Forgive me for asking again what has probably been asked ten thousand times, but was it ever established whether or not it was possible to change recruitment order?
The PC players seem to have done it by checking the boxes for Miranda and Jacobs Loyalty costumes, fallowed by un-checking them at certain points to trigger horizon, collector vessel and so forth. Couldn't something similar be done with the 360 modding method?

I posted this up thread and am just pasting it here again for you.

You can't actually "recruit" early  without creating problems in the
game's timeline.  You can, however, check the "is selectable" box and
use any of the later characters early - they have unique dialogue for
all the early missions.  You just have to uncheck the box in order to
actually "recruit" them when the time comes.  By just checking the "is
selectable" box you won't create any timeline issues - Horizon and the
collector ship will trigger on their own.  You can even check Legion's
box without any problems.  I took Legion on the IFF mission and it
worked fine except at the end when it would have been Legion carrying
Legion back to the Normandy - it was Legion carrying no one.

To expand a bit more.  If for example you wanted Tali right after Freedom's Progress you could just check her "is selectable box".  The next time you go on a mission she will be one of your choices ( she will also be on the ship in her usual spot).  You can use her on every mission if you like including Horizon which will still trigger on it's own.  After Horizon you can actually "recruit" her whenever you want by unchecking the "is selectable" box (and also the "is aquired" box as it may check itself at some point.  You could do this for any of the later squad or all of them at the same time if you wish.  Just don't do the actual recruitment missions of the later characters before Horizon or the game's timeline will be comprimised.  I haven't confirmed this yet but I wouldn't try to do loyalty missions before you actually "recruit" the character either.  If you were to talk to Tali in my above example before Horizon she might give you her loyalty mission.  If she does don't do it until after you actually "recruit" her.

You can also use the scheme you referenced above on the xbox but it requires a lot more fiddling and you have to trigger missions yourself.

Two other questions
1. Can you edit cool downs on the 360
2. How about allowing armor to be effected by biotics ? I'm aware it can be done on pc but I'm wondering about xbox again

Thanks for the help bros

1. No.
2. No.

The reason why is because we cannot edit the coalesced.ini file that contains all of the game's basic structure. Someone attempted to manually extract and edit the coalesced.ini file on the Xbox 360, but IIRC, it the game would not load...speculation is that the file must be the EXACT same file size as the standard Coalesced.ini file. I doubt anyone else has attempted to get it to work.

Oh that sounds much easier. One more question if I may. If I were to uncheck the "is selectable" box in order to do the recruitment mission, would all the ship dialoge reset for that particular character? Example: I talk to Tali until she tells me her loyalty mission, i uncheck the box, recruit her, and talk to her again. Will I then have to go through all the dialoge options again?

(i hope i did the whole quoting prosess correctly, i almost never post on forums.)

You know I don't know the answer to that, I think no, but I'm not sure.  When you open up the Galaxy map right at the beginning Kelly will give her collector ship dialogue and when you close it again she goes back to the right dialogue but I'm not sure about the characters.  The big problem would be that once they give you the loyalty mission all they do is remind you whenever you talk to them.  I would avoid conversations if you are looking for consistent dialogue until after you actually "recruit" them but I can't give much concrete info on whether it resets or not, sorry.

Post anything you learn on that with your playthru.

Not sure if this has already been asked but i don't feel like searching through all 60 pages.

Is there a way to unlock all the upgrades in the tech lab?

No - at least not that I've ever seen either on PC or Xbox.  The best you can do with mods is to open up the galaxy map early, give yourself enough credits and go shopping, buy everything at all the stores including the Illium stuff that only shows up after the collector ship and then close the galaxy map again and play as usual.

Damn, was hoping i could do that for my Insanity playthrough.  Atleast i can use the save editor to get Mordin early in the game.

Yeah, it's the only mod issue left standing in the way of a genuine new game plus.  For me it's the lack of cooldowns for biotic/tech at the start of the game.  The slower cooldowns don't actually make the game any harder they just make it slower - to me it just creates a feeling of drag on the gameplay until you get the three biotic/tech upgrades.  I posted upthread on the fastest way to use mods to get the cooldowns but I'm the first one to admit it's a bit of a tedious procedure.

Okay, I tried to unlock the whole galaxy map by checking ''Miranda in alternate appearance.'' and ''Jacob in alternate appearnace.'' in gibbed save editor. I saved the file and replaced it in Modio and then I rehashed.

I went to ME2 to check the galaxy map and nothing has changed!

I was using USB drive by the way.

Did I do something wrong?

Did you remember to rehash your  ME2 profile in modio after injecting the edited save?
And did you delete your ME2 profile from your USB drive and inject the new profile in?

No. That information is not stored in the game's save file.

Is it possible to download modded saves for the 360? Or will it have to be someones personal save for it to load? I don't have a windows computer, and was told I'd need one in order to get my save data off of the USB. I have mac, and I don't want to use bootcamp or anything. Just want to make sure if it's possible to do that or not since I couldn't mod my own saves.

Try to mod something easy like credits so you can check that you are doing the procedure correctly (if it's your first time)

You didn't uncheck anything relating to them did you?  Alternate appearance has to be checked in addition to whatever else is there.

I did the same thing when I was half asleep this morning, turns out I didn't click "save to device" after I resigned/rehashed it, maybe you did the same?

Can you edit armour/clothing for the 360? I know I've seen custom stuff for the PC version - just wondering if any of the relative data can be found within the 360 save file.

I have been messing around with skills in gibbeds and have found ways to add many (more than 2) bonus powers by replacing a standard class skill such as conccusive shot with a level 1 bonus power. However I have not tried to replace it with a skill such as pull.can this be done? Maybe by copying the power name from an adept, and pasting it into a different class.Basically can you edit a soldier to have pull instead of conccusive shot?

I don't, but even if you find it I don't think it will work because you will need to add the texture - and you can't do that from a game save - in order to have the cap appear as anything other than a white outline.  I think this is the case for Ashley's hair as well.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

edit:  I think this might be it - but the people posting in the place I found this were saying what I was saying above about the textures not showing up correctly.

I think the jury is still out on whether this is even possible from a game save but either way the current version of the gibbed editor doesn't allow this.  It would be a welcome breakthrough but I don't think it's coming.

Only bonus powers can be added - as many as you want - provided you have space for them on the power wheel or map them before the wheel gets full.  I don't even think the PC people have gotten around this yet.

Yeah, just bonus powers work, I tried swapping cryo ammo for overload and nothing happened, used reave instead and it worked fine.

ANyone has found how to mod powers on allies?

and, if anything can be done to change the statistics of the powers...like making them shorter time, longer cooldown, or vise versa?

I haven't tried it yet,but you can change squad powers at Henchmen under the Raw -> Squad.Should be able to edit what powers squadmates have, but you can't edit the properties of the powers itself. That would require editing the coalesced.ini file, which we 360 users cannot do.
