I just did it by accident after zeroing out my class power with the glitch. Then when I added points back to it again it was moved off to the side of the wheel and another power had been assigned to the Y button. I didn't bother to figure out the specifics of how to control it but by using gibbed or the glitch to zero out the class power it can definitely be reassigned and most likely reassigned to a specific power. In my case it ended up on the power I would have chosen so I'm not going to play around with it any further - but it can be done.

Nice catch, will give it a go myself, thanks.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes it's possible. It's done by changing "Mapped Power #3" (in the "Player" section) from "SFXPower_Singularity_Adept" to "SFXPower_WarpAmmo_Evolved2_Player" (or whatever power you want to change it to).
So you know where to find it:

Darth, this was my thought but the request was to remove the upgrades. I'd say go to an earlier save - you'll still have to play through a lot of the game though.
Strange people......why would anyone want that? It'll get your squad mates killed. Besides there are other, easier ways to get rid of the ones you don't like.....like assign them to something they can't do or leave/mod them unloyal. If your shep dies the playthrough is wasted and cannot be imported into ME3. If you must see the Shep dying ending might I suggest checking out youtube? That's what I did. Beyond that I usually let Mr. Taylor go through the ventilation shaft.
I was curious because I felt like having a poor ending on that file. In any event, I can merely start a new file, not upgrade and have everyone die. It is simply more time consuming that way.
There is another mod query I was wondering. Can you play around with the Renegade scar levels or is that PC only?

No, I missed that, thanks for reposting. That's a great find, I never thought to even try that field to remap Y, I was always messing around in the "powers" tab - and now I don't have to worry about trying to figure out how to recreate what I did by accident. This will come in handy for the "all bonus power Shep" I want to make. This should maybe be on page 1 too.
Thanks again,

Mod some of your squad to being unloyal or pick the wrong people for the squad leader/vents may be easier than replaying in it's entirety. If you decide to go through another playthrough, I'd leave all the ship upgrades to the end, just before the omega relay, as you can save here and try out different combos of upgrades and decide on whichever one(s) you like.Bourne Endeavor wrote...

As for the scars, on gibbeds go to RAW, squad, player, appearance, morph head. Under vector parameters you can change the colour of the scaring and make them glow. They're also under texture, but I don't know how to change that one.

You can also initiate the suicide mission at anytime during the game by modding the location numbers in Gibbed from any save to the suicide numbers. You will get a screen that tells you that you are not ready for this mission and to choose between the best and worst outcomes (this must be a dev artifact). The game will automatically put you in the suicide mission with your choice. Not sure if that helps you or not but it's an option. Oddly, it will choose Morinth over Samara for best outcome.

I want to switch some of my choices from the game. There is a huge describtion what to do, but it gives me more questions than answers.
Cause of the ability to use an USB-stick on the XBox360 nowadays, does I need a transfer cable ??? It looks like "you have to export files from the Xbox360" which I hope works only with an USB-stick which would make it much cheaper for me to "work" on my savegame.
And the second thing is ... if I change some of the choices, does it "works" to reimport the "modded" savegame to my box and start a ME2 with it, or are there some more steps to do ???
Thx in advance !

No transfer cable needed to connect your USB into your PC....as long as it has a USB port it should be fine. I thought this would be self explanatory.....the transfer cable is for the hard drive unless you find another way of plugging your 360 drive into yout PC without it. But you don't need to use a hard drive, a USB is fine....the purpose is quite simply getting the save from your 360 to your PC. Now it is worth noting that if you use a USB you'll need USB-XTAF to open it and extract your saves instead of XPort360......which again applies mostly to the Hard Drive.
As for modding your choices that should be fine, change what you want and import the save into a new NG+.....though you should not try to break the game unless you're willing to lose the save....meaning don't do anything the game wouldn't let you such as both saving and not saving someone and so on so for example if you want to romance Liara on a save where you had romanced Ashley make sure to remove the Ashley romance when adding the Liara romance....same goes with the other choices.

I can't get it to glow like mira's face does though. any hints?
You might try messing around with the SkinTone= under vector parameters.

