Hi guys

So i was wondering whether anyones thought of making a companion mod for a darkspawn such as 'The First'. Now before anyone says thats impossible and HES A DARKSPAWN! etc just hear me out.

1. One of the dialogue options your character gets is to ask 'The First' to join him but he refuses and runs off.

2. He says he wants revenge on the mother for betraying him.

3. He can talk so conversations are an option 

4. He allies with Justice if you ally with the baroness showing that although for his own needs, he can tolerate others that are not evil. (for a time )

Basically, yeh he would be evil to an extent but then so were many of the companions in Baldurs Gate and Throne of Bhaal (Saverok especially lol!)

I believe that he could be quite a unique and deep companion, not to forget the scope of conversation he 'could' cover. Overall i believe that he would be a breath of fresh air in the companion department and could be very interesting.

So, if someone isnt involved in a mod like this, anyone want to help me create it?

it's not possible right now.

Oh right, doesn't the toolset cater for awakening at present? Or is it just a heavy mod to work on?

Well, companion mods can be tricky to get working properly. As far as making a talking Darkspawn, unless you specifically need or want the Disciple model for it, it can be done with the current toolset.

but not integrated into the awakening campaign. you won't be able to do so unless the toolset fully supports awakening's resources.

check out some tutorials this one guys has made so far . they are made by a guy that hase made a very detailed mod so he knows what hes talking about his name is jackfuzz
