Im more of a hybrid between un/socialite.   When I'm at home, I like to be with family; no one is allowed to disterb me!  But in public I like to chat with people and get to know as many as im conforable with.  I guess im socilite enough to give a stuttering speach infront of my school.  That said...


The prom I attended last year did'nt have any grinding what so ever.  But every other dance my school hosts has lots and lots of people grinding.  Except the 80's dance where that stuff is prohibited.


And the latex thing would be a love/hate.  Cause not every one looks good in laytex.

Statulos is a older gent and his Catholic prom was likely very formal and straightlaced.


Trust me, I've seen photgraphic proof of said grinding in the yearbook. The proms I've been invited to act just like a regular party, minus the alcohol.

I might have considered going if it was a more formal thing.

Cornhole, I agree with you both James Cameron and Avatar are gay! Mass Effect woud have been a better pick. Avatar's a copycat (and a cash cow going down the road for two more sequels that have nothing to do with the Na'vi and their stupid planet) and Mass Effect's a revolutionary change for space operas (now they need to explain how humans got there).

How will your school work with Avatar as a theme.. or any sci-fi? I would have loved a Roman theme over Greek.

Why the hell would you resign because you're butthurt they didn't give the prom a Mass Effect theme? I'm sorry, but I can't wrap my head around it or feel much sympathy for you.

And I have diminishing respect for people who go '**** is gay'. I didn't care to see Avatar, but how you allegedly reacted is both derogatory and a massive overreaction.

Know me? That would be creepy if you did know me somehow, and are like my online stalker or something. lol

That said, just to clarify Cascadus im not asking for sympathy.  Most of what I said was, was being ticked off and a heat of the moment sort of thing, like Greedisnoexception said.  Sure some of what i did was childish, but i have no regrets.

When it came to my resignation, it was more a "im going to walk away of this in style sort of thing.  And saking for my position back would pathetic.

Looking back, i find most of it simply funny.


And, Cascadus about the "gay" thing.  Im not going to appologize for not being "pc", but for the record I mean no affence by it.

Okay... but as part (or was, as I've graduated) of a school council, it's always better to be within the seat than outside it. If you really disapprove of this Avatar bias, so much so that it quite literally enraged you enough to insult people, then ignoring the fact at that point you might of been kicked out, you really think resigning is going to help? It just means that's one less person in favour of your way of thinking and thus more 'WOO AVATAR' stuff.

Haha! That would be surely evil indeed.  Once it dose occur I will let you folks know what went down.

In the mean time lets come up with ideas for a awesome ME prom.
