HI I have gone back to the Bann's estate and killed everybody and got the captains key. Have disabledthe traps in the last room with the Golems but cannot open the door with the Tears in it. This has happened to me on other play throughs have I missed something? I couldn't find the lever in the room with the staue is that he problem?

In the last quest for the Slim Couldry you have to go back to Bann Franderels estate to steal the Tears of Andraste.

In the very last room where the golems are there is a door you have to unlock to get the tears and it wont unlock - just says insuficient skill.



I have four skill points in unlock and high Dex and Cunning so cannot understand why it wont unlock and especially since I have done this previously in another play through. Is it a bug?

Oh, that quest. No, the door should work, it requires a pretty high cunning skill as do most of Slim's marks.

Thanks any idea what level? I am currently at 29 cunning

Just tried Leliana and she has 33 cunning and that didn't work either - bugger

4 points into Deft Hands and 35-40 cunning should be enough to open the 60 xp locks.

do you know the script to mod cunning?

No worries just equipped a different weapon with + 5 to cunning and that did the trick. Thanks for your help ;-)
