For those who don't know, here's how:
With Gibbed's save editor, you need to replace these: HED_Scalp_Diff: BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROAshley.HMF_HED_PROAshley_Scalp_Stack
HED_Scalp_Norm:
BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROAshley.HMF_HED_PROAshley_Scalp_Norm_Stack
HED_Diff: BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROAshley.HMF_HED_PROAshley_Face_Diff_Stack
HED_Norm: BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROAshley.HMF_HED_PROAshley_Face_Norm_Stack
Has anyone tried other character's face textures on Shepard yet? I'm a bit afraid to try them myself.

I don't believe this method works for other in game characters though so if you were to change Ashley in the above directions to Garrus you would not get his face. If someone has had success with other faces I'd like to hear about it though.

How do you get the Illusive Man's cyber-eyes? Those would look sweet on my techie characters.
To Get the Illusive Man's Eyes
Open save in Save Editor.
Change to Raw tab.
Expand Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head > Texture Parameters.
Open the Texture Parameters list.
Add two new entries as follows:
code:
Name: EYE_Diff
Value: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.IllusiveMan.HMM_HED_PROIllusiveman_Eye_Diff
code:
Name: EYE_Spec
Value: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.IllusiveMan.HMM_HED_PROIllusiveman_Eye_Spec
Open Vector Parameters
Change "EYE_Iris_Colour_Vector" name to "Emis_Color" (without the quotes)
i cant post any posts in the forum to ask questions i can only quote. im trying to get the illusive man eyes for the 360 but the gibbed save editor is not letting me view the texture parameters. Expand Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head is all i can see > Texture Parameters is missing plz help? and thanks

i have a problem, since i modded my savegame. all what i have done, was to change the values for skill-points, money and resources. at this time no ashley-face or different haircut!
it's a NG-Save without ME1 Imports.
after the import of the modded savegame i've got the problem that i can only save 20 times. when i will save at the 21 time, the game crashs. after that, i not even come to the menue-screen. the hole game crashes at the "press start" screen
it only works again, when i delete the 20 or 21 savegame, with Modio..
i testet this bug a many times, is's alway the same: when i save the game in more than 20 savefiles, mass effect 2 hang himself.
i am not a pro, but it can also be the fact that the savegame-file growing up to 1 MB, so i guess there ist an hash(?)-value that corrupt. maybe that happens when i rehash the file with Modio or Gibbed himself corrupt the file.
has anyone else this problem and is there and solution for it?
many thanks!

Well I want to start a new game plus with a character I imported from ME1. I already finished ME2 with her which is what I'm trying to say. I want to add the Liara romance flag to the save. Is it possible for me to do that and if so, how? Thanks.
You have to open your save in gibbed's then go to the following tabs:
Plot->Mass Effect 1->Flags
Now add checkmarks in the boxes reading [Player] Romanced Someone and [Player] Romancing Liara and be sure to remove any other romance you may have imported by unchecking the respective box.
Now go to the tabs:
Plot->Mass Effect 1->Values and change the value of [Player] Romance progress with Liara to 4 or 5 and also decrease the value of whatever romance you may have imported from ME1 to 3 or less.
And that should be it but note that the changes oly take place once you import this modded save into a new playthrough in NG+ so it won't impact your current playthrough.

Has anyone found a way to mod you're powers? Not the bonus powers, I'm talking about just you're regular powers. For example say I have a soldier so I can use all the weapons, but I want to give him all the powers of the adept or any other class, how would I do that? I've been trying with no luck. I even made an adept and tried to switch up his weapon load out, no luck there either. Can anyone help?
Nope, that still can't be done. I don't even think the PC players can do this though I could be wrong.

For the basic increased credits and minerals (i.e. no more mining or hacking required) all you need is gibbed's save editor and modio (links to both should be in the original post) and a USB stick to transfer the saves to and from your pc.RandomPrecision2 wrote...

NO code skills are required - what you need to do is covered in the original post too, but briefly to demonstrate the ease with which (thanks to gibbed) you can do some basic mods, here's a brief breakdown;
MOVE (copy does not work) the save to your usb drive and plug this into your pc. Open modio and "open file from device" select what you want and extract the save you want from the file contents tab.
NOW MAKE A COPY OF THE SAVE FOR BACK UP PURPOSES - just store it anywhere on your pc that you can find later in cae of a problem.
Open the extracted file in gibbed and make the changes you want - all the basic stuff is on the first tab, credits, go resources, paragon & renegade points, etc. just put what you want in and save the file.
Go back to modio, replace the file in the file contents with your modded save, rehash & resign and save to device.
It really is straight forward to do a lot of modding once you get the 2 bits of software and everything in gibbed is labelled so there's do stumbling around trying to hex edit anything.
If you have any other questions after reading the OP and maybe giving it a try, all of the guys on this forum are very helpful, and when they get a chance will I'm sure do their best to help.

What you can do is give your adept or any other class all the weapons training - this was covered a few pages back (83 &&84) with a nice picture by Nu Titan to help. If you do this I'd suggest upping your shield upgrades to give the soldier survivability too.Darth_Trethon wrote...

You don't get AR, but if you're gonna be using adept or whatevers powers, you'll be cooling down anyways.
Another way to try would be give yourself multiple bonus powers although you still cannot get warp, singularity, drone, etc. - but make sure the ones that are not going to appear on the power wheel are mapped to Y, RB & LB, otherwise you'll not be able to use them.

A couple of things here:
1) Did you extract the save from your storage device and if so where did you save it? If on the desktop can you see the file on the desktop?
2) Have you tried going right into Modio and selecting "Open a File" and "From Device"?(if you do this you also have to "Save to Device" in Modio after you Rehash and Resign after modding)

I ran into an issue that I think is the cause of that issue (my own idiocy from not making a backup of the save aside) with these steps:
8) Save the edited version of your save into the same folder with the other numbered saves either by overwriting the edited save OR by rising the number of the save like this for example: from Save_0009.xbsav to Save_0010.xbsav
9) Go back to the File Contents tab of your character's save in Modio and do one of the following two things:
a) If you overwrote the numbered save you edited: right click on the numbered save you edited IN Modio's File Contents tab, select delete and confirm.
11) Go to the "General File Info" tab of your save in Modio and click on "Rehash and Resign" and close Modio.
I chose to overwrite the save, not raise the number, so I omitted the part detailing those instructions. In particular, i could not for the life of me find the General File Info tab on Modio. I cant recall what else I did specifically that changed my then corrupted data to being completely wiped, but I recall it revolved around replacing something within USBXTAF.
Does anyone know how what I could do to not make this mistake next time, or why I wasn't able to do step 11? (I laugh in that my entire goal was to change my femshep's hair style/color, and just that, for a NG+... just an aside.)

[/quote] i extracted the files from my storage device using modio to the desktop. i cannot see the files on the desktop on the save editor and another thing when i open the save editor and click on the folder icon to locate the files its looking to files belonging to this extension Mass Effect 2 Saves (*.pcsav) shouldnt it be x360sav or something along those lines? thanks for the help
