I recently had to reformat my PC and I'm now having problems getting the editor to open. I got the message:

Unable to connect to the Database.

Run the toolset configuration program and verify your settings or search the toolset wiki to help with the issue. This toolset must now exit.

I followed the steps on the flow chart on http://social.biowar...Service_Running

I got to "Did the database get resotred/created", the files where there and I continued. When I went to start the service I got this problem:

Windows could not start the SQL server (BWDATOOLSET) service on Local Computer. Error 3: The ysstem cannot find the path specified.

There is nothing in the wiki about this problem ; Can anyone assit?

the database path differ between 32 bit and 64 bit OS and between toolset version 1.0 and 1.01.



also make sure you don't get to many \\ if you copy and paste. these forums has a tendensy to add more of them.

I gave up and hijacked my friend's PC to work on my project. Only problem is that I get this message when trying to open my levels I get this:

The editing of the game resource failed. Reason: Unable to locate editor for object.

Can anyone help?

Edit: Nvm fixed it.
