I think I mentioned it in another thread, but like I said, Alistair is the ultimate "bro"

He's the character that isn't there so much for you to explore- He's there to explore WITH you, and talk and laugh about it and whatnot.

If I knew an Alistair IRL, he'd definitley be my best friend. He's just straight up coolness.

I'd Bromance Alistair. I'm not one for the sexy times with the male gender (No issue though... I just don't like anything going up MY one way street, heheh.) He's definitley the guy I'd do everything with.

So yes, to sum up for TL;DR folks, He is the ultimate Bro.

Is it possible to romance Morrigan as a chick? I'm currently trying to get +100 approval by spamming her with all the gifts I find and picking the best options she likes. Someone tell me if this is all in vain

Nope. Only Leliana likes girls. Which she sort of tells you in one of the first conversations you have with her. And a relationship with a woman is part of her personal quest. They did a good job of integrating that into their personalities and backstories (same with Zevran)

Also note that certain characters like certain gifts. A normal gift may get you +2. One they actually like will get you up to +10. Morrigan likes shiny things, but it's not as obvious as with some other characters. Gifts have diminishing returns, so you're just wasting them otherwise.

thats a real bummer. why does the attractive one have to be unavailable lol

I also noticed Morrigan doesn't like a lot of sappy missions. I got those two elves together and lost like 10 points with her lol

funny you guys mention it. In Bioware games i usually go full evil (cmon.. the evil plot lines are hilarious) but this Alistair guy's so cool, i've been playing more of a neutral character just so i dont get him upset.



So yeah . Alistair is definitely awesome. And I am gay and would definitely romance him but since its not an option i guess ill romance everyone else that might be available for the lulz.

As a married adult, Morrigan would only be good as a short term relationship and you would most likely find a dead animal or two in your bed after you dumped her.



Also Alistair is most definitely not gay, though Morrigan most obviously swings both ways.

As with all Bioware games, I curse them for creating 55 gazillion interesting party members but making me choose only 3 of them to hang with.

I can see it now! Bioware's new RPG! Horde! You go around convincing as many people as you can to join you on some long and arduis (spelling? I never get to use the word ) quest! Except you never have to choose which ones to keep and which of them to bench. You just walk around with a horde of people following.

Really? You could have fooled me. Seems you do like reading about it, given that you just clicked on a topic called "If I was to go all homosexual....." I wonder why you clicked it...hmm...

Still, you will get no arguement from me that there is something quite wierd and creepy about giving so much thought to romancing video game characters. (Other than Alyx from HL2 of course, that is not wierd at all...no siree...)
