn't read it.

In other words, the original career file sans (without) the most recent save which you deleted from the career.

To clarify if you want to delete just the save and not the entire career you'll need to...

1:  Open the save using Modio and delete the most recent save under file contents, then press rehash and resign.
2:  Then take the career file you just modified using Modio and replace the corrupted career on your 360 hard drive with the version you just used Modio to modify.

I lucked out!! I discovered an old save hiding in one of the folders on my desktop and it's around the area before my save got corrupted!!
Thanks for all the help anyway

Nvm, but it seems it's starting to move forward I actually got past the start screen!! Lol

Oh and BTW every time i delete one of the saves the file becomes corrupted.

Dear GOD, I LOVE being able to mod.

I've got my Infiltrator running around with a Widow, Locust SMG, Claymore Shotgun, and the Revenant AR, with Armor Piercing Ammo and Shield Drain. and all my squad members have their loyalty powers unlocked early in the game

I just can't figure out how to get more than two bonus powers...

If I understand your situation correctly, you just need to add more powers to the list, just like you already have done with AP Ammo and Sheild Drain, but you will have to have 0 points in one or more of your base powers depending on how many bonus powers you want.

For example, I currently have Flashbang, Neural Shock, and Armor Piercing Ammo on my Infiltrator. I have no points in Cryo Ammo or AI Hacking. I might decide to take Incinerate instead of fourth bonus, not sure though.

And yeah, modding = ultra awesomess :)

But how can I evolve the powers if I can't see them?

There's nothing especially complicated about it. You just add additional bonus powers the same way you added the two you have already. The only limiting factor is that you can only have 8 "active" powers at a time, by which I mean your power wheel can only support 8 activated powers so you can only have points in up to 8 powers (with the exception of your passive class power (eg: Infiltrator's Operative or Sentinel's Defender) which doesn't show up on your power wheel). Note that this includes First Aid by default.

So, for example, this is what my Soldier's power setup looks like:

Posted Image

Notice that I have three bonus powers (Flashbang Grenade, Armor-Piercing Ammo and Shredder Ammo), but that I had to sacrifice putting any points into Cryo Ammo in order to get that third bonus power.

Also, if you'd like to get around a power lock that requires you to take a skill you don't want to get one you do (for example, my Infiltrator wanted AI Hack without having to invest in Incinerate) a trick is to replace the power you want with it's already-evolved form. So, for example, my Infiltrator replaced...

SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_AIHacking_Infiltrator
0
AIHacking
0

...on her power list with...

SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_AIHacking_Radius
4
EvolvedAIHacking_Radius
0

...and it replaces the unevolved locked power in-game with the fully-upgraded, unlocked evolved form of your choosing (in this case, Area AI Hacking). Note that you have to set it's Current Rank to 4 or it doesn't recognize it.

I still can't get this to work, Perhaps I'm doing something wrong with the 'WHEEL POSITION" numbers on the skills.

Can you show a before and after screenshot?

Why bother to add the upgraded version of any power in the save editor when it's a thousand times easier to just add the basic power, add squad points and then when you load the game on your 360 simply upgrade it the good ol fashioned way....by spending squad points. It makes no sense whatsoever to bother placing evolved versions of powers in the save editor....that's just a waste of time.

It might be better if you post a screenshot of your powers list. Perhaps I can tell you what you're doing wrong.

Because again, inserting the fully upgraded power directly into your power list means you can get around power locks and you aren't required to take a second power just to get the one you want (eg: my Infiltrator was able to skip Incinerate which I didn't want and thus take a 4th bonus power in it's place while still being able to have and evolve AI Hacking).

hum, can you give a special adept power to a vanguard ?

I already have 8 as i added slam to my vanguard but can you say push or better yet singularity to a vanguard

adding a special power is not the same as just stealing a class specific skill so I am guessing it won't work