Seems to be an "thinking failure" by myself ... I thought of getting the save from the box via USB stick to the PC, but now it seems ( I think) that I have to connect the box to the PC directly to run the USB-XTAF programm on the PC.
So I have to look for a usual USB-cable and then I can try to do some changes.
I want to "remove" my Ashley romance (and getting no romance at all) and save the council. Glad to know, that even on the 360 I don´t have to play the "whole" game again to do some small changes.

No.
As long as you have an up to date xbox dashboard you can just a use the USB stick - most will work. Pop it in your xbox and format it then MOVE (copy does not work) your save onto the USB and transfer to your PC. I use modio to unpack the save to use gibbed or hex edit.
Just to make sure you know, as mentioned by Darth_Trethon above you need to make the changes to your ME1 history tn impot the save as a new game plus. In order to do this you'll need to use either a save after completing the suicide mission or change the end game status to "lived to fight another day" on any other save you want to use.
If you have any other problems, come back and we'll try to help you out.

My 360's hard drive is dead. By dead, I mean there's a fun little clicking sound it makes now, and I've pretty much ascertained from my research that it's toast. Which means two full years of saved games are gone. This put a damper on my day awhile back. But I found a minor solution in buying a 4gig flashdrive and using that as a hard drive since brand new 360s can have that much memory to start out with.
I guess my question is this. Since I don't use an actual hard drive now, would I just be able to unhook the flashdrive off the 360, plug it into my computer and make the adjustments as needed then plug it back into my 360?
I know my situation is little more unique than usual for some 360 owners, but I could really use some help with this.
Thanks.

To answer your question, yes it will work fine, in fact when I've modded saves before I quite often play them from the USB stick until I'm sure they are how I want them.
As always, just a reminder, in order for your ME1 history to take effect you need to import it into a NG+ so you need either a save of them game after the SM or when you mod the save change end game status to "lived to fight another day".

I may not explained things good enough. I mean, don't I have a USB cable or anything. I just have flashdrives. And I guess I should've checked the article since I'm trying to create ME1 complete saves for my 360 because I really don't feel like having to play the game through three or four different times.
Not to mention that I've never done anything like this before, so I guess what I'm asking is if there's layman's version of doing all this. I'm the kind of person who asks for someone to hold his hand through all this, but if there was anything anyone could do, it'd benefit my plight a lot.

All you need is a USB drive that is compatible - most are.
What I'll explain is how to create a ME1 history for your ME2 character.
You will need Modio and Gibbed's save editor - for details on these see the original post which includes links and basic instructions.
Changes to ME1 history only take effect when importing a character from ME1 or ME2 (New Game+).
Start a new ME2 character and once you wake up in the lab save the game. Extract the save using modio, back up a copy, and open it in gibbeds save editor.
You can now edit the game to give yourself a new ME1 history under the plot tab. Avoid contradictory choices and make sure you only have one romance, otherwise most things are self explanatory.
Also, under the raw tab "plot" change End Game State to LivedtoFightAgain - this allows you to create a NG+ from this save.
Save it and rehash, etc. in modio and export to device.
Once done, put your usb back into your xbox and import this as a NG+ and your new ME1 history will apply. I'd suggest keeping the edited save as a template for any future experiments with your ME1 history as it save you watching the SR1 getting blown up again and again.
Hope this helps.

Yess ... I know what a USB port is ... some things are even more clear, if people don´t talk about USB (which can be a port or a stick), but with some more words to describe.
So finally I looked into this topic again (good choice) before plugging my USB cable into both (PC and XBox360). It made me some additional time to find my USB stick.
But I made now my changes to notice, that I used a save game, where I´´m not able to create a NG+ out of. But o.k., this is (for today) only a small thing to change, after I know now, what I´m doing.

Well I was operating on the assumption that if told connect your USB to your PC it'd be pretty clear I'm not talking about the port and that you'd know where it goes. And why even mention a USB cable if your PC has a USB port? The cable does absolutely nothing for you if you have a USB port. Generally speaking if I ned to break that down for you then you probably shouldn't even try to mod anything.
