DA:O DDE, CoD: MW2, and L4D2.
I don't think I have ever bought 3 brand new games at full price in a month before, but all of these look amazing.

Already beat DA:O and it was well worth its $65.
Already pre-ordered CoD: MW2, and a friend of mine already got his copy and it looks great.
And for L4D2 it is pre-ordered and pre-loaded already, and from playing the demo, I am confident it is good.

The only problem is.... where do I find the time to play them all!

Too bad Call of Duty and Left 4 Dead bore me.

My only problem will be is playing Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2.

Autumn releases last year were more exciting I think. Though undoubtedly this year's CoD will be a return to form rather than a barrel scraping.

I am anticipating the arrival of L4D2. Sometimes it feels good to kick back and play a game with your friends.

If I wasn't a poor college student, L4D2 would already be pre-ordered and pre-loaded. I pre-ordered DA:O the moment it was available to do so, even without much word on content, just because of Bioware's reputation. Then by the time L4D2 was anounced, I couldn't really afford it... *sigh*

Uncharted 2 released last month though...

Okay I'll admit DA is pretty bloody good, and AC2 is shapeing nicely.

In the meantime why don't you just kick your friends?

I play L4D with a pretty regular group of friends, so we pre-ordered the 4 pack, which was quite a savings ($135)!
You just have to tell some buddies to get you an early Christmas present through Steam. :)

The really nice thing about these 3 games coming out is that they are all very different.
CoD:MW2 is a good hardcore first person shooter(don't care about the multiplayer), L4D2 is a lot of fun to play with friends(don't care about the single player), and DA:O is the best fantasy game I have played this decade.

Well for me the last couple of months have been great. First was Batman Arkham Asylum, Beatles Rockband, Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, and now Dragon Age.

Will eventually pick up COD but im in no rush, I still have a good 80 hours or so to go with Dragon Age :P

Crazily, my friend just picked up CoD a couple of hours ago at midnight, even though he's only halfway through Dragon Age. The treacherous cur.

It is an awesome month for gamers... but not necessarily gamer's wallets Image IPB.
