25th of March, incident 100326-003173 was raised. The Contact Us link on the points purchasing page sent me to EA Store (email confirming purchase was from them as well, customerservice@ea.com). Person in live chat was pretty useless, so "refered to somebody higher up". I received an email with the chat log, but no follow up. And no reply to the 2 or 3 emails I have sent through asking when I will get a response.

Somebody on the forums suggested using a different email (eadragonage@mailca.custhelp.com), so I did and incident 100407-000295 was raised. That was the 7th of April. It is now the 15th of April, and no response to that either. Haven't even received a courtesy email saying that the "You should expect a response from us within 24 hours." line on their email will take longer than expected.

So, is there even a customer service department, or do these emails get auto deleted after an incident is raised?

The answer is no. Still no answer. It's pathetic.

bioware or should i say EA does not care about any bugs, glitches or technical issues you may have now or in the future . And might get around to a patch if they feel like it it seems. But im suprised they dont help you because you want to give them money and thats all they really care about. Maybe they are not yet done counting the last shipment of our hard earned money to answer ? But trust me IMHO nothing they have put out as DLC is worth a dime . the expansion included. its sad but it seems like EA has destroyed yet another good game dev. But most just dont admit it yet or dont want to. I think they screen these forums and delete/lock posts like this before they catch to many eyes. its sad but it seems true huh . and that whole auction fiasco IMO was just to get us to advertise these games for them. It seems like EA is getting to lazy even to advertise themslves now.

Indeed. Bioware cares about their products but cannot help with this. EA can help but doesn't care about customers or even their own reputation. Quite funny situation we have here.

I'll give them one more email, then get my bank to reverse the charge as I believe the way they put it through without informing me is fraudulent. That might get their attention enough to open up a dialogue instead of ignoring a valid question for nearly a month.

I got a response! It was asking for more information because even though I told them the original incident number they didn't bother looking at the details in it.

Don't feel bad, when I purchased points from EA to replace the dlc that disappeared when I installed Awakening, they sent me an e-mail verifying my purchase, but it was credited to another person! After 3 days of trying to get through to them, yes, including "live chats", I called my credit card company and had them deny the payment. Unfortunately I had to get a new credit card # just to protect myself. It is one huge cluster f*** at Ea, and we are the ones being f***ed over! I don't know if Bioware just doesn't care, or if they are helpless to do anything because it seems EA runs the whole show now. :-(

Well, they have sorted it out for me. It is quite a good resolution for me, though I would still prefer they update their ToS to include how they charge credit cards or change the way the charge them so it is normal instead of a cash advance.

All in all, it took a while but I am happy with the end result.

Looks like I spoke too soon. The resolution that they said was going to happen hasn't happened. So another email sent off.

This kind of bill processig makes me cringe knowing they will have a MMO out next year with monthly billing the @$%& horror!
