Shepard has to sacrifice himself to destroy the master computer that controls the Reaper Cycle program, or has to sleep with Jack, or force li to sleep with Jack to avoid said sacrifice.

14. The Reapers are being commanded by an even more powerful race whom we never really learn about.

15. The Reapers are the gods' angels sent to punish the galaxy.

Harbinger is made of thousands of Shepard clones so he can lead The Reapers, which is why he managed to make it through a whole game.

Tali is the chosen one, and only she can defeat the reapers.

Every single choice you made in ME1 and ME2 are made redundant by the reapers wiping out core sections of the galaxy in the opening few seconds of ME3.

16. The entire cast from ME1 and ME2 either dies or are just cameos and you have to spend the majority of ME3 recruiting new people you had no idea ever existed against the Reapers.

Playing as Harbinger and trying to convince the rest of the Reaper Council that the "Humans" actually exist, and that Commander Shepard is coming from galaxy space. You spend half of the game recruiting and gaining the loyalty of other Reapers.

I saw what you did there...............

You will avenge the death of Nazara, but first you must join with the brightest, the toughest, the deadliest Reapers you can find.

You must track down the location of Reapers such as Tira'Zion, Modiin Sol, Tamara, Ashkely, Iarad T'Zioni, Jerrus and Safeed.

(Yes, I just took Middle Eastern cities and mangled their names).

Sacrificing your LI to save the mission. That would be crap. Of course, they kind of pulled it in DA:O.

****SPOILERS***

If you don't do the ritual with Morrigan, either you or Alistair (potential LI) has to die. Morrigan basically runs off either way. If you do the ritual and are female, then you have to have Alistair, a potential LI, sleep with Morrigan.

LOL!  I actually thought that would be funny, in an ironic, douchy way.

The reapers aren't real.  The whole thing was a massive conspiracy just to jerk you around.  The game ends with humanity being kicked off the council, because they wasted so many resources backing you.  Your whole crew abandons you, not wanting to be associated with your epic failure.  Then your LI, realizing that you're stupid and pathetic, dumps you.  In the epilogue, you wander alone and homeless for the rest of your life, mumbling "but I could have sworn they were real," while small children throw rotting food at you.

and then one day the Reapers come and everyone is all like Oh **** the reapers are here get Commander Shepard. Then Commander Shepard is like it's time to kick robotic all consuming ass, and chew some bubble gum, and im all out of gum.

I am deciding between the whole experience being a dream and Shepard finding a Monolith orbiting Jupiter and it taking him to the beyond.

Shepard actually did have a control chip implemented within them. Miranda was the one operating it so when you deny TIM the base he expects Miranda to change your mind but she doesn't. You find this out in ME 3.
