 I'd totally go for Alistair.

But I am a big strong manly man so that's just out of the question........his voice though.......he has such emotion, and what a great heart he has shown me so far.

I've never had these feelings before.

Ah, the way he always seems to be able to make me smile. I can't help but want him around me constantly, I have tried to replace him, but there is no other.

 <3 Alistair

Err, I mean.......Yay Let's kill some Darkspawn!! Manly Shirtless YELL!!!!!

Speaking as a bisexual, I don't see what's so great about a whining do-gooder :P

Nope, the game only made one good man, but it requires playing a female dwarf noble to get to spend some time with him.

Gorim <3 *sighs*

Yep, were I going to go gay I would definitely go for Allistair.

As it is, I find Morrigan sexilicious. And here hatred of basically everyone that isn't her is so damn hawt.

It's not even about gay love or anything. Alistair's a cool dude, one of my favorite characters.

As with all Bioware games, I curse them for creating 55 gazillion interesting party members but making me choose only 3 of them to hang with.

 LOL

My main is a big ole Knight in Shinning Armor that can do no wrong, so I try to avoid Morrigan as much as I can. However I just roled me up a Mage to walk down the "evil" path so I will be setting my gaze apon that Witch of the Woods.

Sten may prove to be a Stallion though..........stong silent type and all.

Morrigan, Sten, Shale and Me.........I sense good times.

 Exactly!!

I haven't been this attached to my party members since Baldur's Gate.........ten years ago. Alistair just has such a great personality, awesome voice acting, super awesome writing, and there is just a goodness in his way that you can't help but like.  Unless you are an evil bastid that is!!

Looking forward to digging into Sten though, our first talk really blew my mind.

Yeah, that's a shame, Bioware does that every time. On the one hand, it's nice to be able to assemble your own party, but it means having to leave other interesting characters behind. Then again, it's all in the interest of the replay value...

Play female dwarf noble and get to know Gorim from that point of view. After that you'll laugh everytime some fanboi or gal mentions Alistair ^^

I can't help but agree.. Before the game came out, knowing allistair was a templar I was sure he'd be warming the bedrolls at camp... However I can't help but keep him along even though tactically I'd love to replace him... He's the comedic relief and what's a story without comedic relief..

*SPOILERS*

Gotta admit I would of prefered if Alistair was the gay choice over Zevran. I mean do we really need more sterotypical leather loving pansy boys being the gay guy in games? Give us the bloody knight for once.

 LOL

On my main game, Sten is standing at camp in nothing but his undies. I had to take off his armor and give it to Alistair, when I did so it was like a monster jumped out of Sten's greaves...........

 I'm gonna have nightmares.

Yes yes, how we love Alistair. My character was supposed to be the "I only look after me and mine" type, out for only herself and all that. Alistair however as shown her the way of being good and honourable... when it suits her at least

Ah, back to the point. I'd love for the modders to jump on the ability to unlock Alistair as one of the homosexual options. I get all flustered just thinking about that knight on knight action,

I think I mentioned it in another thread, but like I said, Alistair is the ultimate "bro"

He's the character that isn't there so much for you to explore- He's there to explore WITH you, and talk and laugh about it and whatnot.

If I knew an Alistair IRL, he'd definitley be my best friend. He's just straight up coolness.

I'd Bromance Alistair. I'm not one for the sexy times with the male gender (No issue though... I just don't like anything going up MY one way street, heheh.) He's definitley the guy I'd do everything with.

So yes, to sum up for TL;DR folks, He is the ultimate Bro.

I actually love Sten, but I just couldn't see him in any sort of relationship. Probably goes against Qunari culture or something.

Qunari don't think of women as warriors. They're a very sexist culture. Your character, Warrior, Mage, Rogue, or otherwise, fights, so you're still a warrior. Therefore to him, you are a man. And I don't imagine the rigid religious Qunari culture allows for homosexuality. There isn't much individual freedom either, so I doubt such thoughts even occur to him.

The problem with Bioware games is that only a few characters get spotlight and if any none.

I mean look at Mass Effect, Wrex was only needed for the beginning of the game...

I'm not that into the Goth Witch kind of thing sorry Morrgian xP

Some of the most fighting focused cultures are actually the most homosexual. I mean think about the Spartans and such.

What??!!

I already decided Alistair IS gay...just from talking to him...

Of course since I'm "good" and trying to max all the approvals of him and always picking the super nice options...I've also decided my main is gay :|

I mean he had a conversation with Leliana about shoes for crying out loud...

Ha! I refused to go there with her....I just did the ole "nod your head and agree to get in her pants" move.
