I've done Thane's recruitment and Samara's recruitment solo by unchecking the in squad box but I'm having trouble getting overlord and some of the side missions to load without a squad. I'm wondering if side missions are different from recruitment missions? Also, if anybody has done a loyalty mission with either no squad at all, or with just the one loyalty squad member. I don't want to waste time trying to get missions to load if it has been confirmed that some of them don't work.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Now when it comes to changing hairstyles though, my game keeps corrupting. Does anyone know why this is?
I've changed lots of stuff relating to appearance including hairstyles and I've never had a problem that I thought was related to the change. What exactly do you mean by corrupting? You change the hair and it doesn't work, or you change the hair and it works for a while and then fails? Could you be more specific?

Playing solo is a lot of fun - it's breathed new life into the game for me - talking to myself in cutscenes is a little disturbing though.

hahahaha. That would be fun.
I did it on Grunt's and Jack's mission... but it just isn't fun for me.... duno, weird just going alone.... maybe the atmosphere isn't right for me.. maybe a bit darker, hiding, running for my life.
But I guess to each his own.

Is the save itself getting corrupted? what else are you modding? Are you changing both the mesh and texture parameters?

Having a bit of an issue with this. I saved my file onto a storage thing (Scandisk, just shy of 4gb) and yet when I remove it from my 360 and load it onto the PC, it claims there is not data on it. Despite this, when I put the device back into the 360, it loads fine. So anything wrong with the device, as in not being compatible or did I make a mistake?
u have to open it thru USBXTAFGUI. open the Xtaf program and hit open drive, keep clickin the little boxes until you get to the last one which has ur save in it

What program are you using to open the usb with? Just opening it with windows or w/e won't show anything, you need to use a progam that will read it as a memory card like Modio, le fluffie etc.Bourne Endeavor wrote...

Erase all folder on your C drive. And try to reinstall everything again... after you erase everything (reitirating) that is how I got mine to work, the 2 times it started to give me an attitude.

I've got a problem with this and help would definitely be appreciated. I'm using the USB method, and I plug my cable into my laptop, and then plug it into the XBox, in that order, every time, and my laptop never recognizes it. I've tried to redo it, in the right order, multiple times to no avail. Could somebody please help?
I don't understand. You say you are using the usb method but then start talking about cables?

I get to the part where I download Gibbed, but I don't see the file I need to open up to install/activate it. This is what it's looking like when I open the Gibbed Compress Folder

The program should be in the "bin" folder.

I don't know if this will help, but I just searched for ".exe" in the whole folder, and it came up with the program for me.

Much appreciated, I finally got it working.

It worked perfectly. No more mineral scanning makes me a happy camper. Great guide TC.
