oo ok so is the same, yeah I modify their powers points/ranks etc. But always been hoping to change the statistics of powers....oh well.
BTw has any fix or discussion on future fixes come up regarding allies overusing shield powers like crazy? search function aint bringing up useful related info on that.

Is there a way that I can play Horizon while I recruit other members than the original 4?

Did you make sure to only check the "is selectable" box? Other than that you kind of have to avoid talking to them on the ship because the loyalty mission might come up too soon.

Sadly, no. I'll make sure of it next time I'll mod another save.13Dannyboy13 wrote...

The game knows when the actual "recruitment" mission has been done regardless of anything you can switch in the flags. So once you've actually recruited out of order you won't get the TIM mission triggers - you also can't uncheck boxes after an actual recruitment mission to do it again because the game knows it's already been done despite what the boxes say. I don't think your problem has anything to do with getting the loyalty missions from your early recruits it was the initial "recruit"
If you have an older save you might try going back to before you recruited out of order or you could read up on how to trigger the Tim missions manually. I have forgotten how you do that but there is a combination of flag setings that will trigger them - In case you didn't want to have to start again.

So if I modded my save? Will it lock my import to ME3 after I complete the suicide mission?

I think the short answer is that nobody knows for sure.
To speculate though, it's obviously going to depend on what was modded. If you modded credits, resources, unlimited ammo and a weapon your not supposed to have than I doubt anything is going happen. If, on the other hand, you are trying to import a Shep with Tim's eyes, cyberbabe hair, 100 talent points and 7 bonus powers I would be prepared for the possibility of a problem.

Should be easy enough to change back with the editor though, you'd just have to save near the end and change everything back then finish the game. Hopefully it'll be that easy, I can't stop modding all my characters.davidshooter wrote...

So I'm having trouble modding my game. I used Modio to extract my save, then used Gibbed to mod my minerals and hair. After that I overwrote the save file, deleted file in Modio, injected modded file, then rehashed and resigned. I then loaded it up on my 360 after moving it to the hard drive, but everything's exactly the same. Can someone help me out on what I messed up on?
It didn't work for me until I extracted with Le Fluffie and injected with Modio. Try that.

I hope TIM's eyes and the unaccesible hairs don't make a file not be able to be imported. I only have two characters that are modded like that. Why would appearances screw anything up though?
Because we don't know what ME3s import system is going to recognize - I wouldn't be shocked if the importer doesn't know what to do with a character that has eye code information that contains extra lines of code that the player added. It might just crash - and if it did, it wouldn't be Bioware's fault. Then again it might work fine.
I recently started a game with an imorted ME2 character that I had heavily modded in the weapons department in the previous game. When I got to the section of Lazerus where I was supposed to pick up the heavy weapon I couldn't pick it up - no matter what I did and so I couldn't continue. I had to abandon the character. You just never know what's going to screw up when you mod. I hope Tim's eyes go into ME3 as I've got a few Sheps with that mod, but I'm not counting on it.

No one can know for sure; but keep one thing in mind...
If you mod the game in a way that ME3 can't import then you can alway mod your end game save so that ME3 can recognize it.
For example if ME3 can't import your appearance then you can always just mod your appearance back to something more standard. If ME3 thinks you have too many talent points then set them back to a level the game can recognize.
In short, if you can screw up a save with a mod then you can salvage it by using the mod software to reverse the mod.

I haven't tried it yet,but you can change squad powers at Henchmen under the Raw -> Squad.Should be able to edit what powers squadmates have, but you can't edit the properties of the powers itself. That would require editing the coalesced.ini file, which we 360 users cannot do.
Really? That's new, last time I was here we couldn't change their powers at all aside from altering how many talent points they had invested in them.
Has anyone tried this out to see if it corrupts your save? If so how long have you played after changing it because I modded a save to give my soldier an SMG once and it took, over 20 gameplay hours for the career to become corrupted.

I don't know about squad powers at all as I've never tried to mod anything there. But I have played several games right through with all squadmates having only the Widow and I've had no problems. From what I gather from my reading on the net modding weapons onto squadmates isn't causing many problems for others either although that's not to say it didn't in your case. Like I said above, I had one playthrough get weird when I tried to pick up the heavy weapon, (which I'm sure was somehow related to me making it disappear in all my playthroughs) all others have been fine though.

No no, you can't hange powers aside from how many points they each have and what not. What I looked for for a while is if I can take powers out and assign them others like I do with my self... but nvm

No, there is no code for the default face because its actually modeled off the face of a real dude. So you can't tweak the default face the way you can a custom one because it wasn't created using the character creator.
As for the issue with the female voice, that's a new one for me.

oooo I see. It was modeled after they guy...dam. All I want is some hair...
The female voice was a glitch on just Illium....which is weird. Both on Samara and Thane's Mission. Whenever I fought Eclipse mercs every time I used my geth shield boost or concussion shot, I spoke like a female...but with close attention it turned out to be the voice of an eclipse sister... very weird, but It dont happen anymore now that I left Illium so...duno weird as heck lol
