This topic was created for the purpose of discussing three things:It looks like Chris Priestly is starting to "clean up" the forum by removing some sticky threads and locking support threads, but that only moves the problem to another subforum. I updated this thread to show what a character subforum should look like - organized, easily accessible and fair for all 17 squadmates.
1. The effect of support threads on influencing a character's return in ME3
2. A separate organized character support forum
3. A method of Adblocking specific threads that can make the forum feel disorganized
My idea is this:
I. Make a subforum: Mass Effect Character Romance and Support Discussion (Spoilers Warning)
II. The first 17 character threads would be moved, alphabetized and stickied, while other threads will remain non-stickied.
(I used the titles from the squad pages, but only 5-6 of them have actual titles...)

Created 1 day ago by Ecael[/list]Not all people may post in most support threads, but most people don't post in all the support threads. That means others have to sift through the other support threads in order to get theirs. It makes it easier for them too if the thread was always in the same place. It also makes it fair on the other squadmate threads (Morinth, Grunt, Wrex) that do not get constantly bumped to the front page.
This does not prevent you from visiting your favorite support thread - it only prevents their text from appearing on the front page. Also, it only works when you are *logged in*. If you are not logged in, you will still see them. If you're posting on this forum, you should already have an account anyway.NOTE: My AdBlock filter is only half-functional at the moment because the support threads have new URLs. The anti-character threads and meme threads here in the Campaign Forum are still blocked, however.
INSTRUCTIONS:
To do this, you need Adblock Plus and Element Hiding Helper:
Adblock Plus - https://addons.mozil...efox/addon/1865
Element Hiding - https://addons.mozil...efox/addon/4364
Import the filter list I uploaded here and Append the changes to Adblock.
Thread Filter (TXT) - Filter List 2.30, Updated 5/26/2010
If it is successful, the forum should look like this when logged in, where thread titles are replaced by blanks:

(I will post the list of blocked threads in the reply)
