I've only recently got DA:O and I wish to build my own part into the game. I have some experience with game builders, but this one seems a lot more advanced.
I want to know, how would I link a door from single player so it would go into my area? If that is not possible, how would I put my place on the map?

Both are possible -- i would recommend looking at SilentCid's video tutorials since they go over exactly what you are asking. His video shows you how to connect doors and also add locations to the map.
