Im trying to make a small mod that makes traps and the related skills less "frustrating" and more fun to use. Im as bad a coder as you can get so my skilllevel is around "open finished stuff and change values at the most" but learning.....Slowly.
The first thing i want is to get rid of the five second trapping, or shortening it by a large margin.
The second would be to make some(or all) traps function as ranged aoe spells, as example the sigils spells. This would work well with caltrops, but throwing a beartrap in the face of an enemy sounds fun too.
The third would be to scale trapdamage and effects with the trapskill or perhaps cunning.
The first objective (the five second traplaying) im guessing is the sys_traps_h and reduce the fDelay value? can this be done in accordance with your trapskill level?
The second and third ones i have no idea how to do so any tips or code snippets are welcome..... Hell a finished mod would be a godsend, but im not too picky.
