I have the hilt and pommel, and read on-line that the blade seems to be in the Dead Trenches.  Now I've gone through the Dead Trenches 3 times and I don't see anything or anyone who would supposedly drop this topsider's blade...

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

where did you get the hilt

The hilt was in Aeducan Thaig, I think it dropped off the deep stalker matriarch (not entirely sure)

It dropped for me off of a Darkspawn called Ancient Darkspawn, he looks similar to a Hurlok Alpha and he's a beast. I ran into him in the Dead Trenches in the first set of caves you enter after seeing the broken bridge that you have to traverse by cavesystems on the sides.
