Hi Eric,
Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.
I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you and for the delay in processing your request. The issue you are facing looks to be related to the gameplay mechanics and not exactly an issue with the game. I would suggest that you check our forums for assistance regarding this. You can post your issue there and our developers would also be able to take a look at it.
Our forums can be found at : -

If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know.
Thank you,
Ricky

To whom it may concern,
I have played Mass Effect and Mass Effect II in each case I finished the game thinking "Wow, Best game ever", because of my experience with these games I bought and played Dragon Age Origins. I want to tell you that your ending to DAO flat out sucks. For my story Alister betrays me with a hissy fit. My love interest leaves me. I die. I suppose it could have been worse and you could have killed my dog. I feel that my actions during the game had no impact on the actions of these characters which I believe is wrong. I know you have a right to make the storyline go anyway you want, but I believe I have the right to have the ability to have the kind of ending I want. Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything else from Dragon Age anytime in the near future and I will certainly look very closely at anything outside of Mass Effect before even thinking about purchasing it. Frankly if I want to invest time in tragedy I will watch the news.
Sincerely, Eric Lemme

If you want to achieve certain endings, take some time to browse the forums and the wiki to see what possibilities there are. The game has a high replay value, especially with different characters and different rp choices. I would suggest taking a little time off, figuring out what you want, and trying again.

Sooo... because you feel you made the "right" choices and didn't get the ending you wanted, you feel like the game is crappy?
Not everything plays out in complete cause and effect linearity; some decisions you make have unforseen (but logical) conclusions
I mean hell, unless you skipped every single dialogue option towards the end, you knew exactly what you were getting into? I mean, you could have not died; just do the nasty with Morrigan (or convince Loghian to do it), problem solved.
I guess what I'm saying is, you went to fort Drakon (without loghain in your party?), fought the archdemon, and died (if you did have loghain, he would have offered to sacrifice himself).
Were you expecting the game to say "in honor of your noble sacrifice, the rules of the universe end?"
If you're going to be upset about ANYTHING, be upset about the fact that you can import your now dead character into awakenings (but hey, my answer to that if you have issues with the continuity is: DON'T)
anyways, quit ya whining and play again, and this time, bang the swamp witch

and you could have killed my dog.
They may have killed your dog (no, I'm talking about the Mabari, not your RL dog, if you have one.)
We still don't know yet.

My only issue is with your stance on the results of your choices and being mad at Bioware for it. It's like hiring an interior designer. They give you options, you make choices, they do it and you say 'I hate it! I'm never hiring you again!' That's the part that is blowing my mind.

To me it sound's like you didn't even give the game a chance before you started complaining about it. And as a lot of people have said on this thread, IT'S A DARK FANTASY. What do you think that means, that it's going to be roses and sunshine with pink little bunnies popping up around you?

Here, the pink bunnies have no fur and resemble a mix of rat, pig and bunny.
Hardcore.
