Im having problems with the recently downloaded DLC such as Kasumi
When i start up the installer it goes trough the Verify loader, but after that there just comes up an error saying my mass effect game is not installed. But it is installed and there is no reason to download a DLC if its not <.<
Ive tried to delete the DLC and redownload the DLC but wont work. Getting abit frustrated over this :<
Can anyone please help?

More data is needed.  Take your pick from two variations that someone besides a possible Bioware employee may be able to read.  I really wish that DA: O had the same "reminder" type sticky at the top that ME2 has (Victor did get rid of most of the current ones by amalgamating them, there had been way too many for DA). The third sticky from the top in that(or this) ME2 forum, from Chris, covers what is needed, and the part telling the noobs what data we need from them starts this way:

(Chris Priestley's Fill in the blanks instructions -- you may ignore the question about what game is involved, however):

"If you don’t find a similar problem already reported, consider starting a new thread. Note that most of this information can be obtained by using the game’s Configuration Utility, which is available by pressing the [Configure] button from the game’s launcher:"

Let's pretend he wrote that for, and also stickied it, in both places, shall we?  There's no need to ask which game you are describing a problem for, in the DA Forum, and now that ME-1 is removed from the ME-2 Tech Discussions Forum, Chris could edit his post to remove his first question anyway.

Victor has gone around setting up some new pinned messages somewhat along these lines, into some forums, but he used a template that only works properly for console tech discussions, and omitted all of the data that is required for PC version problem reports, came back later with a weird request for XML paste ups,and hasn't consolidated his brand new stickies, nor set anyone to enforce adherence to his requirements, so the noobs aren't paying attention.

If Chris' version doesn't appeal to you, try this instead:

PCs are not *anything* at all like game console systems.  That may not be news to you, but many noobs come here for help who have no such idea at all.  There is almost nothing that is truly "standard" between various branded PCs, making the game developers' jobs very difficult, and requiring that warning labels be attached to game boxes for those games that have serious requirements.

Because most of those noobs, and even many of the more experienced gamers will have have misunderstood how to evaluate their PC compared to that game box label, we have to start from here.  Please fill it all in (if you have a problem with dealing with that, and are in the DA: O Social Sites' forums, do a search for "Basics" without the quote marks, to get a rundown on component inventory functions).

Basic Hardware Specification Chart (Empty so far)

Processor Manufacturer: AMD / Intel
Processor Name / Type: Athlon 64 / Pentium / C2D / dual core / quad, etc.
Processor Speed:  ?.? Ghz (or AMD Performance Number)
Operating System / Service Pack: WindowsXP with SP #?, Win7, Vista ? (Oh, no!)
System RAM: ? ? GBs (MBs, if less than 1024 ? )
Video (GPU) Manufacturer: ATI / Nvidia (only those two are supported, PERIOD, so answer which of them you have89ui8uij)
Video Card Model: (examples) Radeon HD 5670 / Geforce GT 240
Video Card Driver Version: Catalyst ?.? / Nforce ??.??
. . (use the numbers, not the word "latest")
Video Card onboard RAM: ? ? ? MBs
Sound Card Manufacturer:
Sound Card Model:

(And this is only for the raw hardware variations.  Potential software conflicts are far more likely to be game play problems, and developers cannot test for all possible program loads.)

P. S.  Please use every day business style punctuation and spelling.  Solid blocks of unbroken text are ignored, as is any foolish IM/TM-style misspelled & unintelligible gibberish.
