Okay, whats the deal with Modio? It work before, no problem. Now it gives me an 0xc000007b whenever I start it. I know I've got the right framwork installed...

Try, erasing everything related to modio... except the files of course. It has done tat for me a few times. But I just erased the core folder C drive. transfered the zip from my ipod to my PC. Install the framework, and it worked again.

Duno why it has, but already done it to me twice.

I think that will fix it... unless is something similar to what happened to me but not the same lol

If i was to give my Sentinel multiple weapons training, what would happen if I did New Game+, would the weapons still be there or would I have to mod again ?

Pretty sure that any new game will just start you off with the pistol, no matter what weapons were modded on the save you use to start.

What do you mean by "multiple" weapons training.

LIke replacing your pistol for a sniper? and SMG for assault rifle? or what exactly.

If possible, I would like to have all 5 weapons for my Sentinel.

I'm fairly certain that that is Impossible.

Each of the non combat classes, the Adept, Sentinel, and Engineer only have 3 possible weapon slots (HW aside), while the Infiltrator and Vanguard have 4, and the Soldier, 4 as well

Try overriding the Heavy Weapon slot with an SMG of your choice and maybe that would make it possible for the Soldier to have HP, SG, SR, AR, and SMG

oops... ignore me. I'm on the PC. I don't know how they're different. Sorry for any confusion. All I know is that all 5 work on the PC.

yeah, All 5 only work with the PC when you access Coalesced.ini, right?

Can you get all 5 with just Gibbed Save Editor?

I've never tried editing loadout on Gibbed. My guess is that it wouldn't work because editing coalesced immediately affects my saved games, leading me to believe that configuration only exists there.

Out of interest, how many people have tried giving their soldier an SMG in place of their pistol and more specifically have you had any problems with your save getting corrupted?

I ask because I like having a Tempest SMG to compliment my Vindicator or Mattock rifle; but the one and only time I got a corrupted save was on a career where I modded in an SMG on my Soldier though I'd also given a bunch of squadmates Revenants and Widows as well as boosting my power cells and minerals as usual.

My soldier has an SMG in place of Heavy Pistols and I've never had that file corrupted.

Sheperd:

SMG Pistol, tried tempest, but figured it was overkill.

Scimitar

revenant.

Widow

Cain

Miranda/Kasumi:

Tempest, Incissor

Mordin, Thane:

Locust, Incissor

Grunt:

Revenant, m22

Jacob,

Vindicator, m22

Tali.

Geth Pulse rifle, M22

Jack.

M8, m22

Garrus, Zaeed:

Revenant, incissor

Samara:

Vindicator, tempest

Legion:

Geth pulse rifle, widow

I ave tried, as many differen't combinations on my squad mates, tried doing different things, found giving everyone revenants and widows made it bit too easy.

Tried alot of things.

heck my sentinel, has the revenant and the Viper.Dont worry, I have started games from imported ME2 character files, where the only modded things where the weapons, and nothing has happended.

@ Sparta So when you import a ME 2 Character, do you have to mod again to get the Revenant and Viper back or are they still there when you start a new game ?

I'm asking because I've never modded before and wanted to know the details.

I am so sorry it took so long, very sorry. :P Went to sleep lol.

ANyways, yes that is the tedious thing about the loadouts.

If you pick a weapon, and when you start a new game ,from importing, it does not carry over.

So Example:

My Sheperd had
SMG Autopistol (instead of pistol)
Revenant
Incissor
m22
Cain

And a squadie... like.... Tali.
Geth Pulse Rifle.
M22.

Wen I start a new game, my sheperd will automatically reverse back to having pistol, m8, mantis... and no heavy weapon until the grenade launcher is picked up.

So yes, when you start a new game is tedious... because every character, and you has to have their loadout modified again. But I learned to just deal with it, because it makes the experience far more enjoyable as well as the replay value goes a bit up.

But you can just mod your loadout, after Freedom Progress. Only problem is depending on what weapon you pick up.

In my case, I dont change anything except my pistol, to autopistol, so it gets reverted back when Mordin automatically gives me the handcannon he found on Mercs body.

SO depending on what weapon you will mod, make sure you dont pick up any of the original ones. By that I mean, if you change for example your Soldiers Predator Pistol, to an SMG like me... you'll loose the SMG if you pick a pistol somewhere, but it wont if you pick up the locust or tempest.

Same for squadies. If you give Tali, an assault rifle instead of her pistol... she will keep her assault rifle, even if you pick the vindicator, or w/e But she will loose it, if you pick up a pistol somewhere, or if you change the loadout.

Mostly, just pick up weapons as soona s you can, so tha you get that over with early.

Here's one for you Javier...

UPDATE:  The Bald hair mesh files ELE08 gave me are working great (Thanks again ELE08) and I figured out a
really good color code for thinning Grey Hair.

If any of you guys want to try out the hairstyle, and you're Star Trek: TNG fans you might give it a whirl on my new and improved Jean Luc Shepard model.

The Face Code for Jean Luc Shepard is...

643.8WQ.QGW.K21.F1W.W99.UGI.5EW.HL7.1W8.132.5

If you don't use Gibbed the face code is set to give Shepard a shaved head look by choosing a hair color which blends into Shepard's skin tone.

If you are using the Gibbed Save Editor though you can add the hair mesh file names in under texture paramaters in the RAW tab and set the hair color to grey under the Vector paramaters and it looks pretty damned awesome.

ELE08 wrote...

This is a scalp texture.  In gibbed for "Hair Mesh" type None.

In Texture Parameters:

HED_Scalp_Diff:         BIOG_HMM_HIR_PRO_R.Geezer.HMM_HIR_Gez_Diff
HED_Scalp_Norm:     BIOG_HMM_HIR_PRO_R.Geezer.HMM_HIR_Gez_Norm
HED_Scalp_Spec:      BIOG_HMM_HIR_PRO_R.Geezer.HMM_HIR_Gez_Mask
HED_Tang:                   BIOG_HMM_HIR_PRO_R.Geezer.HMM_HIR_Gez_Tang

The Color Code I used for thinning grey hair under Vector Paramaters is..

B: 0.2431  G: 0.2627  R: 0.3137 with A(transparency): set to 0.6 so that the hair looks like its thining a little bit.

Oh and once again if anyone would be willing to take a screenshot of Jean Luc in action, I'd really appreciate it.  I want to upload it to the Face Codes Database; but using my Canon to try and take a snapshot of my TV isn't cutting it.

One question, on the first post it was mentioned that we can *add a second bonus power to your character*. Does that mean being able to have 2 bonus powers? Like say, having one of the ammo powers as well as a shield power? (Would be nice to have AP-Rounds along with Fortification for my Engineer to really look the part) or did I just misunderstand the post?

Also, is there at all a way to edit core-class powers? Like replacing Incinerate or Cryo Blast with something like Tech Armor or Adrenaline or even something basic like Concussive Shot?

Thanks for any info.

Yeah, you can have any 2 bonus powers you want so long as they're amongst the normally selectable bonus powers.  So using your example you could have Fortification and AP-Rounds; but you couldn't have something that's not normally a bonus power like Tech Armor or Concussive Shot.

There's currently no way to edit core-class powers on 360.  You can do it on PC; but it involves editting game files that aren't on the save file, so we can't do it on 360.

Thank you very much for the reply. In fact, it just made my day.

Good thing its the weekend because after reading that I feel a sudden urge to start a new game and enjoy every overpowered moment with my new TIM eyes, AP-Rounds and Fortification to make my Techie look truly Omni-orange-ific!
