I tried to make an image of the drive with xport, but it just creates a zero bit file.

Hey I just uploaded me doing the suicide mission with a four man squad garrus, liara and tali check it out but be warned my shepard look like a alien![]()
What location numbers did you use to trigger the suicide mission early?
Base level name: BIOP_EndGm2
Postion
X: -102149.289
Y: 2142.86035
Z: 4371.65
Rotation
Pitch: 0
Roll: 0
Yaw: 5134
Thanks, and you can add those no matter where you are in game progress right? You just get that screen that's at the beginning of your video? To get a four person squad with Liara you are just checking another box in Gibbed right? And lastly, have you found any upper limit on how many squadmates there can be in a mission - I'm wondering if I can have everybody in on something - it would be pretty funny.
Yes you can add those where ever you are i once did it right after freedoms progress and no problems, yep thats what you get is the screen and yea and no on the box checking thing when i went to play liara was forced in to my squad meanning at the squad selection screen i had to do a little trial and error see if i pick garrus first then picked tali, garrus would be the person i could not control but if i did it the other way tali would be the one i couldnt control but at each stage of the mission the order in which i needed to pick the changed sometimes so i had to restart a lot and you cant die or you lose control of liara but get tali and garrus and i dont think you can get more then four but not sure.
Thanks - I started a new career so I'm going to play around a bit. I did Mordin's loaylty mission today with Miranda and Liara and without Mordin. It works fine but you'd need Mordin to get out of the final room - doesn't bother me though since I just wanted a save to play through the combat with Liara. Miranda talks in Mordn's voice in the hospital too - pretty funny.

Here a question why cant i get over 1mb profile size with out my game corrupting?
1MB??? WTH? No ME2 profile of mine got over 500-600kb....not one and I had like 7-10 manual saves on top of the Restart Mission and autosave. I'm guessing that once you pass 1MB it becomes hard for Modio to Rehash and Resign it propperly due to all the unneccessary saves stuffed in it. Still I see no purpose for keeping that many individual saves as to get the size of the profile to 1MB.

Yup, just under 1 mb is the max you can do without freezing, and/or corrupting. I've been keeping an eye on that as I've been filling up my recent careers with Liara saves. When it gets close I start a new one. I've also found that when if they get too big and and start getting funky trimming down the size sometimes doesn't help.

Is there any way to unlock more than one weapon? Or change which weapon you have unlocked?

Quick question! I changed my name in ME 2 from something else in ME 1 using the method listed; however, I noticed in the career field it still has my old name. Which is going to be transferred to ME 3?
Your new modded name is. If you take that save with the new modded name and import it into a new ME2 NG+ game the career field will display the new modded name.....that's why I always mod the name of my sheps BEFORE I start a new ME2 playthrough....so that the career fields will display propperly.

Okay, if no one knows the answer to my last question, how about I pose a different one. Is it possible to modify the color of Shep's armor?
No....but the armor customization locker on the SR2 isn't bad.....you have access to just about all colors as is.

Damn, that sucks. Because for some reason Bioware hates light brown as a color. All we get is some dark yellow.

Just a heads up for anyone who has modified saves. I used my modified Shep (high Cain ammo, high resources, high money, 1 added power, TIM eyes, minigun that replaces sniper rifle, untextured hat, modified skin tone colour) to play through Lair of the shadow Broker. Everything was working as it should until almost more than halfway through when it froze.
When I restarted my xbox and tried to reload my last save it just freezes and doesn't even go to the load game screen. Restarted several times and it doesn't work. The only fix was to move the edited savegame to a USB and then it loads properly.

My modded sheps had no issues. I had TIM's eyes w modded color, the Widow Sniper Rifle modded on my character, modded ammo and all the usual stuff like minerals, money, pragon & renegade points and so on. So the DLC isn't sensitive to mods by any means but you probably did hit a touchy bump.....I doubt it was the skin color but the textureless hat may have created a problem with a cutscene or something and I found that modding a weapon over a weapon of a different class can cause problems so I usually stick with modding weapons over other weapons within the same weapon class.

