In title. I've yet to find a merchant who sells tracings or the runes themselves.

Is this just another one of those wonderful bugs or is it some 'balance' screwups a la Blood Dragon armor?

Just the one. Although, if you have a PC, you can get more using the console.

There's four chests full of runes in the debug room. (zz_fab).



Also, all the tracings.



P.S. there's one bug in the debug room! One rune in each of the chests is missing/replaced with the wrong one (a Cold Iron rune is where a Frost rune should be).

Dude, that command is possibly too awesome. I knew that DA:O uses scripts to give items rather than commands, but I didn't realise they actually had a room of epic awesomeness to reduce the need to write too many scripts.

I've only taken a Paragon Barrier rune from one of the chests... but I had to really will myself not to cheese out on a Spellfury/Vigilance/Scout's Medallion/Rings of Discipline and Mastery looting spree.

The debug room is the ray of light in a dark expansion ... it can trigger the quests you can't get, give you the items you can't find, give you the runes you can't make, and I think debug dude will even level you up if you ask him to.



I just wish they gave him a better name than "debug dude".

You can also use my mod to add the runes to Cera's inventory:

This way you can buy them honestly and no just get them for free.

i have this debug dude cant load my person into awakening. i dont even know how this debug thing got onto my game.
