Thanks. I might use this for later.
I just have one question, is it better to play the modded carrer in my 360 offline? Because I don't want Microsoft find what I'm doing and ban me from Xbox Live
You can play the modded save file online all you want....MS will never know the difference.

I do have one question for you, Darth Trethon, about one of the things you said in your first post, and I apologize if you've answered it already, but I didn't have the time to look through all the pages.

4) Changing ME1 choices:
While the save editor lets you change the choices you made in Mass Effect 1 those changes will NOT be adjusted in your current playthrough. So you need to mod those choices on an importable ME2 save(ie one AFTER the game's end) and then import it into a new playthrough.
I'm confused by your wording here. Are you saying that any changes to ME1 choice imports won't take affect until AFTER you play through and beat Mass Effect 2 once and then replay the same character? I'm hoping not because the primary reason I'm stepping into this dangerous terrain is because I encountered the glitch of Liara's romance being forced onto my current ME1 playthrough and I want to erase it for my ME2 playthrough with the same character (wanted no romance in ME1)
Anyway I hope I get the chance to use all the programs and steps involved in this, and maybe I can fix the Conrad Verner glitch for myself

Id like to keep my edits semi legit here. Id like to just start off lvl 10 or so and wondering how many talents that would be.

Secondly I've noticed that there have been issues applying the desired color to hair/lips/eyes and so forth. There is an easy solution my friends
If you have a color in mind open up 'paint' (program that comes conveniently installed on your PC) then click on 'edit colors' this opens a secondary window where you can customize your color pallet. Pick the desired color and write down the numbers that appear in the B(blue), G(green), and R(red) sections. now divide each number by 255 (magic number) this will give you a number less than one for each.
example:
Original numbers
B: 14
G: 143
R: 3
After dividing by 255
B: 0.0549019607843137
G: 0.5607843137254902
R: 0.0117647058823529
You simply have to put these numbers in the applicable spots under 'vector parameters' in gibbed. Just select the 'member' you wish to edit and click the + sign next to 'value' and replace the alloted numbers with your results. You may notice the 'A'...this is simply an effect/transparency addition as was mentioned before in a previous comment. The higher the number, the brighter/more "glowy" the color will appear. I typically leave mine at 1, which is pretty bright but bearable. Mess around with it and good luck.
Hopefully this alleviates time just picking random numbers and hoping for the best.

I'm glad I found this topic. I seriously thought that as an Xbox 360 player I'd never have the chance to mod saves or, my primary concern, fix bugs, but now I can

That is what it's saying, but fear not. You don't need to actually complete a game. In the save editor, there's an option under the Raw tab, under plot, I believe, where you can put "Livedtofightagain". That makes the game "completed" and you can just start a new game with any changes to ME1 choices you made in the save editor ready to go.
Man, I wish we could use texture mods on the 360.

Anybody know what are the codes for silver?
I haven't tried it myself but try putting 0.5019607843137255 in for B, G, and R. It's the closest I can get to a silver matte color. as far as the 'A' parameter goes, you probably would be better testing that out yourself to get the exact effect you want. From what i noticed A is set at 1 as a defualt so if you want it more shiny/glowy i'd increase the number a decimal place or two

Well I've been trying to put those freaking values but it keeps saying that they're not acceptable. I don't know if it has anything to do with not using TIM"s eyes.

So you're not using TIM's eyes? did you before on this same character? if so, you probably changed "EYE_Iris_Colour_Vector" name to "Emis_Color" if this is the case, try changing it back. The path is probably just messed up. Hope this helps...if not, I'll keep troubleshooting

Oh well, its time for repeat playthrough
While I epicly failed, I want to thank the OP and everyone who posted on this page with info, questions, and useful tips. If I find myself with the right working tools to mod the crap out of ME2, I'll check back here.

I think someone said earlier in this thread that moding .INI files requires a modded Xbox to break the encryption, so that's a no-go since Microsoft tends to ban modded Xboxs.Gs09GTR wrote...

If you get a lot of achievements quickly, MS might notice.ForcedDj7 wrote...
About the save game, what about if you modify a gamesave to get achievements(make it easier to get an achievement)? Will MS get angry or is it okay?

Personally I would not, but that is just personal taste.
Truthfully, it would be hard for them to find out so.

I fixed it, however I did change the "Emis_Color" and it wasn't working with decimals. I just rounded the decimal number and multiplied by 10 to get a number that isn't a decimal. I just used that instead and it looked the way it should have.

Its possible they could notice if they were looking for it; but I doubt they'd dedicate the resources to it since Achievements are really just the videogame equivalent of those little stickers the teacher gave you back in elementary school.
If you aren't modding in a way that entails piracy or online multiplayer cheating, they don't really care. They could probably detect it if they wanted to; but why would they dedicate the manpower to sniffing it out when they have nothing to gain?