So, could I use this to get a BERET? Or is that PC only? Come to think of it... I don't think anyone wears a BERET in ME2..
You can but it will be textureless....so it will appear blank. A shame really. We don't know why the mod doesn't work on the 360 version as it does on the PC because the mod is essentially identical on both versions except that the textures won't appear on the the 360 version.

I'm hoping one of you "modders" can help me....I accidently deleted my profile and "all" associated game files from my drive. I tried using xport 360 in undelete mode, and it appears to work, showing folders, etc... Until I try to open one of those folders, at which time is goes unresponsive. At first I thought it might be due to size, so I just let it run for several hours, no change.

I accidentally deleted my gamer profile once and I was able to recover it using Xport 360. If you open up the PDF manual that comes with Xport 360 the instructions on how to recover it are in there and they are very straightforward.
Basically there will be a temp folder you can get into which should have the old gamer profile file in it. So if you reload that file your profile and all the files associated it with it should come back. I'd give you better instructions; but as I said its all in the read me file for Xport 360 and the instructions they give are very straightforward.
PS: More likely than not restoring your profile will restore all your files since deleting the profile save will make it so that you can't access any of the files associated with it. In other words they're still there you just can't see them since you don't have the right profile signed in.

Here is the section on your problem copied from the Xport 360 manual. When I did the same thing these instructions saved my ass...
BROKEN HARD DISKS, SECURITY SECTORS AND “PART” BACKUP IMAGES
OK, so you didn’t read the section in this manual titled “Copying One Xbox 360 Hard Drive to Another”, or if
you did – it was too late and your Xbox 360 no longer sees your hard disk.
Assuming you don’t have a backup image of your hard disk (with the security hash number intact), you have
one last chance. If you have been running version 1.08 or above of the Xport software and you plugged in your
hard disk then Xport will have made a safety backup of the hard disks security sectors – just as a safety
measure incase you somehow managed to overwrite this vital part of your hard disk.
These files are stored in the following location:
Windows XP: “C:\\Documents and Settings\\<username>\\Application
Data\\Datel\\Xport 360\\HDD Images”
Windows Vista: “C:\\Users\\<username>\\AppData\\Roaming\\Datel\\Xport 360\\HDD
Images”
The locations are hidden, so you will need to have “show hidden files and folders” enabled (see Windows
help). You may need to be logged in with administrator rights on Vista.
Use the Xport 360 restore tool to restore the images to your hard disk. If you have had more than one Xbox
360 HDD plugged in then there will be more than one image file, in this case just restore each one in turn to
your hard disk and try them in your Xbox until the Xbox 360 sees the drive (one of them will be the correct one
and hence will work).
On the Xbox 360, your drive should appear under the “System” tab, click “Memory” to go into “Storage
Devices”. Assuming the drive now has the correct security sectors, it will probably need formatting by the
Xbox, use the “Device Options” on the yellow button to format the drive.

I really want to know, will this modding affect my import for ME3? I wanted to give a boost to sheps paragon/renegade points; aswell as give shep some more casual clothes, like the alliance uniform he wore in ME1, but i don't know the repercussions this will have on my import. Anyone know?
No one knows for sure; but unless you screw around with the plot flags in a wierd way, I doubt you'll have a problem. Some alterations to your character's appearance like changing skin tone or giving yourself the Illusive Man's Eyes might cause problems; but there's one thing you should keep in mind...
Worst case scenario you can always mod your save file back to a state that the game will recognize. If ME3 comes out and you have something that won't import to ME3 you can always just mod the save to a state that is attainable without modding to be certain that it will import. In other words anything which can be screwed up through modding can also be fixed through modding.
In your case if you boosted your Shepards Paragon and Renegade points and then when ME3 came out found that your save wouldn't import, you could simply open the save and mod the file so that you have a paragon and renegade score that would be attainable normally. I doubt it will be a problem though since there are in game bugs that allow you to get infinite paragon and renegade points and I used one of those in ME1 (Lorik Quiinn on Noveria) and had no problem importing my ME1 save to ME2.

Also, TIM eyes + a color code I found on ME2faces = awesome glowing blue tech eyes.
Vector 5, 5, 15, 5.
Don't have a camera to show, but it's pretty awesome.
Related question: I saw there was a vector for the eye whites, anyone done fun color combos with that yet?
