Does anybody else have a problem with DAO not recognizing internet connection in game? My firewall is off, and I've turned off all processes I can, and I still can't connect to authorize my content. Any help is appreciated. Cheers.

hmm so you're using the right username and password it just says it can't connect to the web?



if so, do you have a router with a hardware firewall (if what you meant by turned off your firewall was via the Mac settings)?

If that's not it I encourage digging around the PC help forums http://social.biowar...tegory/58/index as oftentimes the problems are the same and the solutions are totally doable in the mac version. If you need help determining how to try a PC fix on the mac version post again and we might be able to figure it out.

Sometimes the bioware site just doesn't respond. I have had that problem the last few days. It doesn't affect gameplay, except for an annoying pop-up at the beginning of a session. ("Unable to connect" or something like that...)

(And my first character has suddenly been demoted from level 21 to 17, but that's another story, apparently)

This is true Marvin, but k0bs is talking about not being able to authorize his content which suggests not being able to connect is a consistent problem, at first I was going to say the same thing but it sounds like he's never getting through at all.

Oh, well, sorry, sometimes it helps to read an entire post... but couldn't it be a site problem as well? (My character is back to lvl 21 on the profile page, btw. Another weirdness...)

I think, it is the same problem. When I first installed the Mac version, it also took me three or four attempts until the DLC was finally authorised. Even now, where I switched to the Windows version, I very often see my DLC listed as "Not authorised" when I first attempt to connect to my Bioware account in-game.

it's possible, especially given the fact that he hasn't come back. Which either means he gave up, I was right and he didn't post saying that worked or you guys were right and the problem fixed itself (which I think now is the most likely). I too get connection issues occasionally saying I'm not authorized and updates to the social site seem sporadic and bizarre but they don't ever persist for me to the point where I can't connect for an extended period of time (which I would assume he would have to have had happen or why bother takin the time to post here).

I have this same problem, I get the "You are Not Connected To The Internet" During Log On and it will not authorize my DLC Content; Blood Armor, Warden's Keep etc (Which I have Played in the past). I just upgraded to an Ultimate addition from Amazon and now this. This needs to be fixed!! It is really pissing me off here. I paid the $55.00 bucks for this game the day it came out, played it then for two complete play throughs. Now a year or so later I decided to break it out and play it again and can't!! It won't even allow me to continue my saved game!! I'm starting to wonder if you guys inherited some Microsoft people? When it works break it or delete it!?

This was a great game.
