Sorry for the double post but anyone know how you change the color of your hair in Gibbed?
Number 10 on page 1 of this thread covers changing hair color.

Have you ever noticed how on the slicked back hairstyle there is an extra area of hair underneath?
I figured out how to get to it.
1. In the character creator you must choose the slicked back hairstyle, no exceptions.
2. Once your done with the tutorial area move your save to your usb.
3. Go through the whole process and get into gibbed.
4. Once in the gibbed save editor go to the raw tab, click appearance, headmorph then go into hairmesh and input the following code: BIOG_HMM_HIR_PRO_R.Short02.HMM_HIR_PROShort02_MDL
5. Go into the texture parameters and add these two slots:
HAIR_Diff
HAIR_Norm
6. Now at this point you must add the hairstyle codes to each one like this:
BIOG_HMM_HIR_PRO_R.Short02.HMM_HIR_PROShort02_Diff under HAIR_Diff
BIOG_HMM_HIR_PRO_R.Short02.HMM_HIR_PROShort02_Norm under HAIR_Norm
7. This should give you conrad verners hairstyle, now rehash and resign and do all that other good stuff.
8. Once you see that you have conrads hairstyle repeat steps 3 and 4, except without inputting the code.
9. now once you are back to hair mesh, i want you to go and delete everything in that line, and put None.
10. go into the texture parameters now and delete the codes that are in both HAIR_Diff and HAIR_Norm.
11. once you've rehashed and resigned and all that other stuff put your usb back into your 360 and voila, you should have a new helmet hair like hairstyle.
I will try and post pictures of the hairstyle as soon as possible.

That's a pretty cool discovery....think you could take some more in-game shots at different angles? I find that the best places to take high-quality screens are in the Battery room on the Normandy, during cut-scenes in the comm-room, or on Horizon while talking to Ash/Kaiden.

So does anybody know the codes to get Aresh's beard? He's the guy at the end of Jack's Loyalty mission.
If someone could find a code for this it'd be awesome.

Better ask this in the PC Mod thread, as most of us only have the 360 version and are incapable of looking through the files.
There are a bunch of texture codes I've love to be found. Most of them should exist as seperate files instead of being part of a single face model (i.e. Jacob):
- Donovon Hock's beard.
- T.I.M.'s hair.
- Captain Anderson's hair.
- Navigator Pressley's beard.

Open that save file with Gibbed Save Editor and under RAW, hit EXPORT HEADMORPH, then simply upload that file onlineChuckNorris18 wrote...
I just posted the code on the database right now, I would export it but I'm not exactly sure how.
If you look here, I've got two of my own headmorphs uploaded

To switch out headmorphs, you simply just import a headmorph that is the same gender as yours, and walla, all the appearance modding data is copied over

I'm still curious as to how this happened....Basically, all you did in the end was remove the HAIR_Difff & HAIR_Norm textures from the file----or more so, removed 2 of the textures from the slicked-back hairstyle. I don't see the point of adding the mesh for Conrad's hair, since that doesn't touch the texture files anyways. I already knew that we could mix and match hair textures for subtle changes, so it seems like an unnecessary step to add the hair mesh and then later remove it.
Unless there's some part of the loading process that is not covered by Gibb, that I am missing.
