Difficulty Insane,

Which of the 2 choices are superior? (I ditched overload and plan to max out FB too)

Saboteur for cooldown reduction and heavy shadow strike(on insanity she rarely kill enemies with one hit,so the chance for  reduced cooldown is slim).

I thought infiltrator was the one with cooldown reduction at 25% and sab at 18%?

I've been using Kasumi on Insanity and I went for Infiltrator and Rapid Shadow Strike. Suits my playstyle very well: I strip the defences from an enemy (don't have to strip them completely on normal enemies) then send Kasumi in for the quick kill while I strip the next guy's defences. The amazing cooldown time means Kasumi is ready to go in and get the next one as soon as she's done with the first.

I haven't chosen yet ... I have both SS and MT at 3, and maxed FB (frag).

Seems to be awesome with this setup, though I'm thinking Infiltrator (the one with 25% cooldown) next, as her cooldowns aren't quite quick enough (with the tech cooldown upgrade) to keep my momentum going.

As for shadow strike, that'll be at level 30 ... so I guess I'll do some testing then.

I feel that if the rapid strike could kill the enemy it would have one redundant ability which is the incapacitate time, its really hard to decide between deadly and rapid, anyone have experience with both in insanity difficulty?

This has been my strategy for Rapid as well.  In the future, I expect I will choose Heavy just because Kasumi requires so much micro-managing.  I don't like how she forgets her cover flags after returning from Shadow Strike.

I go for the bigger cooldown bonus & dont like micro-managing so i always take the Heavy Strike

But wouldn't it be better if you get rapid if you already have the cooldown bonus from infiltrator? I mean...it would be almost 0 cooldown. Or Infiltrator is always a better option then saboteur anyhow?

I think in general having a lower cooldown is always better but when it comes to her strike for me depends on how good her AI is at picking when to use it to get the bonus cooldown from rapid & I dont have much faith in the squad AI:?

Rapid and Heavy are both excellent and it's really difficuly for me to choose between the two.  Either one works, but it really depends on your playing style.  If you're capable and perfectly okay with mirco-mananging Kasumi, then you could probably go ahead with Rapid.  If not, then you're probably better off with the Heavy version.

Infiltrator or Saboteur?  I would pick whichever gives you the higher reduction for cooldown.  Support classes always benefit from this.

I'd definitely take Rapid Shadow Strike over heavy. It doesn't do as much damage; but once you get the hang of whittling down enemies just enough that she can kill them outright, then they'll start going down real fast.  Rapid is more beneficial to me since I tend to use Shadow Strike for taking down weaker enemies anyway since whenever she makes a kill, it reduces the likelyhood of Kasumi getting mowed down before she can recloak.

That's the same tactic I use with her and its incredibly effective, particularly if you and/or your third squad member have some abilities which strip defenses (Warp, Overload, Incinerate, Energy Drain, Reave).

Thats the wrong way. Shadowstrike itself is also effective against all sort of defences.barrier included(damage*2).
Its wasted on health.
So kasumi could be used as a defense stripper against all sort of protections.I used the ability this way against bosses like harbinger.Takes away more than half of his armor bar.(on insanity)
